Immortality Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Hi, Bri! So, I couldnt resist, and I HAD to use a pic of Jude Law to make an alternate portrait. Hope you like it!
Grim Squeaker Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 *jaw hits ground* Shit! That's so good, Ana! I dub thee, Portrait Queen!
Bri Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Now, now Grim, one doesn't swear in front of a lady... *curtsies to Ana* And more seriously, it is very good work Immortality. With your permission, we shall include that picture for the Durlyle portrait.
jester Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Wow, very nice. Now the ladies will beg him to refrain from shapechanging evar.
Bri Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Wow, very nice. Now the ladies will beg him to refrain from shapechanging evar. I don't know, there is something to be said for a man who can keep himself warm as you hog the covers to yourself...
icelus Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 It's good, but it still a bit photo-y. Perhaps run it through a filter that might, um, portraitize it a bit (for lack of a better word ).
BevH Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I don't know, there is something to be said for a man who can keep himself warm as you hog the covers to yourself... Or someone to keep you warm while he hogs the covers. Or just someone to keep you warm when there are no covers...
Immortality Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 Ehhh.... eheh hawt Yeah, agreed, he looks photo-y, i shall try and make him look more like a painting, just with no filters... filters never do what i want...
Immortality Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 Hah, ok, I like to toy with stuff. Durlyle is eeEeeeeeeEEeeVIllL!!!!11 Its very interesting to see how a mere change of color also changes the expression, dont you think?
Immortality Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 ok here it is, less pic-like. thing is, the eyes are the "problem" but i dont kinda wanna change them, they look shiny and full of life. i kinda like them
BigRob Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 *claps* I like the forest background too, it goes very well with the lighting on the face. Is that a happy coincidence, or did you engineer it?
Bri Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I really do like the forest background, and we might borrow that as well for Del...but I don't see much difference between the first and the last. Although the evil one is redder.
Immortality Posted May 19, 2004 Author Posted May 19, 2004 The background: I choose my backgrounds carefully, and although i dont have a big selection of backgrounds, they're all very big pictures, so i move them, change color, blur, etc. So no, it wasnt a happy coincidence, i put the light exactly where i wanted to And well, the 2nd pic is more drawing-like? Granted you cant really see it, but if you see them side by side you'll see the difference...
