Hey all,

I don't know how many people here are interested in BG3 but I've been having lots of fun with it and a while ago decided to set up a wiki for it:

It's a completely non-profit project, unlike the Fextralife one that's filled with ads, auto-playing videos, and claims exclusive copyright ownership over anything you contribute. We already have some amazing contributors who wrote a number of pages that are a lot more comprehensive, detailed, and well-written than anything you'll find on the other wiki, so I have high hopes about this becoming the go-to resource for fans.

So yeah, just a heads up that this exists.

okay I am gonna be that dude and say Brgiishres Grate 3 is not Baldur's Gate at ALL. the iron rule is WE DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT Brskfdhfjksdfhs Gsikkdt 3.

 

seriously 60 dorra for a fake "baldur's gate" early access for 3 years or even more, a fucking scam of a game in whch you shoot fucking barrels and the max level is .............................................................

But I think your criticism is partly... misplaced? The barrelmancy is just a meme, there aren't really that many places where you can use it. And it's not like there weren't silly ways to cheese fights in the older games. I think they intentionally overdid the environmental damage stuff in the earliest parts of early access (the prologue, and then the first group fight you're likely to encounter in chapter one) because they wanted to show it off.

The max level is probably gonna be like 12, which makes sense for a "fresh start." Think BG1. Maybe you should give it a go once it's released.

Gentle bump on this thread, since BG3 is about to be launched.

We've made really great progress with the wiki, both in terms of the server's ability to handle load, and the wiki's design and content. I think we're ready for the potential onslaught of new visitors and anonymous editors at launch, LOL.

Google unfortunately still hates us for inexplicable reasons (even SEO professionals are baffled) so I thought I'd make sure to mention it here again for those who care about BG3.

no, sadly my criticisim is completely valid. I played this and uninstalled after an hour or two with disgust. bland, boring, uninspirig game, worse, MUCH worse than D:OS 2 in every aspect. basically a gigantic bloated baloon of mediiocrity.

well, play time 433,6 hours - I absolutely fucking hate this game!!!.

I am just about to kill the RULE34 brain hahahahahha I what can I say? Two fights (Raphael and unsuprisingly Sarevok) was really awesome. and thats about it. Somwhere there deep indide there is actually a great game (take Gortash for example, one of the best CRPG character ever!) deeeply hidden under tons of uselss crap, that fucking Oring jeeez what a cringy annoiyng pos. I would like to say that BG3.Wiki is my current favourite site and I'm incredibly grateful to all the contributors.

I play for the story , so the metamanagement (how to complete this puzzle, how to get to this quest, how to find this NPC) is the difficult part. BG3 wiki was just what I needed.

As for the game, I barely got to act 3 when I realized my 16gb memory and my gtx 1660 card/core3 processor weren't good enough. So I spent all my money on a new computer, and I strongly suspect it was because of the game alone) I'm awed, I'm loving this, and they have Naaber! And a Xan porn book! And lots and lots of fantastic choices and party members to boot. Although it seems to me the ending where the player is alone and evil looks less depressing than the happiest of endings with full party and a romance interest. They really could race ME3-before-Citadel when it comes to unsatisfying closure.

Again, great wiki, great game.
