  1. Hi David, Thank for the quick update. The component standardise BG1 spells [3501] does not work: It creates new itm in inventories of cre: %WIZARD_.itm... and no items in stores. this component has not change since v34, it could be link to sfo2e lib if it does not init %WIZARD_Spell_SCROLL% cheers
  2. No model for polymorph self: ogre barbarian form. Improved haste doesnt work. The message i get is: CHARNAME is unaffected by improved haste. The new lvl 9 arcane spell Veridon's Icy Ray has no animation. The new mindflayer transformation (and probably all the other lvl 9 transformations aswell) sometimes doesnt wear off after 1 in-game hour, such as when resting or when traveling. Sometimes when clicking on cleric tab it doesnt work. I didnt do a fresh install of all the mods, I simply uninstalled the old scs and installed the new one. All these are new bugs. I will do a fresh install of all my mods in the future and check if the bugs are somehow caused by interactions with my other mods. mod list: ascension, monk hla's, skip irenicus dungeon, tweaks, item randomizer, scs
  3. The spell description says "Damages and instills fear in enemies who are evil". But since the spell uses an indiscriminate projectile, it can also hit non-enemy creatures if they're evil. Descriptions are pretty consistent about this in general - if it says "enemies", that's what it means. Spotted here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/1199335/#Comment_1199335 I know there's already something in the fixpack on this spell ... but that seems to just be about simplifying the implementation with a subspell rather than a ton of EFFs. Nothing in what I read about hitting friendly evil creatures. Recommended change: swap the projectile from INAREA (#94) to INAREANP (#159).
  4. Hello, after visiting firewine ruins I randomly started getting CANNOT REST MONSTERS ARE ABOUT after loading games. The game keeps spawning kobolds in every zone if I load a save. I went and cleared firewine again and it fixed the problem for couple of hours and then kobolds started to spawn again. I currently saved at the start of bg2 and now when I load the save it says enemies are about even though I just started bg2 part. This makes the game way too hard because I can't save or rest anywhere if I load a game.
  5. Tweaks on BG2EE. It seems that in several new versions of Tweaks the Clab**.2da files do get new columns but without extending the abilities (columns contain only asterisks) I have checked the versions and last version where this worked properly was v12. It seems it was the "Fixed a bug where a couple of components interacted badly with malformed kit ability tables" fix from v13 that broke it. Basically v13 tables now have 50 columns where that did not happen, but instead now just dont extend any abilities. Note: tested this by only installing the remove XP cap component and nothing else. Also the fix was based on this bug report by the bigg. First set of tables are v12 and second is v13 (those are the same for all newer versions) WeiDU.log CLABRN02.2da CLABDR02.2da CLABFI04.2da WeiDU.log CLABDR02.2da CLABFI04.2da CLABRN02.2da
  6. Following issue noted with VerrSza: He joined, got a level up with weapon prof point and could not select the weapon profs expected. A little investigation showed, that the weapon profs available are the one from Bristlelick (installed before). After some hassle I noticed the entry in the Kitlist.2da for Proficiencies: OHTEMPUS 62 L#GNLKT 62 L1VERR 63 ESXABIL 65 Well, I changed the numbers in a way that they are following each other and everything was fine. Bristlelick and BG1 VerrSza have been installed in a 2.5x BG1EE installation. Here everything is fine. The numbers are: OHTEMPUS 61 L#GNLKT 62 L1VERR 63 After an EET installation the numbers of all kits are +1 but not the two of the "new" kits. Seems that is was forgotten or not taken into account to check for these things. I guess the EET adds a new column in the WEAPPROF.2DA and therefore the references of "new" kits got wrong. It is obviously a bug of EET and not one of the VerrSza mod. EET Version: ~EET/EET.TP2~ #0 #0 // EET core (resource importation): 1.0 RC12
  7. I'm working on a companion mod for Tweaks Anthology: Romance Cheats, and noticed a potential bug for Anomen with male PCs when you turn off gender restrictions: After recruiting him, his first LoveTalk should occur after a short chunk of RealTime. This happens for female PCs (tested via waiting as well as C:AdvanceRealTime(999999)), but never seems to happen for male PCs. It seems the Romance Cheats mod does correctly remove the restriction (verified with a value of 1 with C:GetGlobal("AnomenRomanceActive","GLOBAL")), but whatever trigger starts the RealTime countdown to Anomen's first LoveTalk doesn't seem to be activating for male PCs. My initial thought is his introduction dialogue when you first recruit him, which is gender specific. He refers to you as "my lady" when you approach him as a female PC with a couple of unique dialogue options. However, even with Romance Cheats active, male PCs don't get this "flirty" dialogue. Perhaps this gender check is what triggers the first LoveTalk countdown? No other romances have this, and all other same-gender romances seem to be working via Romance Cheats. Has anyone else run into/replicated this? I've done as much troubleshooting as I can think of, and only have Tweaks Anthology: Romance Cheats and the Fixpack active.
