  1. Is it recommended to install Unfinished Business before or after the newest version of Ascension?
  2. Yeah, those old SoA powers that were restored. When I begin ToB(after beating Irenicus in SoA) all lost powers are there but after saving and later reloading said save all SoA powers are gone.
  3. Hmmm, after I begin ToB I lose all restored bhaalspawn abilities from SoA(which the mod recently allowed to regain once the PC gets the soul back from Irenicus) if I save and then load said save in ToB.
  4. I would like to give it a try too! I was worried that this mod was dead when I asked about its state around 1.5 years ago. Great that its still got some life left!
  5. Given how romance dialogues, flrts and baters took over 15 years it is likely that quests, coding and (often the hardest part) finishing touches will last 10-20 years. Burnout, RL, and simple technical problems combined with it being a solo work often make making mods extremely difficult especially after college when one gets a job and a family and there is no longer so much free time as before. I wish BigRob good luck on this task but I noticed that most mods that are in the making for more than 5 years end up around 90% of the time in Limbo or the person in charge writes a letter to the community to apologize after realizing it will likely be impossible to finish at that rate. I hope I did not sound like a jerkass nor it was my intention to sound so cynical but I though it would be wise to tamper the excessive optimism of those who expect the mod to be finished soon and plan to keep asking about it. Its done when/if its done.
  6. So you mean that the current beta of BG2EE(which can be downloaded already) got some of the restored stuff and fixes from the latest fixpack but the whole content will be released when it goes out of beta, right? Or is all the CURRENT content from the fixpack in the beta already but more stuff is planned to be included in the fully finished ver 2.5? It means that as the EE beta is being made, the BG2Fixpack can benefit from that process and thus, some of the fixes can be installed into the non-EE game. The BG2fixpack is not meant for the EE games... as it's already "in" it, so to speak. Well, I just wondered if I should use my beta version of EE or use the fixpack on my original BG2 install for most restored content/fixes. Since the latest update pre-beta happened like half a year ago(or more?) then I'm sure plenty of new stuff was added/improved/fixed by the fixpack since then so I was curious whether to finally give my beta of EE a try or use the fixpack on the original BG2 for the more "complete" experience...

  8. Are those restored extra lines included in the latest version of BG2EE or one can only get them for the regular BG2 (since BG2 Fixpack skips most of the stuff when used on a BG2EE install)?
  9. Nice, thanks for the help!! Btw are there any plans for Jarl's Adventure Pack to be BGEE compatible?
  10. Hmmm, is this mod expected to work with say...Romantic Encounters and/or Unfinished Business or would it be better to check it without these? And if it should work then is there some specific order in which they should be installed or not?
  11. Any news/updates? I quite liked this mod so I hope it is not dead.
  12. Why not release a beta with all content that has been completed and open a thread asking folks if anyone wants to finish it off? That way those that were waiting over a decade would finally get something. If you don't have even time to put together what you have done in the form of a playable mod then you can also ask here if anyone wants to do that too. You could potentially include some suggestions or a sorta guideline for those who want to finish the final talks while keeping the romance more or less how you envisioned it and in character.
  13. As long as there is still progress there is hope. Nice to see it still going on.
