Nope. This one was not obvious since I am using Project Infinity instead of running the installer directly. And the project readme says nothing about it.

Wow that's great troubleshooting @Connelly ! I didn't even think of that when I read this. Yeah, that earlier component is my kludgy way of putting all the small individual tweaks into a GROUP, without actually using GROUP (because GROUP unfortunately mandates ASK_EVERY_COMPONENT, which can be murder on uninstall/reinstalls with a mod like this with dozens of components. It's one of the things I absolutely loathe about the structure of Tweaks Anthology.)

On reflection, since all of the components in this pseudo-GROUP are at the end of the install sequence, I suppose it is really not needed - anyone can simply quit out of the installer if they don't want to install them. So maybe I'll just remove that dependency. I'm readying an update anyway, so...

...And, updated in v2.7.1. Cheers. @AL|EN I don't know if this is something you need to know for PI, but SD Spell Tweaks component #1 is gone and no longer required for the later components.

Something came up between the Revised Invisibility component and F&P, last versions of both. Installing the Cleric Kits fails because it seems to expect SPPR425.spl, but isn't there. A change-log tells me that IWDifications' Divine spells creates/unbiffs it, then disappears from override when Revised Invisibility goes immediately after without any other mods touching it.

I don't quite understand what you are seeing. The mod does not remove anything from /override. I just installed IWDification arcane/divine spells + SDST Revised Invisibility: the former creates Smashing Wave as SPPR425, and that spell is still in /override after installing Revised Invisibility. (As are SPPR422, SPPR423, SPPR424, SPPR426, SPPR427, and everything else created by IWDification.)

It sounds like maybe you have some app accessing the file(s) or override folder while installing the mods, and the files are not successfully created? Or something like that.

No no, no app except Notepad++ to look at override files, and that never blocks file access. And tried to reproduce that problem, both with same install order and only involved mods, same install and fresh install, and can't reproduce it. Strange, but oh well, false alarm I guess.

Hi ,

thanks for this mod witch add some freshness and rebalancing to the game. I have noticed 2 "bugs" in my game :

- melf's fiery missile -level2 :Β  it change the color of magic missile in to a fire color one witch is great but also change the color of the standard magic missile (level one). is it intended ?

- missile storm (level 5)Β  :Β  need more test but the number of missiles looks quite random.Β  Β Is is suposed to cast 10 missiles per enemies ? It means that it could send 100 missiles againt 10 enemies ? It would make sense in comparaison to the original spell but currently it only cast 5-10 magics missiles. The radius looks a bit small imo also

I currently play on anΒ  2.5.16.6 version of BG2

I have updated the mod to version 2.8, with two changes:

First, a small compatibility fix for the Magic Bolt cantrip.

Second and more substantially, I have added an experimental capability to the Revised Invisibility component. Now, when invisible, you will be able to perform a backstab on your next attack without needing to position yourself behind the target - you can "backstab" from in front of your target. It is magical invisibility, after all! (Note, when merely hiding using the nonmagical thief skill, you will still only be able to backstab from behind your target. You need to, in fact, be hidden from their awareness.)

Anyone with magical invisibility detection (e.g. op193 from the Detect Invisible and True Seeing spells) will be immune to backstabs.
