  1. I've beaten SCS vanilla rune, and finished SOA with all of SCS installed (some time ago), so I hope I can work through it. I'll offer feedback when I get there.
  2. No problem. I've done that this time, everyhting installed fine and was playable after EET_end, SCS is almost complete. I'll report anything odd that I find, please let me know if there is anything you're concerned about that I should watch out for.
  3. I have very similar warnings to Cahir, also EET via PI. No effects altered on: scrl07.itm (protection from magic) spwi418d.spl halb11.itm These are probably fine, I assume something else (SR/IR?) is modifying them first and SCS does not need to. What is the best way for me to check what they are? Search engines are not helping much! The Warning: you've called an include with no argument is a new one to me. Logs attached, thanks.   4. Hi all, I've been copying a set of portraits to my override folder for years to replace companion (and some major NPC) portraits and make them consistent across all games and mods. My set is: High res & properly sized (for EE). Lore accurate (mostly from Enkida's Portrait Pack). Left facing - so everyone looks at the game window! Complete for all canon companions in BGEE, SoD (untested) and BG2EE. Complete for mod NPCs that also appear as non-companions in the vanilla games. Includes alternate portraits for specific quests (Edwina, pink Xan, Boo-less Minsc etc.) Has a few major NPCs (Bhaalspawn etc.) from Enkida/PPE/others. Happy to share if anyone wants it. I started a list of artist credits, but it needs work, so I won't share publicly. Now that I'm venturing into EET, it occurs to me that I don't know how EET handles portrait (and avatar) consistency. I see components in EET Tweaks for those companions that have multiple portraits but am unsure how they work. For Imoen in particular, I prefer to have her portrait change with each game (and would love to do the same for other NPCs, showing them age, gain scars etc. if anyone has editing skills) but I worry that the consistency mods essentially just select one portrait and have no idea how EET deals with BGEE/SoD to BG2EE changes. Questions: Can I still just dump all my files in override and have EET use them? Do those consistency tweaks force all versions of an NPC to use one portrait? Which one? Do I need to rename anything to have EET recognise it? Does EET deal with BG1 NPC cameos in BG2 somehow? Finally, I'd love to contribute to a lore consistent portrait and avatar mod for EET and EE. At the moment I only have ideas and assets, no real modding experience/knowledge. Maybe this should be part of EET or EET Tweaks?). Thanks for reading.
  5. Left SCS installing overnight, forgot that @Cahir had errors on stratagems:5900:Initialise AI components so it paused there!
  6. EET_end installed, game starts, everything appears to work fine! On to SCS etc.
  7. Thanks @Cahir I have everything up to EET end installed, warnings only! I thought FnP got stuck again, but it just took 50 minutes to install! I can strongly advise going out and running 10k next time you think everything has gone wrong, it might all improve by the time you get back.
  8. FYI, I gave up with refinements some time ago with similar issues. This was before I became active on this forum. it seemed to either fail to install or cause failures with loads of stuff and in game behaviour was odd. Killing HLA usage from SCS NPCs is also a factor.
  9. Combination of LaValygar, Corthala Romance and the Suna Seni restorations plus various mods that add to planar sphere should mean he isn't too awful. Honestly, as a grit junky, I find his closed-offness refreshing, there are so many characters that seem thrilled to spill their guts 5 minutes after you meet them. Call me a cynic, question my choice of friends, but in my experience, people are not like that.
  10. I've just realised that I have somehow left Multiclass bards off my install! I was torn between Fighter/Sorcerer and Spellsinger. Now that I can't run a Spellsinger, you should! Tests T&B arcane stuff, can melee, & forces you to run Valygar, which, as you seem against it I now actively want you to do. Try to make the most out of his storyline stuff. Also, Valygar is actually pretty good as a Stalker, especially with your revisions, so I'm intrigued to see whether he works as a Psypher.
  11. I haven't finished installing EET yet. They failed when I tried them after EET, they have successfully installed on BG2EE pre-EET and were available in character creation. My theory is that EET merging in SoD soundsets may fix them if they are already present in BG2EE when EET starts. If it doesn't I guess I'll have some non-functional soundsets to ignore.
  12. Yes, I've used them for a while on BG2EE, and tested them before starting EET this install, they work fine. Very odd, I'll see what happens this time. I can report I am now installing Migth and Guile and have had no failures, only the RR and FnP warnings. Woohoo! @subtledoctor does MnG autoskip Revised Beastmaster if FnP has already installed it's Druid kits?

