  11. Update: ToB testing squashed some bugs, and translations are moving foreward (albeit slowly). (Just to let you know this is not abandoned).

But no need to let this story be heard by everyone. Ahem.~

  14. Hi berelinde, not really a bug, but in the setup.tra, line @3 reads: The date seems to be a leftover.? Another one in the setup.tra: I suggest re-moving this back into the setup.tp2, as it soesn't need to be translated.

  17. Thank you for reporting! I can't check until tomorrow, but this sounds a lot like the setup-lines were used instead of the correct text lines for this during the installation. If this is the case, it will be fixed in the next update and thank you for letting know. The encounter is just a greeting between the two, as Ajantis' family knows the Windspear one, but not really a foreshadowing of any kind (only the mentioning of a relative that might make an appearance in BGII).
  18. Indeed, I completely forgot about him! ...But he doesn't have the kind of item, either. I need a medium shield +2. I guess I'll add one to Amkethran Tavern, and let the player decide how to use it.
  19. I'd have to check the wares of those, yes. But all of them are no longer available at the game state I am in now, so Amkethran tavern is the only one remaining (that and the seller at Watcher's Keep).
  20. I will! Alphatesting progresses. I moved 4 dialogues from Ajantis-initiated into the PID section - triggering dialogues in ToB is difficult, as events flow so tight, the dialogues usually start at unvaforable situations, or at times where the PC faces something completely new and talking about recent events seems kind of odd. Found and fixed several bugs including misplaced interjections (BioWare crew does not interject at the most striking points - a lot of the existing ones some players never get to see, dependning on dialogue paths chosen. A pity) Than I realized there is no good merchant in ToB? Will probably add the item needed for the Ajantis' shield upgrade to the Amkethran tavern.
  21. Absolutely! I am still doing the first alpha testrun and will be not available the coming week. As soon as I finished the very first run-through I'll link you to it, but it's probably not before the 10th of February (linking anything earlier would only lead to you encountering bugs and me not being there to fix them.) Thank you very much for volunteering!

Well, I guess you could reinstall, and the savegames aren't affected by an update, but it could be that there is text-mixups, then, so re-modding and using old savegames is not recommended for BG(II):EE. And, my suggestion is to copy the whole game to another folder (preferably one that is not in the "programs" Windows folder), and install the mods there. Then the original install can be updated and the modded game can still be finished without worries.
  23. Thank you! Modding BG(II):EE is only a little bit more frightening because you have to chose the language you want to play teh mod in, first - and then remember that every official game update wipes your install clean (of any mods). It's not too far from modding the classic games, though!
  24. ToB progress update: Content is finished unless I notice something while testing. The alpha version installs without warnings. (In the game, Ajantis didn't talk to me, though. ..) Language is still the German-English mix. After a first round of alpha testing, I will finish the two language versions (experience tells this will take a while). In case someone wants to alpha test and has no problems with partially German text, let me know!
