Does peer pressure exist in on-line communities?

Of course it exists but its level of success will vary depending on the community and of course by individual.

 

I don't think liking a mod or not is actually influenced by peer pressure. A contoversy surrounding a mod is more likely than not to increase interest if not actual play. As celebrities will tell you, "There's is no such thing as bad publicity."