  8. Hello there, I came across this issue on my first run through the Severed Hand. I'm on the 3rd floor where you get ambushed by a bunch of skeletons and so I had my druid cast Wall of Moonlight. The spell's text says, "Evil creatures passing through the wall take 2d10 magic damage; evil undead creatures take 5d10. A creature that has passed through the wall can only take damage from it once." However when these skeletons walk through the wall I get this message, "Armored Skeleton is unaffected by Wall of Moonlight." Is this correct behavior? Shouldn't the skeletons be taking 5d10 damage? My installed mods are AB, IWD Fixpack, Improved BAM, Item Upgrade, IWD NPCs, 1pp, and widescreen.
  9. Would anyone know what I broke on my game: I installed the EE Trilogy with a few mods a few years back (2018.09.01) and so far it seemed eversything worked. I got to the last chapter, won against Bodhi, Irencius, the Solars and their ilk, and now nothing is happening. It seems that the three platforms with the pools should become accessable, but nothing. Could I ask for some help please? WeiDU.log WeiDU-BGEE.log
  10. Hi there! I have posted this issue over on the NPC Project forum and was directed here. Trying to install the NPC Project (which used to be compatible with SCS) and then the General smarter AI component of SCS crashes the weidu installer. I have included as much debugging information as I knew how to produce in my original post on the Beamdog forums. If you do not want to follow that link, I can also paste that information here. Jastey has made me aware that I was using version 32.7 of SCS, while the newest version is 32.8. I have since downloaded 32.8 from github and reproduced the exact same error. If needed, I can reproduce all the debug files with this version, but I don't think anything has changed. Should this somehow not be a bug, but rather my own screwup, then I would still appreciate any help
  11. Greetings, I have encountered a bug installing the "send NPCs to inn" part of the Tweaks Analogy. Whenever I boot out the NPCs they just stand there (like in original unmodded game) and dont go to any inn. There are also no portraits added to NPCs . I play the steam version with Siege of Dragonspear installed. I ran the modmerge before installing anything and used the cd-tweaks version 9 (downloaded it from Gibberlings three). The other mods are unfinished business and the BG 1 Npc project. I would appreciate any feedback. Kind regards P.S. I cant attach the WEIDU log so I have to copypaste it.. // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // 12. Hello, I recently got BG II:EE and imported my old original save files. Now I wasn't really aware of what I was doing, but I had to reinstall all my old mods and as I didn't know which files do what, I only exchanged the KILOVE file I found with my old one, as I assumed this one tracks how far you are with the romance (my save game is from Chapter Six). Now Kivan does have romantic dialogue triggering and has his old inventory items and all, but I couldn't hear his voice. And then he suddenly started saying weird uncharacteristic stuff...And then started talking in this primitive creepy Gollum voice. When I googled his lines I found out he is using the voice of an imp called Cespenar, that I haven't even met yet, because I haven't reached Throne of Bhaal. Does anyone have an idea why his soundfiles and dialogue are exchanged for Cespenar's? It is really creeping the hell out of me when he talks like that. It sounds as though he has been posessed by a demonic child. I recently read that there has been a bug going on in EE, where using game-foreign soundfiles causes dialogue glitching, making characters sound completely bonkers. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance Cori
