    She doesn't need to be present throughout the game for her talks and story to unfold. She has some area-based dialogues, but it's not needed to advance her story - just opportunities to learn a little about her.

    Although, I will say her story continues after Chapter 5. After the event in Chapter 6, you could technically drop her off somewhere again, rotate her with other NPCs, and then, pick her up whenever you head to Suldanessellar.

    I'm already planning my next trilogy playthrough and will definitely be including Zakrion in the lineup. Of the BG1 and BG2 casts (I don't tend to use Beamdog NPCs or play SoD), which companions would you say he has the most dialogues/interesting interactions with? If the semi-romance is finished in BG1, will you still have the chance to see romance conflicts with Anomen in BG2?

    Without spoiling too much... yes, there will definitely be a romance conflict with Anomen in BG2. Although, I will say that his Friendship Track needs to be completed first, before starting his Romance Track (there will be two different types of Romance Tracks for him, depending on your dialogue). So, it is very possible that you'll get further along in Anomen's romance than Zakrion's, and depending on when you pick up Zakrion and Anomen, it's even possible that you might be already committed to Anomen before Zakrion's romance starts. I would highly recommend picking him up as soon as you can.

    Regarding party members with the most dialogues/interesting interactions, he has the most dialogue with Anomen, especially if you're romancing the both of them. In terms of most interesting dialogue, I think Minsc, Jan, Valygar, Nalia, and Mazzy, but it's just my opinion! I know you mention you generally don't use Beamdog NPCs, but writing banters for Zakrion and Dorn was very fun amusing for me. :)

    I'm happy to hear that, and thank you for reading the updates. :) My goal for completing BG2:SoA and ToB for Zak is the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023, and time seems to fly by rather quickly nowadays... so, I hope the progress I'm making is fast enough!

  9. June 19, 2022:

    Released v5.2.1 of TBL. Every time I think I get rid of a grammatical/punctuation issue, three more pop up... This time around though, RebeccaQ volunteered to review and edit TBL's files. Hopefully now, TBL will be free of grammatical errors. So, this might be a small update, but I like to call it a grammar overhaul.

    Hello!

    We've done some digging on this, and thanks to the wizard, CamDawg, we were able to provide a solution in the latest version of Yoshimo's Remorse (v3.0.1). Theoretically, the install should be successful. I've installed and did a quick test with Yoshimo's Remorse on my end, and it seems to be fine. However, I don't have the same mod setup, so there may be some unforeseen conflicts... or there may not be.

    At the moment, I was planning on writing at least 6-8 romance talks for him in SoA. It's on the shorter end of the stick, because the PC will have to go through 10 friendship talks to initiate or bring up the past "relationship" with him.

    With the permission of other modders, I most definitely would like to include crossmod content. I would very much like to have mod romance conflicts as well... I'll admit, I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to romance conflicts. 😈

    Lastly, thank you very much for your words! I am really aiming for a late 2022 or early 2023 release date for Zakrion, but we'll see! :)

  13. Aaand I'm late to the party on this, apologies for that... and this might already be solved.. but!!

    From what I remember, if Yoshimo died a "chunky" death, there's a spawning bug in ToB for him. Beyond that, I don't really know how to fix that other than reloading back to the point of his betrayal and not absolutely destroy the man, heh.

    Oh wow. It seems that I got Tutu and EET mixed up. He is certainly EET compatible (works with Beamdog's Enhanced Editions) but not Tutu compatible. Thanks for catching that. 

    Wait... I definitely think I have this mixed up. He is certainly compatible with Beamdog's Enhanced Editions, but in terms of the actual EET modification where the games run continuously (found here), he is not compatible. Yet.

    I assumed every time someone spoke of "EET compatibility", I immediately thought they were referring to the modification.

    I've been quiet in regards to Zakrion's BG2 content. So, I've decided to make this thread include progress updates for SoA and ToB. I had to take a hiatus for about a year or so, and when I went back to reread what I had before the hiatus... I decided to rewrite it all. No worries though, progress is happening! I'm hoping to do a biweekly report until his BG2 content releases. So, without further ado, here are the updates!

    As of today (May 31, 2022), I have completed for SoA:

    • Zakrion's quest has been outlined
    • Item(s) has/have been written and coded - thanks to Lava for helping me on this one!
    • Introduction Dialogue has been written and coded
    • Departure/Kicking Member Out Dialogue has been written and coded
    • Anomen Banters have been written and coded
    • 7 Friendship Talks have been written and coded
    • Romance Talks have been outlined

    What needs to be done:

    • The rest of the BioWare and Beamdog NPCs need to be written and coded

  16. May 8, 2022:

    Released v5.1 of TBL. This version fixes an incorrect chapter reference for EET. There are also some notes to the readme regarding the French translation that may be helpful to the French community (thanks again, @Mera!).
