  1. There are three components to this mod: The SoA content, the ToB content, and the Romance Cutoff component. Installation Note These components will only add new material to your install if two or more of the mods covered by the project are installed. It will not be able to see into the future and detect something not installed before it looks at your installation - please place it last in install order after all of the mods in this list. Please note that just because two NPCs are listed, they may not have additional content with one another--check the readme for specific and up-to-date banter combinations. NPC mods currently covered by this project: Aeryn: Haer'Dalis from Haer'Dalis Romance AionZ: Pai'na, Sirene berelinde: Gavin, Haldamir cmorgan: Aran Whitehand Deathsangel: Kido Domi: Kivan and Deheiriana from Kivan and Deheriana Companions Dorotea: Irenicus from The Longer Road Ghreyfain: Goo jastey: Ajantis for BG2, Solaufein from Solaufein's Rescue JCompton: Kelsey jmaeq: Minyae and Elaryn from The Beaurin Legacy K'aeloree: Arath, Dace, Iylos, Nephele Kulyok: Branwen, Coran, Tiax, Xan Laufey: Edwin Romance Lava: Foundling, Gahesh, Hephernaan, Khalid, Quayle, Petsy Chattertone, Phalh and Verr'Sza from the Verr'Sza, Skie from Cost of One Girl's Soul, Varshoon, Will from Will of the Wisp, Yoshimo from Yoshimo Romance, Yvette Mistress Elysia: Fade Moongaze: Kari the Kobold, Wikaede Nethrin: Kindrek, Willie Bruce Rastor: Kitanya Rhaella: Adrian, Isra SimDing0: Alassa Sister Vigilante: Angelo Tempest: Darian theacefes: Auren Aseph, Sarah Weimer: Solaufein Multi-author mods: Amber from Meira & Darios Faren from Feuille & Miss Sakaki Hubelpot from Bob Tokyo, SConrad, & Bookwyrme Keto from JCompton & Blue The Luxley Family from Feuille & Miss Sakaki Nathaniel from Feuille & Miss Sakaki Neh'taniel, from Skye & kitanna Ninde from Deva & Rhaella Saerilith from Nethrin & Sillara Tashia from Bri & Lord Ernie Tsujatha from Nethrin & Sillara Xulaye from K'aeloree, Riviera, & Bookwyrme Yasraena from Nethrin & Sillara Yoshimo of Yoshimo's Remorse from Lava and jmaeq Other mods which will get additional content from NPCs in this list: Alternatives Cost of One Girl's Soul Homeward Bound Tales of the Deep Gardens Crossmod Banter Pack for Shadows of Amn This component (0) will add new material to your install of SoA based on what mods you have installed. As of v21, this component adds 475 new banters and additional interjections into some other mods. This component can also resolve logical conflicts between mods, e.g. NPCs won't mention that Khalid is dead if Lava's Khalid mod is installed since it changes the game timeline. Crossmod Banter Pack for Throne of Bhaal This component (1) will add new material to your install of ToB based on what mods you have installed. This component requires the previous component to be installed first. Note, some of these banters may also appear in SoA and therefore if they have all already played in SoA, you will see no new banters in ToB between those characters. As of v21, this component adds 173 new banters and additional interjections into some other mods. This component can also resolve logical conflicts between mods, e.g. NPCs won't mention that Khalid is dead if Lava's Khalid mod is installed since it changes the game timeline. Crossmod Romance Conflicts This component will add romance conflicts between many mod NPCs in SoA (and ToB if it is installed). If you prefer multi-romances, don't install this. Contains romance auto-kills for: Ajantis (BG2, ToB), by jastey Amber Angelo Arnel's Nalia Romance Chloe Corthala Romantique Darian Fade Gavin berelinde's Keldorn Romance Kelsey Lord Mirrabbo's Imoen Romance Nathaniel Neh'taniel Ninde Pocketplane Group Nalia Saerileth Sarah Sime from Tortured Souls Weimer's Solaufein Tashia Tsujatha Tyris Flare Kulyok's Xan
  2. This mod expands Coran's Friendship talk sequence, adding up to eighteen (18) new banters with the protagonist (and one potential comment by Garrick) for a player character who is not in an active romance with him. If you have The BG1 NPC Project installed, they begin playing after the last regular friendship talk. If the player started and interrupted Coran's The BG1 NPC Project romance, the friendship sequence should initiate after that. If you do not have The BG1 NPC Project installed, they become available immediately.

