Grim is correct. When done, Del will be her own release, but it will contain both SoA and ToB.

I will get the writing done in the next couple of months. Yes, I will put up some material, but not before the weekend. I've been dealing with a few real life things (getting a car fixed, getting plumbing fixed underneath, and doing a few other minor projects). And I have to finish her...I made a promise to BevH, Immortality, Domi, and others that I would also work on Durlyle afterwards...and I do intend to do it. (For the record, I imagine a good 50% of Durlyle will share common material with Del)

Thanks. I'm doing better, and have gotten a little writing done. As mentioned, I'm just getting the last bits of Tashia done (in between homework), and then I can focus exclusively on Del.

I will definitely have more done tonight, Pekka. My goal is to try and get most of it done before the end of the month (at least the NPC banters). And yeah Domi, I pretty much want to finish what I want with Del, and then take a step back, and see what I will and won't include for Durlyle. Considering one is a version of the other, there will be some commonality. However, given one is female, and the other is male, not everything would be the same by any means, and I intend to at least make them somewhat different they won't come off as the exact same person.

I'm actually hoping to get some writing done tonight. But, as for Durlyle...after I finish writing for Del, I will get into Durlyle. Considering at least half of the material will be the same, it won't take nowhere near as long.

Well, my reaction to it isn't exactly common...nor was it expected. I hope to be back in the saddle soon. I really want to finish banters by the end of this month. At least if I get the writing done...well, then it will be up to the coder.

*nods* It is actually coming along now. Of course, most of the material has been sitting in my mind for a while now, but even at the best of times, I was only doing 5-6 banters a day, and 3-4 on the average. That said, I don't know how much progress I am going to do tonight. My shoulder still aches from the tetanus shot (much worse than a flu shot...and no, nothing happened to me, just needed to get the shot)

Well, with what I have done before, and what was done in the last 3 days, I can definitely say I've moved beyond the 1/3 mark of intended banters (assuming nothing is cut) Hopefully, that means 3 banters per NPC (though there may be a few more...like CG Sarevok, TN Viconia, and CN&LG Anomen)

March 9, 2006 Didn't get the 3 banters I wanted done, but did get two done: one for Mazzy, and one for Nalia. My arm is still sore from the tetanus shot. After the next batch, I will put something new up.

Well, I got 6 done in the last two days, and it is looking good I may get another 3 done today...and with Keldorn, Sarevok, and Jan being done, that definitely places me at over 25% done for the NPC banters.

March 8, 2006 Tentatively have two more Banters done. 1 Korgan, and 2 Aerie. Assuming they pass muster, I will hopefully be putting up another sample in a day or 2.

March 7, 2006 One epilogue written, 2 Sarevok banters written, and 1 Jan banter written. That means the following NPC banters are finished (barring something else coming up): Keldorn, Sarevok, Jan

Well, I do have a little more work done, but it is really rough. I can only apologize for the delays, but it wasn't entirely me. I had the majority of the writing for SoA done in 6 months, after all. However, if I'm going to get it done, it will be this year. It's not like BG II is getting any younger (though still more pleasing from a story point for me than NWN)

Well, I plan on starting up writing again next week, and then it will need coded...if nothing else, I hope to at least have all the writing done (I know, it's past the 2 year mark )

Well, I got some good news that has me guardedly optimistic about things to come, though it will still take some time to see how it comes out.

Feb 8, 2006 Hi everyone. I guess this post won't be too much of a surprise, but here it is. I definitely need to take a break from things (it is primarily real life related). Of course, this could be seen by my lack of writing, and such with Del. I hope once I regain my balance, things will be better. I am fairly sure I am not abandoning her, but there are some things I really have to attend to. This isn't saying I may not work on her in the meantime as the mood strikes, but for the moment...the spark needs recharged. To all those who still was waiting for Del these last 2 years, 4 months...Thank you.

Well, progress is going forward, and I will have something more to say this coming week. I am guardedly optimistic I will have more than just a couple banters written, though.

Jan 21, 2006 Been a little while, but I do have some news. First, I tentatively have the last lovetalk for Tashia written. If it passes muster, that means I don't foresee having to write anymore for Tashia, and that will project will be done. In related news, I think I have 1 Banter for Minsc, and 1 Banter for Nalia written.

January 8, 2005 Hopefully I finished the Keldorn banters. I am 1/4 done with the last Tashia lovetalk, and hopefully finish it tomorrow (the only reason I mention Tashia is that after it is done, I can focus again on Del).

Dec 31, 2005 Removed a Sarevok banter for not fitting what I wanted, but I did finish a Keldorn one. Definitely have ideas to finish off Keldorn and Sarevok banters (as well as get a Chaotic Good one). New Year's Resolution? Finish writing Del before a third year passes. On another note, I only have one more piece to write for Tashia, and then I can focus entirely on Del.

December 21, 2005 I actually have some news to report. Some writing has actually gone on. Before the long hiatus, I had 1 Sarevok, 1 Aerie, 1 Jan, 1 Jaheira, 1 Haer Dalis' and 1 Edwin banters done. Today, I am tentively adding 2 more new Sarevok to the batch. I am hoping to get 3 banters done per NPC for ToB, with 1 showing up if Del is being romanced. This also means that the Sarevok ones could be altered as necessary since it has been a long time since I really wrote for it. As ToB isn't that long, I don't think there will be any new quests, or what have you.

From the statement above, I said I will finishing the editing in the next week or two. They will still need to be coded. But it won't take 6 months, either.

The main difference with the new Tashia is that she will have new material. We have kept Ariana text, and just added to it. There is some expansion of Lovetalks in ToB and SoA, as well as the inclusion of specific Class lovetalks (1 for each class) in SoA. Additionally, there are now 2 banters per NPCs (over 60 new banters were written for Tashia). We also have addressed, hopefully, some other concerns such as the 'Monty Haul' aspect of the fight with Arilistan. I will be finishing up what I need to do in the next week or so (it is mainly just editing now), and then I will at least focus on writing the ToB Banters, and lovetalks for Del.