  15. All issues reported on forums/github. I had forgotten ARP! Added it in. Revised install order: Remaining expected issues: s9soundsets will install fine on BG2EE pre-EET, not sure if it will then be broken afterwards. Will watch for this. AllThingsMazzy:0:All Things Mazzy has a call order issue, being worked on here. WilsonChronicles:0:Wilson Chronicles has a similar issue, known and will be fixed. @Lava / @jastey are this and the above likely to be safe to use before then? Or should I leave them off until updated? MEtweaks seems to not think EET is an EE game and skips some components. Olvyn also warns that METweaks:3205:Creatures without infravision have reduced visual range at night or in dark places may break AI, so I'm retrying with just METweaks:3200:Creatures without infravision have -4 THAC0 at night or in dark places, if it doesn't install, no problem. sword_and_fist:1:Monk Remix probably negates the need for METweaks:1000:Give Monks a cooler Deflect Missiles ability anyway so I'm removing it. tnt:10:Additions only will not work as it is not PI/EET ready. Looks like this is known and hopefully on roadmap. Has to be removed for now as it fails and halts the install order. EET_Tweaks:2052:Decrease to 50% failed, but can be replaced with scales_of_balance:2123:kills give half XP. bgeespawn:101:BGEE Leveling Spawns Mod does not install, I'm not sure if I care, but have reported, I'll leave it on as it skipped silently. bp-bgt-worldmap:1:Use new Worldmap for Throne of Bhaal as well does not install, unless I'm misunderstanding this mod, I suspect that I do want this components, so I've reported it and will leave it on the list as it skipped silently. @Cahir did this install for you? @AL|EN can I comment out components on an install list?
  16. Pretty sure it is Divine Remix' Druid Remix as the attached is my ALIGNMNT.2DA backup when Faiths and Powers starts, and only Druids have extended tables. ALIGNMNT.2DA

In my last install, I think alignmnt.2da was modified by these mods in this order: Will of the Wisp NPC Kitpack Divine Remix Rogue Revisions TnB Storm Caller Shaman Kit FnP MnG FnP Multiclass @Cahir does not get this issue, and does not use Divine Remix or Storm Caller Shaman, so those seem most likely, though I suppose it could be the specific combination of components from the others. I'll bin Storm Caller Shaman as well as it isn't pivotal.
  19. Already removed that. For now I'm going to ditch all of DR, it doesn't add much over FnP.
  20. It would certainly make this process far quicker if I could leave it to run and then review logs post install. Though stuff that prompts you to make choices within a component still ruins that.
  21. Thanks Doc, all super helpful. I did back up pre EET, so I'll set another round going with changes from this run, and pause it prior to improved Rangers. I was also considering pausing after each suspect mod to try the improved rangers component to identify where the issue would lie, but is there perhaps an easier way to chack what modified the offending files previously?
  22. And the game crashes when I click EEex. Ah well, let's start again. Hard to say what will have caused this, if anyone can interpret crash logs, I'll share. Candidates include: Sod2BG2_IU - dubious about EET compatibility, was installed on BG2 pre-EET. might_and_guile:240:Improved Rangers loop issue - I quit PI and uninstalled the component, but this may have left everything in a mess. Too many mods! Something else.

In light of our discussio nabout FnP I have removed Divine Remix from my list for future installs and will test this component again without it. We've discussed these in the past. Just want to make you aware that they are persistent and invite any further suggestions.
