Once a Bard's musical talents have reached a significant level, his music can stay with the listeners long after the last note has died away. After the Bard stops playing, the effects of his or her song last an additional 2 rounds.
Requires: Enhanced Bard Song

My question is:
What do you think how it interacts with your Component to make the Bard Songs last for 60 seconds?
Do you think it will just extend the time to 72 Seconds or do you think it's not working together?

 

 

 

RR from what I've seen does different timing than vanilla and doesn't work with skills and abilities methods nor the Bard Hat found in SoD.

How does this mod work together with the changes that SCS make to the CRE files? Does it take into consideration the changes that SCS makes to proficiencies, when I install the proficiency overhaul system from Skills and Abilities?

I seem to be having an issue with Voghiln being able to disarm traps despite him having points in Trap Detection and Open Locks. No matter what armor he has equipped, he cannot use the thieving skills ability as it's constantly greyed out. The only mod I can see interfering with this is the Artisan Kitpack Skald Overhaul, which disables pick-pocketing for Skalds, but it's installed well before the Skills and Abilities mod.

I seem to be having an issue with Voghiln being able to disarm traps despite him having points in Trap Detection and Open Locks. No matter what armor he has equipped, he cannot use the thieving skills ability as it's constantly greyed out. The only mod I can see interfering with this is the Artisan Kitpack Skald Overhaul, which disables pick-pocketing for Skalds, but it's installed well before the Skills and Abilities mod.

Bardic Wonders does restrict Skalds from using the thieving abilities. As of version 2.0 of skills and abilities you need to check the ini option prior to install so Bardic Wonders skalds can use their thieving abilities.

No, you'll need to check the clab assigned to the skald. In there, you'll see something assigned at level one with the Artisans' prefix. You'll need to open up the corresponding spell and remove the opcode preventing thieving abilities.

SKILLBRD also matters, of course; that's the baseline value for Pick Pocket skill that all bards get. With that version of the table, a bard will have the Pick Pockets ability of a thief that never invested in the skill at all. Unless your mod setup lets them invest skill points?

Vanilla skalds use the SKILLBRD table (values ranging from 25 at level 1 to 99 at level 16+), then multiply the resulting number by 0.25 (THIEFSCL.2DA, skald column) to get their base skill value, add race and DEX modifiers and also multiply those by 0.25 (example: a level 1 half-elf skald with 18 DEX has 25*0.25=6 skill from the table and (25+10)*0.25=8 bonus for a total of 14), then add any bonus skill from sources like potions and items. Yes, that means potions of master thievery work at full effectiveness, and one is worth more than maxed levels for a skald.
