l1k3m1k3 Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 ...which can be found officially at the last game: Icewind Dale 2. And also, is it possible to mod all BG games, so that they will use 4th edition of AD&D rule set? Thank you, and sorry for noob questions.
theacefes Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Well, we have IWD Tutu which takes IWD and brings it to the IWD2 version of the engine. We also have the IWD in BG2 conversion which brings IWD to the BG2 version of the engine. 4th edition? I have no idea.
lynx Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 maybe someday with gemrb, but I doubt anyone would bother with such a big project.
Aion Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 4th Edition D&D sucks anyway. I prefer good old 2.5 and 3.
ericp07 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 4th Edition D&D sucks anyway. I prefer good old 2.5 and 3. 3.5e FTW! No other edition of the rules is worth anything, IMHO. As for the Infinity Engine, the BGII - ToB has the most advanced Infinity Engine... what comes to the running of things. The IWDII doesn't even have party joining feature... while the BG1 has already been converted to BGII - SoA & ToB engines(EasyTutu - SoA, - ToB & BGT-WeiDu), the IwD is in progress via the IWDinBG2, and there's few other BGII - ToB based projects. So essencially, they already are...
