  1. Damn when you finally get GemRB working for Windows 7 and move to Win 10 and it is all over and from the scratch again. The 72 line says : StartWindow = GemRB.LoadWindow(7) I dunno how to fix it. I installed Python 27 32 bit. On Win 10 computer GemRB with my old mega installation from laptop works normally without issues other than lagging I mentioned before. Only the newly installed BG2 (unmodded) on Win 10 computer gives me black screen. Screen turns black after logo/intro videos/before the main menu.
  2. What mod do you use alternative for Sword Coast Stratagems? BG II enemies are pretty dumb and it is easy to outsmart their cavemen tactics. Btw how do you increase default framerate of 30 in GemRB? DrawFPS=60 this value in gemrb.cfg doesn't seem to have any effect neither 40 nor 50. On the flip side I am surprised why generalized biffing didn't work for GemRB. With my mega installation listed in the Wiedu log - first post the game was lagging but as soon as I installed generalized biffing the lag disappear. I wonder why biffing doesn't work for GemRB if it could work it would solve a lot of performance issues with mods.
  3. CBGONOBL.D from version v1.13 In both directories of BG II the diffs folder is empty - the one where I managed to successfully install 10pp mod (no SoS mod installed) and the other one where I have SoS and am unable to install 10pp. Replacing the code in CBGONOBL.D from 1.14 v didn't help preventing the error when installing 10pp. How do I get the files in diffs? I tried to install ( unsuccessfully)10pp but it did not yield any files in diffs folder.
  4. I got the word from WoBG expert dude (dradiel at http://baldur.cob-bg.pl/) and he told me that without Tobex the game on mega installations becomes unplayable immediately starting new game or in mid play-through. Is there way for GemRB and Tobex to run together? He also mentioned to avoid mods injecting blocks of scripts into baldur.bsc especially when they contain triggers HasItem or PartyHasItem ([Detectable spells (required for most other components] - component from SCS). He also mentioned vanilla lag issue even on unmoded game occurs when system play too much ambient sounds. Looks like currently the only thing I can do is to cut down on my mega installation and pick few especial mods to go with.
  5. I got my PC today. I am moving to windows 10 and have compatibility issues with BG2. As soon as I deal with them I will provide necessary files.
  6. I am unable find the file in the game directory. What does this file do? ////Edit: http://www.shsforums.net/topic/59809-baldurbcs-with-sod-installed/ Interesting small query on baldur.bcs lead us again to mod called Shadow Over Soubar mod SoS won't let install 10person party mod and it uses baldur.bcs which likely casues this lag. Also I have installed component ~SETUP-SOS.TP2~ #0 #1 // Remorhaz walking speed adjustment (for ENGLISH version .EXE ONLY!!!): 1.13 It could be messing up animations and cause lag in GemRB. I will go over and reinstall game and mods from scratch leaving Shadow over Soubar out of my mod list.
  7. http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/63-shadows-over-soubar-v113/ *** SHADOWS OVER SOUBAR *** *** V1.13 (WeiDU v206) I removed this file (and any of it extensions .cre & .tra) from all subdirectories and still get the error. It ends up back in 10pp/temp folder. I also get incorrect syntax thingy too I forgot to mention. ////////EDIT: Yep. Shadow over Soubar is the culprit. I had one Baldur's Gate II directory with mods installed without SoS in my mod list. 10 person party mod installed just fine. But SoS seems not to be culprit for lagging in GemRB. My GemRB Baldur's Gate II was still lagging.
  8. I am unable to install 10 person party mod. GemRB althought with lagging and some animations glitches works without crashes I completed almost entire Irenicus cheatu. Now I am at the crossroad without 10pp mod because Kachioko and Dritz wants to join me and my party is already full with Wulfgar in it (plus Jaheria, Minsc, Imoen and Yoshimo). Error: SETUP-10PP.DEBUG log
  9. Weidu log Does mod amount impact the performance of GemRB? When I run Baldur's Gate II (Classic PC version) under GemRB I see considerable script lag. I can hear music playing during loading screen. All NPCs takes 3-5 seconds to appear on the map after loading screen. NPCs move slowly like they had something muddy in their pants. Spell casting and fighting lags. Is there way to optimize things in GemRB? I have already installed generalized biffing. Within one week I willing be getting a new PC with good quality CPU and GPU. Maybe that will help? Intel® Core™ Processor i9-7940X & GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti. Right now I am using 2009 laptop with Geforce 9800M GTS and Intel Core Duo P8700 2.53 GHz. Normal vanilla BG II without GemRB runs perfectly without lag.
  10. Last update for Lord Mirabbloo Imoen Romance mod is from Version 4 - August 24, 2005. That version of Imoen Romance was picked by Vanatos and finished with TOB content after 2010. I want to install Crossbanter mod with romance conflict and Imoen Romance mod. In what order should I install those mods and which components to skip/install to avoid the conflicts?
  11. Wow got it running finaly and even without GemRB.cfg in my directory! I only have GemRB.cfg.sample in the directory. But how do I get sound? I have no sound in Baldur's Gate II when running GemRB.exe I had too much junk in my folder so I restored my game directory prior to installing Divine Remixes mod. I think I was getting crash because I had too much junk but it could be possible that one of the components from Anthology Tweaks was messing something e.g. I had tweaks like Fighter- Druid has no restrictions on weapons for example. WeiDU log:
  12. Please copy paste your config files. I need the reference.
  13. I moved all resources from C:\Users\Cygarniczka\Desktop\Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA into minimal. No luck. I messed with gemrb.cfg & gemrb.6.in files. I even copied pasted all data and movies folders/files from CD folders into minimal and C:\Users\Cygarniczka\Desktop\Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA ==== no luck. Still the game (gemrb.exe) crashes when I reach Wizard of the Coast logo (before main menu). And the end of the log is the same - missing font rollback. Can someone please provide copy of your ini and config files? It will help me set up mine correctly.
  14. I get black screen - the game window does NOT close it self - yes. I may know how to fix the paths for CD folders but how do I get missing resources? Would copying over folders I have in BGII - SoA main game directory into minimal would solve it? ////Edit: I did just that copied everything into minimal folder and game fires up with GemRB.exe but it freezes on the Wizard of the Coast logo. I added screenshot because couldn't copied all log message. Screen captured lines from: [ResourceManager]: Found 'BISLOGO.mve' in 'chitin.key'. and onward (not many lines though). Problemo with using missing fonts...
  15. https://github.com/lynxlynxlynx/gemrb-mods/tree/master/10pp Is there guy for dummies how to install GerMB and 10pp mod. The guide from above link is vague at best. Almost got it running I see the game window firing up after I click ok on the error pop up but the game window it closes itself as soon as it appears. How to fix Gemrb.exe - entry point not found error?
  16. Hello. I would like to know if the mod has been discontinued. Best wishes, zel.
