Enhanced Powergaming Scripts

Sometimes selecting advanced ai can be wonky. I recommend first setting scripts for each character to "None" and save. Go back into the scripts page and then set each character to the advanced ai, and you should be good to go.

Did you follow my steps to assign the scripts? Pre-buffing should work once they are properly assigned. Please let me know if there is still stutter after the scripts are assigned and please provide your weidu log.

@oraclexThat is the right one. Can you go into your override folder and send me your bddefai.bcs file? I'd like to see what is going on with it. Thank you!

Also, do you have spells and abilities assigned in the spell book that can be cast during pre-buffing? Do you have in-game ai set to on ("a" key will toggle this)? Are there characters selected when you hit the "b" key?

I found this little piece, that might very much apply for me too. I run mainly a imported character expect for Imoen and Vic.

Figured it out, I imported the character from Black Pits II, and it's apparently a known, but not widely commented on bug. Basically, only export the character from the arena, or just after resting, otherwise they get a spell failure trait on them, that means they can't use magic/special abilities anyway. Also discovered that Default Custom AI, the very bottom option, doesn't switch weapons when I don't tell it to(Like I have a Godbow, and it changes to fists when things get close)

however, when testing the script on these units, the B key still did not do anything

Well, as you might have seen, I still low level, but I did play around with several spells. I was also expecting to see some kind of text floater. Maybe might be nice addition to have something prompt into the dialog screen. Know a low level spell by heart that should be triggered?

I'd check to see if the game ai is toggled to on. The lantern will be highlighted if it's on. Feel free to send a screenshot of your main game screen. You will get a dialog prompt when you press the "b" key.
