  1. Are you saying that code from RevisedSCS branch can be installed regardless SR installed or not? I highly doubt that DavidW will do this. He recently wrote that lot of SR design choices are not as want. Besides it's a lot of work and only the person who knows SR inside-out should do this.
  2. Yes, unless the RevisedSCS changes will be introduced to SCS and applied only when SR will be detected.
  3. It's here https://github.com/Gibberlings3/SwordCoastStratagems/commit/1efe9b4efaeb5847c299a573506ea51c94bb2c1f and RC3 contains it
  4. Yes, fix/commit was included for master but not for RevisedSCS. Also, I wanted to avoid confusion when somebody will look at the Network graph and see 'this tiny lite commit' outside of the main branch. Keep up good work!
  5. @Mad Mate I notice that you pushed this commit after I accepted PR#3. So this part of the fixes are missing as you can see here: https://github.com/Gibberlings3/SwordCoastStratagems/network Please create new PR so this fix can be added.
  6. Well, the first version of "Create New Github Release" is here: https://github.com/InfinityMods/ModRelease
  7. Such "automation" would require additional coding and BWS is feature-freeze. If any "community tool" should do it, it's rather Fixpack than BWS. But even with Fixpack, people will miss this fix if it isn't directly inside mod. I will update mod directly. And any feedback/bug report regarding Ascension will be listen. EDIT: DS updated
  8. Because when you install 50+ mods and SCS, there is a huge chance that revert process will fail. I encounter such situation many times, especially when I used big mods for BGT. It has been improved for EE but if it happens only once, you need to restore full game.
  9. @NdranC That's too lite amount of information, please post you weidu.log, game version.
  10. What do you mean? You are asking about feature to be able to uninstall mods or it's a suggestion to ask people how they uninstall mods?
  11. Fix merged, thanks Mad Mate! Bartimaeultlessly
  12. It's because of the forum engine bug :/
  13. 1. If you don't create backup, it means that you reinstall games after mods installation = "I rely only on Beamdog/Steam "Restore" or GoG as backups" 2. Use "I'm not concerned about mod categories at all" aka "I don't care" 3. No question is os-depended, linux and mac users always choose "no BWS" choices or post comments 4. Yes, but they can choose "I don't use BWS for conflicts solving"
  14. Use https://github.com/Gibberlings3/SwordCoastStratagems/releases/latest
  15. I assume you mean the BWPFixpack. If I read "Fixpack" I think of the BG2 Fixpack, so maybe this needs to be made clearer? Fully agree, thanks for feedback. Question was updated
  16. Hello fellow adventurers, in order to make installing mods a better experience, I need feedback from you. So no matter if you install 1 mods with 3 components, 5 mods with 25 components or 100 mods with 1000 components, please fill this poll, so I could gather some info about installation of mods for IE games. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16dH_cOUmhZ3iPFTwkJS9W_W7mUEr92IWZ9FxeKQb3h4 I would be grateful if this poll will get attention
  17. @HuoYuhao If you want to get any answer for such question, please post weidu.log
  18. Test installation of SCS 31 RC2 for clean BG2EE: Errors:
  19. I'm not good at explaining things to people which I already know because everything appears simple for me. But because of this great piece of work, I'm goona try to create a script which will basically: - read VERSION from tp2 - check if there is a release with exactly the same version, skip if it found it - if not, make a new Git tag, push it and create new Github release Just give me some time, I'm currently busy with 3 projects at once.
  20. @DavidW I'm sure that any improvements which you will make for "small/medium BG2 installation" will have positive impact for larger installation.
  21. So by the time they will introduce such "Group Wiki" feature, you can start searching for a system which will be better suit for you needs, or find someone who will build you a custom site, or build it on you own. You won't be limited at all.
  22. I have to agree, you manage to overcome "forks" problem even without "Disable Forks" GitLab feature - you simply change permissions That was creative thinking, good job Still, two renaming issue are still valid. Never say "never". But if what you say is true, then the problem which you are dealing with cannot be solved because: this won't happen ever because you are adding "yet another site to post info". I won't report all my new Github repositories with tools to this list because I don't have time for that. It is similar to Steam Workshop mods - people ask authors to mirror their mods to NexusMods, some of them do it, some of them not because they not only have to release mod twice but also don't see benefit. So far I only see limitation of you list because you can't add non-github mods. You need to stop looking at GitLab because it's not the right tool for things you want to do. I don't know any service which might help you but I'm not web technology expert.
  23. Thanks for newer ending improvements!