    Auren Aseph

Auren Aseph is a young and eager fighter from Beregost. She was born to a middle class merchant and his wife, and grew up a headstrong girl. She will join your party, offer you her friendship, and will romance Nalia if she is in your party. Backstory Auren's father would tell her stories of adventurers he'd run into while on his caravan routes, and Auren became more and more interested at the thought of adventuring as she got older. She'd spend hours every week at the famous blacksmith Thunderhammer's shop, staring at all of the many types of weapons and armor, both magical and non-magical. Her desire to explore the world and independent nature was quickly noticed when she was thirteen, when the leader of a group of adventurers passing through town saw her eavesdropping on their conversations at Feldpost's Inn. The adventurers took an interest in Auren and stayed in Beregost for a few months. The leader encouraged Auren to learn the ways of swordplay, and she begged him to teach her all he knew. By the age of fourteen, Auren had joined the group and accompanied them on their travels. She saw much of Faerun as they did good deeds for other towns, explored caves and dungeons, and acquired many types of treasure. At the start of her twentieth year, a series of tragedies occurred that convinced Auren to retire from the world of adventuring. She went to Nashkel, hoping to build herself a new life and settle down with the large amount of gold she had saved up over the years of traveling. She soon heard about the iron crisis and began to notice it herself when she saw her old daggers and sword deteriorating. Auren usually fought with two swords, one which she had picked up in a dungeon during her travels, and another that she had bought in Beregost from Thunderhammer, which appeared to be an ordinary sword, but for some reason showed no signs of deterioration. She was tempted to look into the iron crisis herself, when she realized the pain that adventuring had brought her, so she went about her business and ignored it. Not too long after she heard about the iron crisis, the news came that a group of adventurers, lead by a Child of Bhaal, had stopped the force behind the iron crisis and had saved the Sword Coast. Realizing that she could no longer ignore the call of adventuring, Auren packed her things and made her way to the south, to Athkatla, to find a group of good-hearted adventurers like herself that would be willing to let her fight alongside them. She arrived in Athkatla and made her way to the slums, to the Copper Coronet, where she was sure she was bound to run into *someone* interesting... Soundtrack Auren has an original soundtrack that can be downloaded separately.

    Angelo

In the Angelo NPC Mod, Angelo tracks you down in the Graveyard District to make you an offer you can't refuse (though perhaps you will). He comes equipped with the following: Between two and five banters with every Bioware NPC Extensive player-initiated conversation trees A full array of interjections Voicing Custom equipment For those curious about the past, the player can ask Angelo to unfold the story of Sarevok as he saw it. Of course, should Sarevok himself ever join the party, the plot may thicken. Angelo has two major quests—-both in SoA, one of which can carry into ToB. If you are female, are of any race and have at least twelve charisma, you can attempt to romance Angelo. His stats: STR: 15 DEX: 15 CON: 16 INT: 17 WIS: 11 CHR: 10 Angelo is Chaotic Neutral. He feels little remorse for the past, but has no objection to giving virtue a try; and in everything looks out for himself. As his new "chief" he wants to see the PC succeed (as long as the PC doesn't set his sights too high, as Sarevok did), and can't understand why the PC insists on running around with a gang of oddballs after risky objectives, rather than settling down and building his or her fortune. He has little to no taste for adventure, and respects experience and competence. Please visit our forums!
  5. That's weird that it got deleted. Maybe it happened during the HD fail/restore. Anyway, thank goodness for cloud storage and the fact that I threw this stuff on my One Drive back in the day. I'll reupload to G3 at some point (or if someone else wants to, feel free) but in the meantime here's the link. Also, for some reason I have Banana backed up in 4 different places on the cloud storage as well as Skooter the NPC, my old NPC tutorial site, and my completely unnecessary NPC builder that I made with Adobe AIR.
  6. Looking into it. Thanks for being patient.

  15. I hear ya. I'm not completely opposed to letting someone else adopt the mod but I would probably be a little picky about who that person would be simply because I spent too many hours on it to let it turn more crappy than it already is.
  16. Wow, long time without updates. Real life stuff: I got a new job and moved and stuff and I'm working on a couple projects on the side. I decided that instead of locking up Shadow Hand forevarr, I would just release the semi-working alpha for anyone to explore and test. I don't know if I'll ever get back to work on it because honestly, it's a HUGE project for two people, and there are a lot of things in the plot that I would love to change. Anyway, there is a download link and a fun guide as well. The idea of the project was to give BG a nice kickstart and a chance to explore the Sword Coast again. Mods could definitely be made for this if someone wanted to. Hope you enjoy it and feel free to give feedback; just remember it may never be implemented.
  17. Well, it's not so much a coder that I need....but I'll make an announcement soon enough on the matter. I appreciate the offer but you may want to hold back on your offer until I make things a little more clear. I'm not even sure what is going to happen to be honest.
  18. Yeah I'm doing some redesign for my website (which is going slowly but I'll have more time in a few weeks hopefully) but I'll try and fix those links at some point. As for the mod...honestly with work and finishing up university and a commercial game, modding just hasn't been on my list lately. I'll probably do some kind of informal announcement (well, like this maybe) but I think I'd rather see if there is a writer/coder person out there who would want to take over.
  19. It's still in testing and I haven't had much time to dedicate to it to be honest as I've been busy with finishing up uni and doing an internship.
  20. Right you'll have to CTRL-J out of there. Also, please refer to this http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=19355 for any already known bugs or things that just aren't finished yet.
  21. Yep, know what you mean. Thanks for bringing that up - I'll definitely be changing that.
  22. Yes, [broken record] the items portion of the mod has not been addressed yet [/broken record].
  23. Well, the total conversion is 4 chapters...so it's shorter than the actual game was, but still pretty long for a mod. The main quest for the 4 chapters is pretty much done along with most of the characters involved in it along w/ their scripts, dialogues, and some of the stuffies. The part I'm working on now other than the testing are the cutscenes to transition through parts of the quest better, the 6 joinable NPCs (which are created and can join and leave and have something resembling a personality), and of course, the smaller subquests and encounters, though there are a couple already. We still have a way to go though, it's nice to have help weeding out the bugs in the foundation so that we can focus on the secondary materials.
  24. Testing in progress, yay! We've actually been able to find some wonderful bugs already - which is good because if we start fixing them early, it'll be better for us in the long run. Still working on the chapter screens - I haven't decided what I'm going to use for all of them yet.
