  1. I noticed another extra line in thenovelists.tra :

@333  = ~"*Please* tell me you're not dressing me up in pluderhosen." <CHARNAME> looked at Delio pleadingly.
"Big pants are all the rage this year," replied Delio, amber eyes bright. "They show off those wide, erm, child-siring hips and, of course, there's the necessary conspicuous display of fabric."
         <CHARNAME> cringed.
"It's a battlefield like any other. And we need to get our armour and weapons *right*, or we won't even get in the door... what are you doing?"
<CHARNAME>'s nimble fingers wrapped around Delio's wrist, his thumb rubbing gentle circles over the pulse-point and then tugged lightly down. "Don't we both need to smell pretty?" he purred.~ ~ "But when Delio leaned over the bath, blocking the light, <CHARNAME> flinched in the water.
"Sshh," said Delio, drawing back and twisting so that their hands locked, palm to palm and fingers woven. "I'm me, I am yours, I am not some... silver-eyed *thing*."
<CHARNAME> drew in a deep, shuddering breath. "Well then." His teeth flashed in a sudden grin. "But *I* might be. How, m'dear, could you *possibly* test me to your... satisfaction?"
In the flare of lamplight, Delio's eyes became golden and heavy-lidded with desire as they travelled down <CHARNAME>'s lean form from crown to toe-tip and back up again. "I have some ideas."
"I like all your ideas." And he drew Delio down...

  2. Thanks. I will upload the new .tra files when @812 is translated.

Please note that all updates of french languages are made by Mornagest.

In the change-log.txt, you can find something about this in the to-do-list:

...- updated french language thanks to Mornagest (of the d'Oghmatiques)

    V4 - Beta 14 (25 December 2016)
    - Update to WeiDU 240

    ...

  3. Hi Demi,

Here are the .tra files for Spell Revisions v4 beta13. All credits go to Mornagest (of the d'Oghmatiques) for this update.

We tested the translation on BG2EE install and it works fine.

We also noticed a string in .tp2 isn't reported in setup.tra files:

    Spell Deflection blocks AoE spells

Here is the translation in french:

Deviation de sorts bloque les sorts a zone d'effet

Also, we noticed others languages are incomplete for this version (as the french until today): there are missing strings, and existing strings don't have been updated.
That is to say that installs in others languages will fail; We think you should deactivate install in others languages, otherwise players will be disturbed... particularly because many strings were changed between v3 and v4.

    french v4b13.zip

  4. I've not read map labels (cause I know they are already in BP-BGT Worldmap).

I have just one observation about setup.tra :

    en_US/setup.tra is empty

fr_FR/setup.tra contain both English and French sentences.

    That's what explained Isaya here:

I also extracted from the tp2 file all texts used in PRINT/WARN/FAIL and their PATCH counterparts and put them in setup.tra. I assume this file will be used to translate them in the end. I started translating them in anticipation.

Anyway, don't worry: these strings are commented, so they won't be called in the install.

  5. Graoumf, why you guys are not hosting unfinished French BG2:EE translation externally? Polish one is not done yet either (although it's close too) but players were able to play the game in Polish from the start. English strings only in content that have not been translated yet. Updates to TLK files after each translation milestone is reached. Even an option to update the translation after the game was started (via weidu code). Take a look how we host it:

    TLK files: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/40588/polska-wersja-oraz-dubbing-download

    Dubbing: http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/1113-polish-language-localization-for-bg2ee/

I don't think many people from Poland would even consider playing EE games if they were forced to use English language. I'm surprised that other translation teams didn't adopt similar approach.

We're hosting nothing because there is nothing to host. There is no french translation of BG2EE, absolutely nothing.

I'm under NDA and I know what I'm talking about.

The only thing we're hosting since many months are files which match and replace the strings from the vanilla game.

    ------------------

You may think that it's our team who is translating BG2EE, but it's not the case.

Our team (the d'Oghmatiques) has translated mods since 12 years (including BG1 NPC Project, Keto, TDD, etc...). People who are translating BG2EE are another team, and in fact there is nobody currently: they gave up.