  13. Hey, so I have been doing a play through with Calin and have come across a rather interesting (but annoying) issue. As soon as Chapter 4 in BG 2 EE starts, the glitch kicks and Calin is constantly trying to enter dialogue mode. Sometimes it fires and you get the dialogue options like you started talking to him, but mostly it just freezes Calin in place. You can't initiate a save because you cannot save while in dialogue mode. I have currently installed parts of NPC Flirts, Romantic Encounters, as well as Skip Chateau Irenicus. I used a modmerger, if that matters. I attempted a re-install of everything, reused the modmerger and I went back to an earlier save and played through again to Chapter 4 and experienced the same issue. Does anyone one know how I can fix this? I'm still relatively new to mods. Not sure what you need, so this is my WeiDU... // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [Subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name [ : Version] ~CALIN/CALIN.TP2~ #0 #102 // Select Calin's dialogue timer: (default is one hour; please note that only timered talks are affected by this) -> 15 minutes real time minimum between dialogues: v1.3 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #0 // Aerie, Anomen, Jaheira and Viconia React to Romantic Encounters: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #4 // An Evening with Aran, by Kulyok: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #5 // Bjornin's Desire, by jastey (adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #8 // The Gambling Cambion, by Kulyok: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #9 // Chanelle's Gifts, by cmorgan (adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #11 // Cyric's Test, by Kulyok: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #12 // A Tryst with a Pirate Lord, by Kulyok (Desharik, adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #17 // Firkraag's Unsheathed Sword: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #19 // A Walk with Garren Windspear, by Kulyok: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #21 // Hendak's Heart, by jastey: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #23 // Jarlaxle's Fascinations, by Catseye: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #25 // Laran's Promise, by berelinde (adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #31 // Renal Bloodscalp: A Dangerous Affair, by cmorgan (adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #32 // Old Ribald's Speciality, by Evaine Dian: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #33 // Sir Ryan Trawl, by Kulyok: v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #34 // Saemon, a Pirate, by Kulyok (adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #38 // Phaere's Reward, by berelinde (Talak, pleasure slave, adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #48 // Bravery or Folly? by Aeryn (Sarevok, adult content): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #49 // Blame the Moon, by Aeryn (Cernd): v12 ~RE/SETUP-RE.TP2~ #0 #54 // Date Night, by SisterVigilante: v12 ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #12 // Anomen Flirt Pack for SOA: v1.03 ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #13 // Anomen/Solaufein Romance Conflict For SOA (Solaufein V60 or greater recommended): v1.03 ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #14 // Anomen Flirt Pack for TOB: v1.03 ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #15 // Anomen/Solaufein Romance Conflict For TOB (Solaufein V60 or greater recommended): v1.03 ~SKIPCHATEAUIRENICUS/SETUP-SKIPCHATEAUIRENICUS.TP2~ #0 #0 // Skip Chateau Irenicus: 2.3 ~SKIPCHATEAUIRENICUS/SETUP-SKIPCHATEAUIRENICUS.TP2~ #0 #102 // Deal with skipped NPCs -> All available NPCs: 2.3 ~CALIN/CALIN.TP2~ #0 #0 // Calin for BG2: v1.3
  14. Hello I am writing in the name of my friend who have problems with this mod on installation level. At some point it doesn't successfully install components which ends up with characters gibberish in numbers, and even ruining sound drivers. Without the mod, game itself runs fine. I suspect the problems lies in pc itself since i used same mod version 23.3 with bg and it runs without any problems. But I am not sure as i don't have knowledge in IT, and I want to get what could be the problem, how to fix it, or at least wheres should I look to find whats wrong. More detailed: the installation crashes at part where Tiax is suppose to show up, and time between the characters banters.
