  1. More CHAIN woes in BG1: a CHAIN followed by reply options will skip all NPC interjections inbetween completely. To avoid this, the reply options have to be moved into an own dialogue state following the CHAIN. Example: This: will play ingame as: CHAIN IF ~~ THEN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumber @144 END ++ @181 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberyes + ~Gender(Player1,FEMALE)~ + @182 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberyes ++ @183 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberyes + ~Gender(Player1,MALE)~ + @184 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberyes ++ @185 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberboo ++ @186 EXTERN ~%MINSC_JOINED%~ girdleminscslumberno For the NPC interjections to show, it has to be scripted the following (adding the need of anothe dialogue line):
  2. Update to v7.0.6! -Breagar-Solaufein crossmod compiles without error message
  3. Endurium: The main problem was that I wanted to cover the rests that are triggered by scripts using "Rest()" for the party members individually (used by some mods to make sure the romantic love-night with wake-up talk isn't turned into a threesome by another resttalk or the like). For these kind of "rests" the PartyRested() trigger doesn't trigger, unfortunately. (Plus, after a real rest via "RestParty()", the familiar is refreshed anyway, so it's really only those scripted rests I am trying to detect.)
  4. It definitely is one way to make sure the creature is rested in appropriate amounts of time. It doesn't satisfy my sense of perfection, though, where I expect the following NPC to have his spells refreshed after the party rested. Thank you for the idea nontheless!
  5. Ah! Thank you very much for the info. Indeed I am working with a BGT with BG2Fixpack applied.
  6. Thank you! That was very helpful. I wonder what the bit 31 is for, actually. As I see it, COPY_EXISTING ~misc5x.itm~ ~override~ WRITE_BYTE 0x1e ((THIS BOR BIT3) BAND BNOT BIT2) BUT_ONLY would do the trick for Jaheira's alignment change to Neutral Good just fine because it's already unusable by half-orcs and that's nothing to do with an alignment change, I would say.
  7. In Jarl's Tweak Pack, one of the components offers to make Jaheira's alignment Neutral Good. This comes along with it: "Misc5X.itm" is the Harper's Pin which originally is only usable by True Neutral Fighter-Druids. The above code changes this to Neutal Good Fighter-Druids, which is great. My questions: -is the above code the optimum if it comes to tp2 coding or is there a potential compatibility issue with other possible tweaks? What I mean is, what exactly does the code do, does it only change the True Neutral to Neutral Good or does it overwrite something else, meaning would this still work if another tweak changes Jaheira's kit or even class including the appropriate usability flags of the Harper Pin, too? EDIT: I am aware that this is for BGII/BGT only, as the item is resctricted to Jaheira only for BGII:EE via some opcode not available for BGII: Am I assuming correctly that this resctriction in BGII:EE is independent on the NPC's alignment and thus not affected by alignment tweaks?

