Guest Anata
Yes, I suppose I'll just ask right now and get it out in the open: Are there any thoughts on writing a Yoshimo romance component to the mod? It's the perfect setup, really and now that the player doesn't have to worry about her lover dying or betraying her (him?)... No? Am I on my own in this boat? Link to comment
Icendoan
Well, there is a Yoshimo romance in (possible) design over at SHS, and if it is ever incorporated into this mod, it will be. However, the prospective author prefers the idea of Yoshimo's death and betrayal, but has agreed to make a sort of pan-out final talk and possibly editing our betrayal talk to fit within a romance. However, at this time, KY is well, about Keeping Yoshimo, and not much else, but enough to make him feel 'included' in the game, such as the occasional banter and interjection. (And possibly a miniquest) We haven't really thought about a romance much, and, as such, you would have to talk to Lemernis at the moment (but he is currently inactive, so I am bugfixing, he should be back soon-ish). I can't write one because my writing is rubbish, except for interjections, and then only occasionally, and I don't see anything romantic about Yoshimo, but that is just me. If you play the mod and have any issues, feel free to contact me, because: a) I coded it, and I can debug it. b) You can reach Lemernis through me for any content or design faults. Guest -K'aeloree-
Deva is in the process of writing a Yoshimo romance, but it won't be included with KY, and the storyline will follow the original one from what I've heard. I'd imagine it'd be conceptually incompatible with KY, if not technically, unfortunately. Link to comment

I've been interested in a Yoshimo romance for ages. Especially a situation where he lives/is resurrected and the PC/NPCs get a chance to express how they feel about the betrayal and, if they choose, to forgive him. Possible redemption path perhaps. Still there's always room for multiple mods and romance interpretations. *mod spoiler* If you install the RE mod you get a chance to have some conversations and an encounter with Yoshimo while in Athkatla. Icendoan
KY is fully compatible with RE and RE's encounter, although there may be a different writing style and so on. (Just to make it clear) Icen Link to comment

Kaeloree
Well, a Yoshimo Friendship has been done, and a Yoshimo Romance is slowly in the works by Deva, I understand. Link to comment
Seeker
Thanx for the link I didn't know that . But what about slot ? I mean , if you install a mod , any mod that make Yoshimo stay in the party . I always know that Yoshimo will die and then Imeon will take his place in the party . So installing a mod that make Yoshimo stay for good....that mean you sacrifice that slot . That mean the usual party members I take with me from the start + Imeon...I will have to choose who to dump.... .....Annoyman gonna get kicked I wish I had more space instead of having to do NPC quest then dump them . Tougth some like Cernd *must* be kicked out or i lose my sanity lol Sorry , just rambling . Good luck with your mod Link to comment
Kaeloree
Hey, Yoshimo friendship doesn't change the fact that he dies--it just adds a friendship to before then. Only Keeping Yoshimo actually... you know, makes it so you can keep him. Link to comment
Seeker
Hum so it's a friendship mod for the the length of time you have him till he die ? because if I understand what you say , he still die . Hum Im gonna check the readme I'm all confused now lol Link to comment
Kaeloree
That's right, yes. The mod doesn't change Yoshimo's story, just adds to it. Link to comment

Good luck with your mod Well, I usually go through SoA with five characters only, so I don't have to kick anyone out when I get Sarevok in ToB. I've also done SoA with only four characters when I've got Sarevok plus another character in ToB. I guess you can do the same here. You level a bit faster with a smaller party, and it's perfectly do-able if you pic the right balance. Link to comment
Lemernis
With Keeping Yoshimo you do want to leave Athkatla with only 5 party members (including Yoshimo), that's true. Assuming you don't want to kick someone out in Brynnlaw or Spellhold. KY has no plans whatsoever for a Yoshimo romance. We'll leave that to others. Link to comment
