  1. Now, it's time to pinpoint what may be causing the transparent class selection screen. I suspects it might be the huge number of kits, so I'll do some testing with kit mods. Starting with FnP, MnG. Then adding ToB and WtP. Will report when I got some news.
  2. Are you able to change it after the 1st cutscene? I can do it only when I run the game, before creating new character.... I really don't know what's going on, tried everything The only think I can do to test it more is to remove each component one by one and try again....
  3. I think I've read somwhere that characters limit for EE's is 7 not 8 as it's in vanilla. But don't quote me on it.
  4. Can it be an incompatibility between Mods Options component of EEUI Tweaks and Reveal Hidden Options mod? In Reveal Hidden Options readme it's specifically stated that RHO is not compatible with Hidden Game Options component of EEUI Tweaks (which I didn't install), but it doesn't say anything about Mods Options component.
  5. Actually I would like it to be consistent, so it's good to now, it's working like that But your project looks very interesting.
  6. I'd say this could be another crashing case with EEex. Calling @Bubb. Could you attach crash dump files?
  7. @lefreut @subtledoctor @argent77 Ok did some UI testing on clean BG2EE regarding blank proficiencies issue 1. LeUI + SoB -> Proficiencies show up correctly, no unused proficiencies visible 2. LeUI + EEUI Tweaks + SoB -> Proficiencies show up correctly, no unused proficiencies visible 3. LeUI + EEUI Tweaks + Reveal Hidden Options + SoB -> Proficiencies show up correctly, no unused proficiencies visible So it does not seem to be an incompatibility issue between SoB and UI mods I'm using. I'm starting to get suspicion this might be an EET doing. Will do the same test on EET. Also did some testing on clean BG2EE regarding non-clicable options. 1. Only Reveal Hidden Options -> Everything works fine. I can change options in game. 2. LeUI + Reveal Hidden Options (in that order) -> Everything works fine. I can change options in game. 3. EEUI Tweaks + Reveal Hidden Options (in that order) -> Everything works fine. I can change options in game. 4. Reveal Hidden Options + EEUI Tweaks (in that order) -> I cannot change any option while in game. I can only do it before starting a game. 5. LeUI + EEUI Tweaks + Reveal Hidden Options (in that order) -> I cannot change any option while in game. I can only do it before starting a game. 6. LeUI + Reveal Hidden Options + EEUI Tweaks (in that order) -> I cannot change any option while in game. I can only do it before starting a game. 7. Reveal Hidden Options + LeUI + EEUI Tweaks (in that order) -> There are no options from Reveal Hidden Options, so it has to go after LeUI. Ok, this is strange. Those tests show up that Reveal Hidden Options is compatible with LeUI and EEUI Tweaks alone, but in combination with both LeUI and EEUI Tweaks it doesn't work. Here are exact components from each mod I have installed:
  8. Yeah, you're right. Clean BG2EE + SoB @lefreut any idea if LeUI or EEUI could force unused proficiencies to show up on Prooficiency selection screen? If yes, are you able to fix it somehow?
  9. Didn't check abilities. Have you tried either of those WS revisions on your end? Does it work? Are description ok? I really wanted to give WS kit to Valygar, boo
  10. Ok, offical WTF now. I can't seem to get either WSR or Relieve Wizard Slayer to work. Combinations I tried so far: - WSR on clean EET (only EET core and EET_end) -> installed successfuly but description is still vanilla - RWS on clean EET (only EET core and EET_end) -> installed successfuly but description is still vanilla - RWS on clean BG2EE (no other mods) -> installed successfuly but description is still vanilla What am I missing here?
  11. Which version of EEex do you use? @Bubb released new version yesterday, which fixes some reported crashes (but I think those crashes popped up after opening an inventory).
  12. @4udr4n hmm strange, I think I managed to run the game to the point of showing up before Candlekeep Inn with modded Dragon Disciple and one of the psion kits without crashes. I certainly didn't try any kit installed, though.
  13. Did you run the game via EEex.exe? Crashes are expected if you install EEex and run the game via regular exe.
  14. Hmm it doesn't seem Wizard Slayer Rebalancing is working at all on EET. I just installed it on clean EET and although installed correctly, WS description on Character screen remained vanilla. I'll try Relieve Wizard Slayer. If this works I'll switch completely to @Raduziel's creation.
  15. It's possible, I would need @lefreut's insight to figure it out, though. Looking at the components list I don't see any specific that could impact Class Selection screen, but I wouldn't be sure. For the non-selectable options issue I wonder, maybe I need to install @argent77's Reveal Hidden Options before EEUI Tweaks. What do you think guys? For the Level progression bars I would like the to look like at this picture. I see there are some Options in Mods Options tab. Do I need to change something there to adjust the portrait and level progression bars to look like at the picture below?
  16. Ah, I think I get it. Those are the ones that ar blank in SoB? Basically those are unused after installing SoB? If I'm correct I wonder if it's possible to hide them somehow from the Proficiency screen selection to not look so jarring. Or I can just change the blank names to something else, but that would mean just that, changing the name to remove the dots. It still won't be usable, right?
  17. Ok, but what do you think may csusing the blank proficiencies? The little triple dot thingy?
  18. I see, thanks. You ma want to put this info in ReadMe, @subtledoctor. There is no indicaation there, that Revised Kenasi component is deprecated.
  19. Ok, I finally fired up the last test install and all the issues I reported inconherently are still there. As promised, no rage quiting this time, reports incoming! My install order is in the spoiler tag at the bottom of the post. @lefreut 1. This is the opaque effect of Class selecion screen I've mentioned before. It must be some intereference with other mods, because installing LeUI on clean EET does not produce such an effect. Maybe it's because a lot of class/kit mods installed? 2. Also the issue that I cannot channge any option from Options menu after I start the game. I click on the "gem" button but nothing changes. 3. When I click on the portrait to see level progress bar, it's like this. Doesn't look well. Seeing the picture at didicated topic in BD forums it should look differently. @subtledoctor Here are the proficiencies selection screen (not installed your tweak yet, that's for another test install). As I've wrote before, some proficiencies are blank, other have different name on the main screen and different in description bar. This looks like two mods interfere, but I installed only SoB and the option from Tweaks Anthology that should be compatible with SoB. On this screen you can see both issues (blank proficiencies) and naming discrepancy for Spear / Halberd proficiency (it's called Polearms in description screen) Here another one, club/mace is just a club in description screen. And here is my install order:
  20. Huh, it ocuured to me now while I'll testing the game, that Revised Kensai component did not install. I've checked PI if I missed it and it seems it isn't there to select. It's component 260 which is missing on the list of components to select. @subtledoctor @ALien any idea why?
  21. Yes, I believe you should use EEex.exe shortcut. PI will automatically change the executive file to EEex. You can run the game from within PI, notice that icon changed from BG2EE to the one used by EEex.
  22. These were the warnings, this component was installed, but with warnings. I've reported it in SCS thread, so you can check if you've got the same.