  15. The installation program gives me a load of error message related to the unsuccessful parsing of some files in stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\. Examples include: [tb#_compile_eval_buffer/stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\dw2ms3ba.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 2044 column 1-41 Near Text: ) [CheckStatGT] argument [ENCHANTMENT_IMMUNITY] not found in [stats.IDS] [tb#_compile_eval_buffer/stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\dw#1tmg5.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 16999 column 1-96 Near Text: ) [CheckStatGT] argument [DW_ITEM_MM] not found in [stats.IDS] which all point to some missing items within stats.ids, and in which I actually cannot find any item such as dw_item_mm or chantment_immunity I am not sure whether it is because that I run vanilla BGT instead of EE or EET, so the program skips some files during installation-- i have no error messages when i install SCS on bgee. Or that it is an error specific to my system or my copy of bgt, or that I have not installed some pre-requisite elements. I am running vanilla BGT with but BG2 fixpack installed. I set my non-unicode language code to japanese but i doubt that matters because those items referenced in files that have parsing errors are not to be found in stats.ids in the first place. i cannot find out what enchantment_immunity or dw_item_mm mean on the net and i just want to be reassured that they wont cause problems for me. // I have also encounter a really weird glitch during my playthrough, but i am not sure whether its caused by scs, or tweak anthology components that i installed after scs, or conflicts with bg2fixpack or that it is inherent in bgt. Kagain in my party, when we are at fisherman's lake where drizzt is about, would spout whole lines from the quest completion journal entry of that quest where you go fetch a book for elvenhair....but when i reload my save he doesnt speak like that anymore.....and when i reload again (my main char died).. he again speaks....my journal entry.. after each time he speaks the party would gain and lose an item, which i cant verify what exactly it is since there are a load of loot we are carrying and also the item removed might also be that item we temporarily gained. It doesnt sound like problems caused by scs or tweak anthology since i didnt install anything that alters npc dialogues or npc location....but other than those two mods i have only fixpack and trilogy mod... // one more odd glitch that i am not sure whether its caused by scs, tweak anthology or inherent in trilogy with fixpack.... that injured hobgoblin in fisherman's lake, turns hostile as soon as he is spotted, and gives no dialogue to advance his quest. I could only find a forum thread related to this bug but its apparently for bgee instead of trilogy, so i suspect that bgee inherits this problem from adapting elements of fixpack and trilogy...but i can find no other mentions of this glitch in bgt and no fix either. SCS is the only one that changes AI behaviour so I have doubts that it could be related but i am not sure. .............here is my weidu.log............ // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The 16. As the title states, the four weapon slots component installs without error but doesn't work. This is the Steam release of IWD:EE, v2.5.17.0. edit: The component installs without error, but none of my non-fighter characters have additional weapon slots in their inventory page. My mage has 2, etc. Not in the action bar, but in the inventory page. WeiDU.log attached, and the relevant section of the debug file is: Install Component [Give Every Class/Kit Four Weapon Slots]? nstall, or [N]ot Install or [Q]uit? 17. I've installed the Anthology and after a while, I realized that some items as well as most of the proficiency does not display correct "text", instead, I am seeing quotes from various NPC. For exemple, the Mace proficiency is instead displayed as : " Heya it's me, Imoen!" in character pages. I've also tried using a save editor and again, the proficiency and items still have the strange quotes names in there. Has this happened to anyone? Can I chance that somehow? Thanks.
  18. I've got Sword Coast Stratagems installed with the "Treat mages' and priests' High-Level Abilities as innate abilities rather than memorisable spells" tweak. However, when a caster in my party reaches a level that a HLA can be selected, the HLA selection screen works as normal on the level-up screen, but in-game the abilities don't show up under the abilities tab. For Anomen, only the berserker ability is shown but not the Planetar chosen. For my Charname mage, the sequencers and Slayer ability show up, but not the Fallen Planetar I've chosen. Resting doesn't solve the problem. Is there a way using CLUA or EEKeeper to add the abilities to my casters? I'm looking for a fix to continue this playthrough with my chosen HLA's. See WeiDu for the mods I've installed. Thanks in advance for any help. WeiDU.log
  19. By weird, I mean the talks that are supposed to happen in the wilderness (like Sarah talking how she loves forests, and looking at the sky) happening inside a building in the city. While I don't know much about how BG2 mods work, I suspect the "Rest anywhere" mod might be responsible, if it changed all inside areas to be considered wildnerness (so the game would let me rest there). If that's why it happens, it's sort of not really your responsibility, but if you'd like to work on it anyway, I think I have an idea, how to do it: All areas in the game have their respective codes, like "ARxxxx" or so, right? So, would it be possible to list the specific area codes in the mod's code, for where (and only there) the talks would happen? Example of what I mean, with made up area codes since I don't know them, and mock code, since I don't know how to make mods for BG2, either: If (CurrentArea = "AR0001" or "AR0002" or "AR0354") then (Start "SarahTalk015"); (I hope it makes sense to you.) Oh, and the game version I'm playing is BG2EE from GOG.com, with "2.3.67.3 (A)" patch (that's how it's listed in GOG Galaxy). Attaching the Sarah's DEBUG file and WEIDU log, too.
