  1. This was reported already, else where... Demi screwed up the spell in the latest v4 b13 release.
  2. Way too small to attach files for this, as you could just post the whole thing, as well as:
  3. Well, I would say no. It is likely there because removing them isn't very easy... but I it is doable, if demi agrees with me. As the summon is just a nother 9th level summon, so it shouldn't have HLAs. Just like the gated demons should not, nor any other non story related encounter should not have HLA capable threads in their sleeves. Yes, the summoned/gated/etc creature level limit should be 15, not 25 like in SR. Why ? Cause the summons should be only about 1/3rd's of the summoners potential over all strength.
  4. Am I crazy or does the score matter at all in representing how much carry weight the char can hall in this table ? Cause if it did, it would look like:10 ... 70 11 ... 80 12 ... 90 13 ... 100 14 ... 110 15 ... 120Or how ever you wish to set it, it would never be 70 -> 70 -> 90 -> 90 ...
  5. Why are you laughing ? Asking because, have you ever not been able to move and then got your head sliced off cause the invisible wall was there... cause of unexpected interaction between things. I bet you have, and now you have to the avoid the thing all the time, while fixing it would have been so easy, just roll +10 more advanced game engine to the current ones place. Same thing here, the Spell Pack has probably done a lot of this stuff already, but there are a lot of counters that could happen. The Cone of Cold is a good "counter" among other effects of it to the (Red) Flame Shield. Of course making and maintaining consistency in a magic system like this will be hard thing to do, so it's not like you have to do it necessarily.
  6. What does the strmodex.2da look like ? Hoping it looks boring: 2DA V1.0 0 TO_HIT DAMAGE BEND_BARS_LIFT_GATES WEIGHT_ALLOWANCE 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 2 .. 50 0 0 0 100 51 0 1 0 102 ... 100 0 1 0 200
  7. In the old engine, there's also other horizontal lines... including in the menu GUI, if you adjust computers graphical settings "incorrectly". If for example you have your GPU's control set to 3D quality instead of performance, in the NVidia control panel. ...
  8. Well, considering the "seasoned adventurers" have less than 5000xp, I really doubt that they are all that seasoned. Considering the enemies that you'll face to get to the + books are fairly more decent, I don't see the PC getting to them before that amount of XP. Unless they risk their lives unduly. Coran... the hippy ranger, got nothing on an actual ranger. Right. It's not like the game can handle it's balance by itself. Or is it that you can't just add things if there's things already in balance ? So your only way to improve is to reduce and then add ? That's ok, but doing so with the expense of others, is kinda out of date. Cause the player can't be expected to do everything you do in the same order, there needs to be various bonuses on different locations and thus also multiple ways to get more powerful, not just 1. And people usually forget all about that. Ever started the game with a char that has 10 in every stat and try to win the game ? I am betting you would welcome the bonuses the game throws at you, at some point.
  9. .. and they got punished for looking like that and got tougher hides(+1 con) all seems legit... except that what if the on looker is a <insert a random non bipedal race>, then the race perspective you have doesn't apply, and the orc might be the fanciest of them all. Well, or not, cause the player doesn't ever take a half orc in BGT-weidu/EET game if they choose to not do so. And so there won't be a 20 somethings to fly by. Ouh, but of course one could also choose the one kit that gives +1 at level 1, level 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50. No manuals or cheat hammers needed, just pure will.
  10. Sorry but my BG2 fighter will always have at least 19 STR, cause of the manual in BG1. So that's not a real benefit, ever to be. Which is why the half orc char could have that in BG2 char-gen. Of course this all depends on how the bonuses change in each stat. So, I'll comment that too...
  11. Erhm, sorry, but, that's a -3 overall stats out of 18 in all, all the other races have avarage 18, except dwarves with -1, and they get a bonus saves out of it... what are you thinking man ? Plus they get nothing out of it, unlike the every other race except humans. 19 on CON would definitely equalize it a bit... enough maybe. I don't know, but not this: 19 17 18 17 18 16 ... And I heavily am of the opinion that 19 should be the max for everyone. And the Half Elf Cha 19 is good in this too.
  12. Before you did this, did you extract all the BG2 mod to the folder ? Cause it only works in the mods files you extract...
  13. And you can't make that optional too, because ?
  14. Then obviously it just needs to set this: SetGlobal("C02SireneRomanceActive","GLOBAL",3)Also it might be vice to check if the player1 is available to interaction, and not only if the lonely global is something. .
  15. Well if you had not leveled her up, things might be different. Aka, if you level her up, she will have the required HPs to take the damage, but if she is still at level 1 and she is not leveled up due to the component setting it back to one, she will have only 6 HPs.
  16. To fix that, set the damage amount to 1 or 2 hundred, but the type to non-lethal.
  17. And who said that you would have to use 6 PC chars... 2 is fine in most books. And most instances there can be 2 players for that too. Even if you just create 1 player created char.
  18. If you can enter the area during night, push the x key, it will give you the file name of the area, then just --change-log y.are file, the y being the area name the x gives you.
  19. Yeah, usually that's a sign that the weidu.exe that was used had trouble decipher the .tlk's of existing mods, usually due to use of a older versions of weidu.exe than the what was used in the other mods install. Why it didn't autoupdate is usually due to instruction to not do so. Fun isn't it that the forum puts smiles to weidu.log ..
  20. Well one could go and give it the DLC folder... so perhaps. But, does the SoD game of your contain all the BG1EE's resources, aka can it be used as the only one. Probably not.
  21. Yes. Is this "then it should ask for the SoD game folder." too ? Cause the regular edition(from GoG & Steam on PC) only has them BOTH in the same folder (structure).
  22. In case you missed the fact... ALIENQuake asks you & subtledoctor to do things to allow this to happen(aka bring the Divine Remix to GitHub's Gibberlings3 pages), not that he would do a thing. So are you asking him not to ask you to do this ?
  23. Sorry, but what you are doing is really concerning, cause it's like you are pulling a rabbit out of your ars and expect everyone just abbey it ... aka if the player has your character on their party, no matter what else happens before that point, the player is penalized just for that single thing with say 100 000 gold cost increase for this single thing. It's like you are building a wall that allows no one else to even play with the char. Or you just prefer the cheaters... C:AddGold(130000)
  24. Yeah, but you can "keep it as close to the vanilla experience as possible", without making unrequited changes that will make mods such as SCS incompatible with it. As it's a mod that was not made for BG2EE... in case you didn't notice and now required patching for it to be even that.
