TotalMilk90
Is there any mod out there that adds this mechanic, or is there a way it could be done using Near Infinity? Is it even possible to implement? I thought maybe adding a PICK_POCKETS line to the XPBONUS.2DA would work but that was just wishful thinking. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
temnix
It would be nice, wouldn't it? But no. It would have to be hard-coded, which it isn't. And there is no script condition for a successful steal. Quote Link to comment
TotalMilk90
Aww man that’s sad to hear. Would have been such a cool thing to have. Quote Link to comment
Frenzgyn
'Course it's hardcoded, but back in the days (2009?) Brendan Casey aka scient on SHSForums made some engine fixes used by Qwinn in his PS:T fixpack, there was also a "Pickpocketfailed()" function to trigger a few Eli Havelock's unfinished reactions, which is present in the Iengine, but utterly broken. It always pissed me off that Beamdog never fixed that it in EE. I wonder if I will be ever possible for EEex to do some magic... Edited June 17, 2022 by Frenzgyn Quote Link to comment
Jazira
Honestly, that's a good idea. I would probably use such tweak. Quote Link to comment
lynx
I've added it to GemRB with 3 lines of code, so it should be relatively easy to hack in through dll injection etc. as well. Quote Link to comment
