Sorry the romance didn't work for you. The problem is: the moment the PC accepts his love she doesn't know about his family's reaction, and the moment they know he is devoted to her. There should be some PID options to tell him that he has no obligations and the PC is ready to let him go instead of having him decide between the things he loves, though, did you try those? Yes, after finishing the game and realizing he was never going to be allowed back into the family, I went back into a save game to try out that option. It was too far back in the game to start over from that point, though, but something I can work with in the future if I decide to go that route again. I am thinking about adding the possibility to let him travel (force him to leave the group and travel, more like it) to talk to his parents again. When he returns, he would be more settled in terms of "they are wrong, not my choice of wife". I am not sure when I'll come to that, though, and whether it would mean I'd have to rewite some of the LTs (which would be reason not to add any more content), but would be an idea to ease the "he is trapped" feeling off the PC's shoulders. After being freed from the cage, Imoen appears to try to start dialogue with the PC (stutters, stops movement, turns to face them) but no dialogue window pops up. Trying to talk to Imoen does nothing. After teleporting around the first floor she eventually stops trying to talk to me. After experimenting I found that uninstalling this mod remedies it. It also will not trigger with a male PC. Unsure if it will trigger with a female PC that was started in BGI (still in the middle of SOD) Unsure if this is a mod conflict or an error on my part in the installation order. There might be mods that could go after it, but NPC mods definitely need to go before that. I see the so called "EET Fixpack" in there, too. My assumption: you used the EE Install Tool to set up EET and then installed more mods by hand (probably because the mods aren't included in the Setup Tool) ? I won't say anything to using the EE Install Tool here, but if you do that, you need to manually deinstall the EET_End.exe before you can add mods manually (and reinstall it afterwards before playing the game). 1 hour ago, Guest sporkmclork said: Ajantis is a qt What is a "qt"? Lauriel Posted January 26, 2021 Share Posted January 26, 2021 Got the following error installing VERSION ~20~ //190616 ERROR: preprocessing APPEND_EARLY [AjantisBG2\tob\dialogue\tob_ajantis_ee_banter.D]: Failure("resource [BWILSO25.DLG] not found for 'CHAIN3'") I looked. That file (BWILSO25.DLG) isn't in my BG2 game. It managed somehow to make it over to my previous EET setup. Not sure from where. I'll just copy it from there, but thought you should know... EDIT: Got the same error for BWILSON.dlg Sorry for the mix up and posting this on the BG1 Ajantis thread. And before @Jarno Mikkolajumps on this one about the debug file-none was produced because installation was aborted when these errors popped up. He does keep one on one's toes. Quote Link to comment