The mod adds several quests to the BG1 part (with TotSC) to the game and is compatible with BGT, BG:EE, and EET. Some are minor encounters with no further impact, but some are larger quests that are also partly connected to each other. One large quest is given to you by Duke Eltan (before you go to Candlekeep). One of the longest quests also starts before Candlekeep: Talk to the lady outside the Sorceror's Sundries. One quest can be started by talking to Yness in Ulgoth's Beard. 11. Sir Ajantis NPC for BGII Language: German, English This modification introduces Ajantis, the known BG1 NPC, paladin of the Order of the Radiant Heart into the SoA and ToB part of the game. It is compatible with BGII, BGT, BGII:EE, and EET. With this modification Ajantis can be acquired as a member of the PC's group after the fight in the Windspear Hills (which was not changed by the mod principally). The player must first solve a quest to free Ajantis from Firkraag's ransom. The modification contains a fully developed engaged romance path, which continues the Ajantis Romance from the BG1 NPC Project, a new beginnings romance, and a friendship path. Contentwise, the mod assumes that Ajantis travelled with the PC in BG1 for some time. It was there that Ajantis gained enough honor to be knighted. For EET and BGT in a continuous game Ajantis will not spawn in BGII if he died in BG1 or never joined the goup. In ToB, Ajantis will not travel with an evil aligned PC. For the EE games (BGII:EE and EET) the second optional component will install the BeamDog inventory BAM for Ajantis' family shield (green dragon on golden ground). If not installed, the BG1NPC Project shield graphic will be used. A third optional component will install crossmod content included into this mod. SUMMARY OF CONTENT Quest "searching for Ajantis" with custom indoor area More event triggered dialogues Interjections to game events At Garren's place, the PC and Ajantis will meet Eila, Garren's niece who knows Ajantis from their childhood. To this, a small quest will start later in the Government District. Ajantis has at least two banters with every non-evil BioWare NPC. With some evil-aligned NPCs, he has only one. Ajantis will not stay in the group with Dorn or Hexxat. Ajantis has his family shield (from BG1 romance), which can be upgraded by Cromwell and Cespenar. The first Mae'Var quest, stealing from a temple, was extended so the item doesn't have to be stolen to finish it. Just talk directly to the highest priest in the temple (Wheathermistress Ada / Dawnmaster Kreel). This quest extension is available independently on whether Ajantis is in the party. The mod Alternatives offers the same content, the mods are compatible. It is compatible with original ("vanilla") Baldur’s Gate 1:TotSC, Tutu, Baldur’s Gate Trilogy (BGT), Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition (BG:EE), and Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET). For original BG1:TotSC, the mod adds a friendship track and the BG1NPC Project romance for Ajantis. The original BG1NPC Project romance was adjusted slightly with regard to the restrictions of the BG1 engine, although overall the content stayed the same. For Tutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET, the mod adds a friendship track and more romance content for the BG1NPC Project romance for Ajantis. Content-wise, the mod is meant as an addition to the BG1NPC Project, but technically it can be installed and played without the BG1NPC Project. If the player started and interrupted Ajantis's BG1NPC Project romance, the friendship sequence should initiate after that depending on how far the romance went. If you do not have the BG1NPC Project installed, the friendship talks become available immediately. For BG:EE and EET there is a second, independent component with the option to use the existent BG:EE BAM for Ajantis' shield (green dragon on golden ground), if BG1NPC is installed. Mod Page Download at G3 Download at Kerzenburgforum ----- Jastey's Ajantis Portrait Pack The Mod gives a choice of custom portraits for Ajantis. The Ajantis Portrait Pack is compatible with BG1, TotSC, BGT, Tutu, BG:EE, BGII:EE, and EET. It detects the game install automatically. For the BGII part of the game, the portrait is meant for the Sir Ajantis NPC for BGII mod, but can be installed independently. NOTE: For all games, the portraits have the same naming convention as the BG1 default portrait since with v15 and up, the Sir Ajantis for BGII mod uses the game portrait (which is also present in all BG2 games). This means, that if you installed an Ajantis portrait from another source the same portrait will be used as well in the BGII part of the game without need of further action. Many thanks to the artists for granting permition to include them as alternatives for Ajantis: Amaurea, Azguz aka Azze, berelinde, Casul, Catlepha, Miloch, Plasmocat, Senka and wonnimchunha! 17. With StefanO's help the bug is fixed in the new version: the mod updates to v17. Thank you very much for the report! Changes are: -(crossmod) fixed stutter bug for crossmod with Alternatives Mod -changed StartDialog("Player1",Player1) to StartDialogOverride("Player1",Player1) (probably didn't cause any bugs because "player1" is the supposed dialogue file for Player1, anyway)
  18. Hi StefanO, best you send me your safegame to jastey at web.de and tell me what game you are on and which version of Ajantis BGII. You are encountering the classic stutter bug, where the script tries to fire a dialogue repeatedly but no dialogue with the matching variable is present so it triggers the PID instead.
