jastey
There is one fix I would like to implenent into my mod, just for the (rare, seldom, not to be expected, etc.) case that someone installs my mod without having BGII fixpack installed. To be precise it's the assignment of Imoen's banter file. I had something coded already, but compared to your code it looks rather n00bish. Can I use the BGII fixpack code instead? Link to comment
Idobek
I don't think anybody would object to that, but why not simply require the fixpack to be installed? Link to comment
CamDawg
There is one fix I would like to implenent into my mod, just for the (rare, seldom, not to be expected, etc.) case that someone installs my mod without having BGII fixpack installed. Hasn't anybody told you it's a stealth tweak pack? To be precise it's the assignment of Imoen's banter file. I had something coded already, but compared to your code it looks rather n00bish. Can I use the BGII fixpack code instead? Go for it. The code shouldn't cause any problems if it's installed more than once, but if you want to be cautious you could add a file check for Fixpack by looking for cdbehbla.pro. Link to comment
jastey
Thank you. Idobek: I will recommend it, but I personally dislike the principle of mods that need a special fix/tweak/pre mod to run properly. CamDawg: Haha. Link to comment
SimDing0
I don't think there's a problem with mods having prerequisites so long as the requirement is real rather than pretend. Link to comment
