Corradun Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Are there any other websites that hosted all the tools that TeamBG did? If not I have many of the tools in the original zipped format on my computer at home and would be willing to upload here or elsewhere for people until TeamBG is up or there is a more permanent place for them. I think it would be wise if we want to keep propagating support for this community to continue support for the tools that modding is based upon. I know DLTCEP has its home at the dragonlancetc website, but there are many other useful tools out there apart from that and many of them were mainly hosted at TeamBG.
Guest Aristothenes Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I think I got them all(almost) in a frantic bout of purposelessness 2 weeks ago. Let me know...
CamDawg Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I've spoken to TheWizard, who runs the IEGMC mirror. He is willing to host the tools until TeamBG returns, though we need to get permission from the respective authors before we do so.
Corradun Posted July 26, 2004 Author Posted July 26, 2004 Here are the authors that I know of: Theo- IAPSFX Creator, IETME, WinBiff Andy- BAMWorkshop2 Gustov Montessi- IEEP I know there are others but that is what I have close to hand now.
Baronius Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Yeah those are the most important tools, here is one addition: DLTCEP - Avenger of course.
Idobek Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 DLTCEP is currently hosted at its forum: http://www.dragonlancetc.com/forums/index.php?board=9
incinerator Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 maybe you can get some tools at the teambg uk mirror: http://ukmirror.teambg.net/
Guest Sir BillyBob Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 No, the UK site is down also. At least it is right now. I need all the BAM tools if someone has them.
incinerator Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Hmm, I just checked and it is up again. AFAIK that mirror is not accessible from outside the EU. If you need any specific tools, just name them and maybe I can email them to you or put them somewhere else for you to download.
Sir BillyBob Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Oh I see, trying to keep us Yanks out of your sites, eh? I didn't know that was possible, we stick our nose into everything. Yes, if you have any of the BAM editors, please send them to joeschueler@direcway.com. Thanks.
Loriel Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Hmm, I just checked and it is up again. AFAIK that mirror is not accessible from outside the EU. It is available - I just got into it from Portland, OR USA.
icelus Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 It must depend on each user's service provider, I guess. I've not been able to access it from home via Houston RoadRunner nor at work.
