EET End Error

I wouldn't add mods that do not state to have direct EET compatibility. It should tell in the readme or at the download's page.

I mean, EET adds BGEE/SoD into a BG2EE game. Most* mods designed for BG2 will work fine and don't need to be specifically designated as "EET compatible."

* (That said I gather EET might change the chapter structure of the BG2 campaign some some mods with reliance on chapters, like perhaps some NPCs, might need special handling to be EET compatible. But for plenty of mods it doesn't matter whether EET is there or not.)

Jastey, as long as you're posting here, I wonder which of Endless BG1 and SOD Tweaks I should use. They seem to overlap but also include unique components. It did install OK last time when I did it intuitively, but I wondered about if there were a more optimal way. All your tweaks seem desirable.

Those two don't really overlap, though. You should be able to install all components from both mods, unless I didn't understand your question. (There is even technical compatibility code in Tweakpack's "Skip Korlasz" Dungeon" if it detects EndlessBG1's "Korlasz' Crypt in BG1".)

What cancels itself out are:

-it's either "Imoen stays in Korlasz' Crypt in the Group" from Imoen4Ever OR "Korlasz' Crypt in BG1" from EndlessBG1 (due to technical reasons. For the latter, Imoen will remain in the group anyway).

-it's either one of the soD Tweakpack new/revised SoD endings OR Another fine Hell.

OK, so based on feedback here, I reorganized my install order. I think this did help; I had far fewer installation issues, with no errors at all until Sirene-BG2. But, I still run into EET_end failing, with the debug file attached. The "achievements" issue is again implicated

Someone guessed that the "achievements" issue might implicate Ascension -- as far as I can tell I have version 2.0.21, or at least it links to that Readme in the documentation.

EDIT: Looks like somehow Solaufein or Valen were causing the issue; replacing them with jastey's Solaufein  (couldn't find her Valen) led it to work. Then, everything installed except for SCS's AI changes, which failed for some reason. Oh well! Thanks for everyone's help

My Solaufein ("Solaufein's Rescue") is a different mod than Weimer's Solaufein. It's not an update from Weimer's Solaufein. There is no Valen mod nor update from me, either.

Yep, I was aware of the former. I found a forum exchange between you and the author of another Valen mod a couple years ago where you recommended that person make an entirely new Valen mod, as you had done, so it gave me the impression that you'd made both at some time. In context I thought you meant yet-another Valen mod, but I'm guessing you were making an analogy with your Solaufein.

The installation worked great, except that someone now all classes can put pips into all weapon proficiencies. I don't think this is intended behavior relative to my installation (I do install some proficiency rebalancing, but none with this behavior, and those didn't install with errors). Any guess at what could cause this, or where to try asking for help troubleshooting?

We can guess all but it won't be very efficient if we don't know what mods you installed. Need to attach your weidu.log.

Off the top of my head I'm going to guess it's something to do with Dual-to-Kit, but that's just a wild guess. (Do you have a WEAPPROF.2da, WEAPPROF_BACKUP.2da, and M_KITPRF.lua in your override folder?)

Yes, I do see those files in override and have attached them. I have also attached my Weidu.log file, zipped.

Thanks for F&P by the way, I'm looking forward to playing through with it. :) It installed with errors for the sphere system but seems to be working OK. If you happen to have any advice about diagnosing that, I'd be interested, though I can appreciate this is the EET thread. The only other goofy content-related thing was that SCS didn't initialise and skipped most of its components, so I am debating starting the installation again to try to address that...reading through SCS documentation, it sounds like that usually happens because the UI was modified before SCS, though I don't see where I did that.

I can’t open a zipped file at the moment. Are you using a modded UI? It could be blocking the Dual-to-Kit proficiency mechanic. If you installed a UI overhaul after Dual-to-Kit, it almost certainly won’t work.

Warnings are different from errors. Generally you can ignore warnings.

If you’re using a weird UI mod then it might not be compatible with a lot of things. In my experience they are a mixed bag. LeUI is great; DragonspearUI+ has many versions and only one is broadly compatible.

If you want to try to reinstall SCS you could more easily manually uninstall everything after it, working backwards. It is very near the end of your order, right? Right?

I'm using EEUITweaks and then using all the LeUI content, since I think that UI is prettiest. And yep, I did do EEUITweaks last, after DUALKIT, so I guess that explains it. Sounds like DUALKIT should go even after that.

Yes, SCS is near the end. Here's my post-EET stuff (I added Verr'sza at the end to see if it would somehow magically work in a bit to avoid reinstalling everything, when I realized he had BG2 content I hadn't installed. Seemed to work OK, surprisingly.):

Can I literally run the various setup.exe files and choose to uninstall in reverse order and be OK?

EDIT: By the way, thinking of LeUI, inscribed arcana failed. Any guesses at compatibility: I'd assumed it was related to F&P given the spell changes and was going to give up, but maybe I'm mistaken since sounds like you're a fan of LeUI
