Kerzenburgforum Gibblerings Three Baldur's Gate Mini Quests and Encounters Baldur's Gate Mini Quests and Encounters Modification (BGQE) is a mod for "vanilla" BG1 (with the add-on Tales of the Sword Coast), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET, adding several small quests and encounters to the game. Vanilla BG1 without TotSC is no longer officially supported, but it should still work for it.   5. The error message is outdated as it only refers to Modmerge and not to the DLC Merger, we should rephrase that for future releases not to stirr confusion. But: If the check integrated into the mod tells you that you need to "modmerge" your game then you *have* a problem with the game. There is the cases of false-positive of games that presumably are modmerged but are not. It is not enough to let Steam update your game to a "clean" install if it was modmerged before. You need to start with a freshly downloaded game. Or see here for a possibility to clean up your game. I can only stress that the check integrated into BG1NPC works as expected, and if it gives you a note then your game is not "modmerged" even if the tool says it run successfully.
  6. The mod updates to v4! Changes: - Brage's Sword Quest: Oublek should take Borda's Letter if shown as evidence. (until bgqe is updated this will only show if the quest "Brage's Sword" is installed via this mod.) - Brage should have valid kickout dialogue in BGII.
  7. Er, normally it's a bug in the mod. If Indira is already fully installed prior to leting EET-exe run then I do not understand that error message.
  8. Ascalon's Questpack doesn't have components. It's an all-in. Scar's Return is not a component but hidden content. That is why it doesn't have a number but is called "Bonus quest" in the readme. You need to have "Duke Eltan's Spare MinuteEltan's Spare Minute" and "Scar's Spare Time" installed to enable it as specified in the readme. Classic bug: the EET_NPC_TRANSITION function needs to be moved down in the tp2 after the compilation of the scripts. There are several mods that have this problem, this only came apparent after k4thos introduced the error message after I mentioned the problem, before these bugs remained unnoticed. In addition to the traditional two, the player may now opt to side with a group even the paladins in the party could have no objection to... or he may opt to skip the whole decision entirely and set sail for Maztica. Alternatives also offers a different way to satisfy Mae Var's demand that the protagonist steal an artifact from a temple and an alternate way to complete the Riddle of the Sewers. v14 comes with an Italian version by fedearianna and full compatibility with Imoen4Ever!   14. I do admit that I wanted to make sure this is the case and thank you for the clearification that it's the unfinshed state of the mods (which will be worked on). Reading about a general attribute of buginess for mods I am constantly updating hurts me not because I do not want to hear about bugs (on the contrary) but because it's these kind of casual statements that kind of polymorph into "commonly known facts" and stick around for years. (If you were indeed referring to bugs I'd be interested to hear about them to fix them, but since most of the mods were updated recently I wasn't sure that's what you were referring to. Which doesn't mean you don't have to expect more bugs in Brandock and Brage even after the recent update since the mods are still being worked on).
  15. A quick question: do you fear he mods to be uggy or are you referring to known bugs or did you subsume possible inconveniences (e.g. no full SoD+BGII content, no full English version) with "buginess"?
  16. You can set a variable in Volo's dialogue via ADD_TRANS_ACTION for example. Or patch his override script that it sets a global variable if NumTimesTalkedToGT(0).

  19. @Chitown Willie forgot to answer to half of your comment: The stats (including the strength) is of his original game cre file. The only difference is that there he is level 7... And that I changed his alignment to Lawful Neutral from Chaotic neutral, as I think the CN alignment was meant for his state under the influence of the cursed sword (as I do not think he would be Commander of the Guard with that alignment). If someone provides a level 2 fighter cre with his stats and the correct number of pips, I could give the install choice level2/level3 upon installation. But as I said, he should be higher than level 1.
  20. You get him later in game due to the quest (you have to find him first and rhe nerchant Borda etc.). My reasoning was that he was commander of the Nashkel Guard, so he needs to be something higher than lv 1.
