Problem is much clear now. Desktop linux can write "./cache/\ar210c.bif" (it exists in game files in previous post), but android cannot. Maybe it's a typo in source code?

 

Issue with the original game data files. Sorry, I said I'd fix this and didn't get around to it yet; we should be stripping slashes in one of the VFS functions rather than adding fixes in random places.

I was able to add very dirty hack to 0.6.4 version, Kuldahar works on android now.

Is there some kind of tutorial on how to set it up? I followed the Installation instructions in the Android marktet and when i run the app it just shows a black screen with the mouse cursor (as a glove) and a button on the upper left corner that says "Ab".

Now i have no idea what i did wrong :/

I think the answer is "no", haven't seen detailed instructions for android anywhere.

 

The version from market with BG2-demo should "just work" on most devices. After you have it running, full game copying and configuration is not hard - you always have working example with BG2-demo.

 

In your case situation is worse. Can you provide some information about your device and attach logs from aLogcat (https://market.android.com/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat)?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and my aim was to install Icewind Dale 2.

 

Thanks for pointing me to aLogcat. Looks like there is something wrong with the screen resolution... but I am not sure if I understand the log data right ;)

My screen is too small? Does that mean ID2 can't be played with a resoltuion of 800 x 480?

Installed on Android (HTC Desire HD) and after deleting the Cache to get it loading, BG2 (full game) seg faults when trying to load the first area.

 

The UI shows up alright, but the main screen is blue - then it crashes.

ToB seems to work okay... so it must just be the area maps for the start of SoA that are somehow not working...

 

Any suggestions?
