  4. Sorry for the trouble. I posted an incompatibility report into the Widescreen mod forum, that is all I can do currently.

  6. I don't think I can sort anything because I have no idea how Widescreen works. All I can point out is that I use in many mods the trick that I re-use tis-files existant in the game without copying them by using custom are and wed-files (and the three needed bmps) with different-named tis-files and it works*. No idea what Widescreen expects but the thing is it's not only c#lc03.tis but a lot more areas so I'd be surprised if you won't get more "error" messages for missing tis-files with Widescreen. Jarno: The code you posted is the naming of the relevant tis-file because it is different for the different BG1 games. * Like in bg1re and Ajantis BGII
  7. I am surprised it doesn't say so in the Widescreen Readme. Sorry to hear about your troubles! But good to know there are still classic BG players. Just a heads up: bg1re is not supported for vanilla BG, only for BG:TotSC. EDIT: I checked and the area works fine for my BG:TotSC install.

  9. Please post any bugs or typos here. Make sure to specifiy the game you are playing (BG1, Tutu, BGT, or BG:EE) and which version of the mod (Windows, Mac, Linux). If possible, please post your WeiDU.log so I can see which other mods were installed.
  10. This is a very nice way of explaining how the stutter bug works. I always start explaining with saying things like "the dialogue file is being checked for a true dialogue from top to bottom" and "missing check variable" which presumably is too much tech babble for someone not into modding.

  12. ...This is what my BG1 game suddenly displayed on the game menue (This happened in 2012. I posted this elsewhere before, but for some reason am unable to find the thread, so I post it anew, because this is the forum it belongs!). I was using a (so I thought) unmodded dialog.tlk to restore my vanilla BG1 game, but as it seems it was a modded BG1 dialog.tlk I put into the game folder, because I have absolutely no other explanation for this. (It's a line from the Ajantis romance.) This is not a fake!!! Imagine my surprise, and joy when encountering this! Take a close look at the picture and enjoy! I think all these years I spent working on the game with the honest desire to improve it, it just decided to give something back.

  14. All the Ajantis mod does to Valygar's dialogue is introducing banters between Valygar and Ajantis, so I don't think it is. EDIT: No, it is definietly not, Ajantis mod does not interject into Valygar.dlg state 43. As much as I appreciate bug reports, I don't really see why you posted this here after you identified with a changelog that the Ajantis mod did not change the valygar.dlg? I did a thorough look, though, nontheless.

  16. Oh, that's an oversight from me then. Thank you for reporting! I'll either include a check or hold the dialogue back until the PC went to the Pocket Plane, first.
  17. Hello and thank you for volunteering! I would ask you to get in contact with Zed Nocear and Cahir, though, as one of them said he would work on it (to prevent double work). If you download the v9 from the downloads page: http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=698 The old Polish files are in bgqe/tra/polski - you should be able to use them as they are, except for the lines mentioned here - but double check would be best, I think, as I had to adjust some lines for the new quest flow in some instances. These files you'd have to compare to the current version in bgqe/tra/classic/english (ignore the folder "utf8"). You'd have to compare every file for new content, as well as look for new files alltogether. -Send the files to me in the correct BGII ANSI encoding. Thank you very much in advance!

  19. Hello, I have some management problems concerning testing forums so I decided to make this an open beta. If you encounter any problems or have any feed back, let me know. Thank you for your interest in Ajantis BGII! [Download removed. v12 is out on the Mod's Homepage Changes are: -ToB content added. -added two lines for an Ajantis-Jaheira banter, to make it content-compatible with a Solaufein-Jaheira banter of my Solaufein mod. -removed DialogInterrupt(TRUE) to prevent player to interrupt Lord Enderol's transition to the prison (and Garren's spawning) - thank you Linguist in Training for the fix! -reaction to Wellyn: Ajantis should comment now, and he should not if he wasn't in the party when the PC helped Wellyn -tweaked his leaving action so he won't walk through the hopscotch of doom when revised after the Vampire incident (romance case) -revised Ajantis' hell trial reactions to make them compatible with Quest Pack "Revised Hell Trials". Ajantis will still complain about one evil choice, but will only go further if alignment change did take place. He will no longer leave the group in romance case. -added check to romance gender detection to exclude girdle of gender bender -HANDLE_CHARSETS now handles the utf-8 encoding (only one set ot tras) -update to WeiDU v237 Still known issues: -in the outer area of Firkraag's hidden enclave, there is still the exit to the worldmap at the area corners. Do not exit the quest area to the worldmap. This is an oversight I will fix in a later version.
  20. Just realized (with help from Twani) that the engaged path in BGII:EE now has three other NPC romances to withstand (or end it)... I should probably give Rasaad at least some nice ways of ending the romance. I mean for the PC, of course. Thank you for drawing my attention to this! EDIT: And ToB testing is progressing. If anyone is still interested, let me know.
