grogerson Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 God provided for the covering of sin, the cost of sin, and the freedom from sin. For those who celebrate them, may this weekend be happy and blessed.
Kulyok Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 We evil Orthodox people can do with an unhappy and unblessed weekend, I guess. Well, there's a snowstorm here anyway.
Shaitan Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Happy easter Happy weekend to everyone else. May yours even be blessed Kulyok
Jarno Mikkola Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 It's funny, as the Finnish-to-English translation to the day is "Long Friday", and the emphasis goes to the long wait for the day to be over. Very similar to the Orthodox view. Although, I see the typical culture crackling here, as the major religion is kinda loosing it's followers*, the days of the religious ardor/piety are loosing their characteristics here. And nope, we won't allow you to be unblessed and unhappy Kulyok. Well, if you allow us to try, that is. And if not, then we'll just come over and tickle with a feather to get you to smile, no matter how much torture it will take. To us or to you. Both, arrange-able too.
