  1. But would that be hard for me as a lay person to fix for SR? In my next playthrough I might give SRR a chance. Dm just overshadows all other dispel options, which sucks.
  2. I tried finding readme for SRR but after a few minutes I decided I'll just ask you. DM and RM in SRR don't work by underlevel/overlevel percentage bonuses, but rather, ST penalties are implemented? Is that explained in more detail anywhere? I also really hate original/SR Dispel Magic. If only SR came with a possibility to tweak this one spell. And maybe MGoI and GoI like you have it in SRR. Thanks for your answers.

  4. @Bartimaeus You know this talk about petrification breaking banters and romances permanently? Surely there must be a way to reset a character with a console? Roleplaywise, it's just a memory loss. Also, using SR, I've encountered Ajantis, while being protected from petrification, had a color change (to grey-brown) after being repeatedly hit by a basilisk gaze. Sometime later, his colors reverted. I'd like to clarify something. I know that in SR, Break Enchantment rids your party member of the petrified form. Could Stone to Flesh also be used, or a scroll of the same action? Could Break Enchantment be cast before petrification takes full effect (3 rounds), and still work? What if you cast Prot From Petr during that time?

  6. Wow! Sounds great! I take it this is only a feature of SRR. And so, what can be done with SR? When installing SR, is it possible to leave Petrification at vanilla version? I don't care that much about breaking romances, and it seems stone to flesh loses all utility within the party. Thanks for your answers. Or anyone's!
  7. @subtledoctor I just found out that the scroll Protection from Alteration(s) doesn't protect from the basilisk's gaze. My fighter was able to save vs gaze several times but eventually got held. I play the version of the spells where you aren't really ever turned to stone. Is the function of the scroll intentional? Thanks!
  8. Indeed! Good catch How did you confirm that so quickly? Do you ctrl+J around the game? Or do you just go to ToB, console in the staff, console in the golem? Or is there an .ini that you check?
  9. Wonderful! Thanks! I downloaded it now. Just to be clear. I download IR, then copy your fixes (files and folders) over IR, then install? One fix says "ammo stacks = 80 in EEs". That won't conflict with my settings of 120, right? There are two problems I discovered with IR: Malakar's Companion looks like a short sword and has 1d8 instead of 1d10. Cleric's staff +3 doesn't seem to hit as a +3 weapon. I couldn't hit adamantite golem.

  11. YES! Exactly like the last time on my old PC. You helped me back then, too. I didn't have this file after switching to a new PC. Thank you. After pasting it into override folder and starting up my game again, the existing two potions of Marek changed in looks, they became exactly as in my previous playthrough, and after drinking it, the quest was completed. It seems my installation always needs your file. @subtledoctor, here's what I was able to gather from the change-log of IR. I don't have IRR. TO DO LIST - ... - ... V4 - Beta 10 (20 June 2017) - Obsidian Ioun stone tweaked not to allow going below 0 HP etc etc... I can say that under TO DO LIST, there are things I definitely don't have in my game, and below that the version says 2017. Maybe Mod Installation Tool used the latest official version, but there are unofficial ones that fixed lots of things, including this one? Anyway, I now have to keep Bart's file!!! EDIT: Thanks for saving my no-reload EET playthrough, Bart. EDIT: One thing I remember, though, is that your version of Marek's antidote doesn't heal any other poison, so the other nine uses can only be sold or dropped. EDIT: Or drunk for the kicks.
  12. I have this potn47 item in these four folders: EET_Fix, item_rev, override, weidu_external\cdtweaks
  13. Now I also consoled it in with C:CreateItem("POTN47") but to no avail. It's interesting how I had the same problem a year ago. Must be that a certain mod corrupts that item and it needs to be replaced in the folder. That's my thoughts now.
  14. I EEKeepered it in, and it didn't work. I already had POTN47 in my inventory, and now I have two stacks.
  15. Hi! Again, I know this is SR/R, but awhile ago, in my other installation, Marek's antidote didn't work. @Bartimaeus sent me an itm file for it and when I drank it, that made my quest complete and I was healed. Only the protagonist had to drink it, though you're always given 10 potions. This time, the potion Marek drop doesn't work again. I still have Lothander's half. They don't combine. I had all my party members drink it, yet no Journal change. Should I EEKeeper in Marek's potion? Should I try finding the itm file @Bartimaeus sent me over a year ago? Is this a problem with IR? Thanks, guys.

  17. "allowing the wearer to became" Dav just straight up revealed Monty. I tried it two or three times. And then he started to attack him in melee, since at that point, Dav was out of spells. Monty's invisibility was due to Hide in Shadows. Is HiS different from spells II or I? Maybe that's the culprit. But I can't say if the problem is with the cloak or DI spell. This is where your help would be indispensable. You're the best. Share share share. You're putting it under your misc mods? Let's see what Bart is gonna say/do
  18. Just one? Which one might that be? I do. And if someone finds it cheesy, it's so easy to avoid. Just never carry normal weapons with you from BG2 onward. You might need them for Watcher's keep, but that's it. Letting non-magical weapons hit might be intentional because non-caster parties would have better chances of winning battles against mages.
  19. Hi. Is it intentional that Detect Invisibility goes through the Cloak of Non-Detection? Davaeorn is able to see detect Monty wearing Gurke's cloak. Also, the description of the cloak has a typo.
  20. Ahhhh, I see. I brought up the same topic of PfMW protecting from normal weapons a while ago. It was said the updated SR doesn't do it but it seems it does. So now I won't be able to cheese casters with normal weapons. :F
  21. Exactly. And only the protagonist can cast it. So from now on, I'm staying away from it. It think it unbalances the game. I solved by situation via EEKeeper. I guess you're not satisfied how this spell is handled even in SRR, right? If there was no boost in HP and no CON loss, then this might be an okay balanced spell.
  22. Hi guys. Might be offtopic. My familiar died a long time ago. Yet my CON is still -1. The number is red. EEKeeper tells me my CON is 15, ingame I have a red 14. Shouldn't this take only a week? Granted, during this period, I've used EEKeeper a few times and saved an edited savefile. I hope that didn't mess up the one week counter. Should I flag or unflag something? If anyone knows how to help me get my CON back, I'll be grateful. I think it's been way over a week, especially when you include travelling that takes even 24 hours. Okay, under "effects" in EEKeeper, I do have -1 to CON. Since I haven't got it back in all this time, is it safe to just revert it to 0 and just keep on playing? I'm just pretty sure I selected the option that the CON returns after 1 week. Just trying to figure out what is going on.

Two mods didn't want to be detected so I had to provide files myself and force the program to use those.
