  3. Yes, that, too. OF COURSE you try to contact the authors first, too. My approach above was for mods where the authors are not reachable.
  4. OK, I might misremember. Regarding the arm: -rep needs to be 17 or higher -Global("ACSTORY","GLOBAL") needs to be at "3" -chapter needs to be after 4 (e.g. in chapter 5) -group needs to be in an OUTDOOR area. Then there will be an event that leads to his new arm.
  5. @Zaramorte in other words: make a technical good update that fixes bugs, does not change the content, stays true to the author's intentions, make a transparent changelog, offer it in the according mod forum, be ready to take it down if asked to - and we'd kiss your feet. really, this community is about "all hands on deck". We all are the community, there is no elite group of modders who are chosen to maintain all mods; modders come and go, new modders arise and take over older projects, there is modders who were newbies only recently and now they are more skilled than I am. Unfortunately, all @Endarire is hearing is "I am allowed to upload adapated mod versions".
  6. The community tries to provide updates, especially technical ones. It's just that there is good and acceptible ways to do it, and then there is other ways, and these other ways We Do Not Do. And first prerequisite is that you have the technical skill. Which @Endarire, so far, did not show. His "EET compatible updates" are a risk to the players' installs.

  9. @Imiona yes. Chatty Imoen adds more sound file lines to Imoen (in BG1, I think). It's fully compatible with Imoen4Ever.

  13. And if you are asked to take them down, you take them down. What you uploaded to GitHub aren't even technical updates. Take your unauthorized mod versions down. This can't get any clearer than this.
  14. @Endarire @Acifer's Dark Tidings mod on your repo is months old, and you have no permission to upload it. Have you lost your mind, are you deliberately working on destruction - and on being excluded from the community?

  16. A hint at this point: in the modname.ini is the install order info for Project Infinity (unless it's component wise, then it is in the tp2 tagged with METADATA). I try to keep the readmes up-to-date, but it's well possible that current relevant install order info is in the .ini.

  18. if you use the real Seatower mod - which, i can tell you, the EE Setup Tool is not, then there is no conflict between these three mods. That "warning" is misleading BS*. *Not from the BS company, but the real thing.
