@K4thos has built in similar functionality into EET by default, so it's not needed.

Think I may have found a bug, or at least some problem, in Tweaks Anthology v8 > Content Changes > Move Alora to Gullykin.

I've been playing a while and finally got to the Hall of Wonders, trying to enter crashes the game. Tried a number of things (such as going there first thing after entering the City, avoiding having the Larceny quest etc) but it kept crashing. Though for some unknown reason it did successfully load 1 time, then crashed countless more times.

Reading into it I found Alora was meant to be in The Hall of Wonders, then remembered I decided to try the "Move NPCs" thing.  Altering/removing the option to move her now lets me enter the Hall of Wonders from any of the previous saves without issue, tested each multiple times with no crashes now.

Though that might be something worth looking into.

Also should I expect any problems due to having removed the option to move Alora? I have previously had her as a companion in Gullykin for a minute and left her there.

 

 

Removing the Move Alora option does seem to have a problem at this point, I met her inside the Hall, thought I'd experiment, got her to join the party and then dismissed her, then told her to go wait in the Elfsong Tavern, shortly after she vanishes the game crashes.

I'm hoping as things are, this won't effect new games, and if I just leave her alone in the current game it might be fine/salvageable. Though I'm a little curious what will happen if I return to Gullykin where I left the first Alora.

Hi,

Short : Are you sure that this cloackwood bug is fixed in v8 ? Or maybe this another one ;)

Long : I play BG1EE on Android : only few components of your mod (full weidu.log below).

I chose in particular "~CDTWEAKS/SETUP-CDTWEAKS.TP2~ #2 #1035 // Rendre disponibles les zones de Bois-Manteau en avance -> Seulement la premiere zone: v8" (sorry for french*) that makes only the 1st clockwood area available at the beginning. And it did the job. But, I only went there in chapter 4 (I wonder why I chose this component...).

As far as I know, now that I am in chapter 4, the 2nd clockwood area should now be available. But wherever I come from (1st cloakwood area, bandit camp area, FAI area...), I can't make 2nd clockwood area (and next) to be visible/available.

Any idea ?

* BTW, is there a way to ask weidu to translate weidu.log in english whatever the language I choose to play the game in ?

Yes, Project Infinity can do this, you have to set folder for extracted mods, set language to English and import weidu.log

Anyway we could get the Multiple Romance section to not be skipped over when being run for Baldur's Gate EE. The reason I ask is because you have multiple romance options in Siege of Dragonspear. So I assume if the installer didn't skip it for BG:EE then it'd be active during Dragonspear and thus make it possible to romance multiple companions at once.

I'd like to report a crash issue that is likely related to the following Tweaks Anthology components:

#4025 // Allow NPC pairs to separate: v8
#1075 // Send BioWare NPCs to an Inn (DavidW/Zed Nocear): v8

Steps to reproduce:

  • Full party of 6 (probably not strictly required).
  • Position both members of an NPC pairing in close proximity to CHARNAME.
  • Acquire a new party member (my case was Shar-Teel after she is defeated in the duel).
  • Dismiss one of the NPC pair members; both members of the pairing should leave the party and remain in place.
  • Talk to one of the dismissed NPCs and send her/him to an inn; the NPC will begin to exit the area.
  • Immediately recruit the remaining dismissed NPC before the other member of the pairing has exited the area.
  • The NPC successfully re-joins.
  • As soon as the partner NPC exits the area, the reform party screen is presented again.
  • Attempting to remove another NPC will cause the game to freeze. Alt-tab to view a notification mentioning that an error has occurred and the path to a crash dump file.

I've tested this with the following pairs: Jaheira/Khalid and Xzar/Montaron after Shar-Teel is defeated and subsequently joins. The game crash is always reproducible following the above steps. My game is BG:EE with SoD, v2.5.17.0.

Fortunately, the workaround is rather obvious: just wait until the NPC sent to an inn completes the exit area action before recruiting her/his partner.
