  1. Thanks! The question about bladesinger dual wielding was not a concern about power level, they seem fairly strong. there is nothing on the kit description to say that they cannot have shield fighting or dual wielding, might be worth adding it.
  2. I've started reading about github, can it support spreadsheets or some kind of database? I went with this as the easiest way to get from the sheet I was using to something public, but it certainly has flaws.
  3. Hi all, In working toward large multi-mod EET installs, I started a list of mods with some info to help me work through compatibility issues. With help from @Cahir and others, I got this to a useful state in late 2020, but neglected it throughout 2021 & 2022. It is now back in active maintenance as I prep for another run. Goals: Provide a comprehensive list of EET compatible mods Allow players to quickly select preferred mods and get a viable install order Enable community updates to the list and order Plan: (In progress / complete) Catalogue & classify all EET compatible mods Include everything from the EET compatibility list Review the Non-EET list (potentials have green names, also probably any portrait and sound mods) Add recent compatible mods (need to add Skitia, Lava & Artemius' NPCs) List whether mods include content for BG/SoD/SoA/ToB (columns AH-AK) List mod category (D) and what it adds/modifies(/copies?) (S-AG) Include working download and discussion links List both the author's preferred homepage (from .ini) and a dependable download link. Remove and avoid unauthorised repos/drives/links Sort mods into a suggested install order Sort by Category (D) Review modname.ini metadata Review ReadMe's & Forum threads Split components for compatibility Add Tested Install Orders Mark mods for my own mega install (column AL) Test potential conflicts & unknown orders Update notes (AM-AP) Add a sheet or links to known working install orders (must include mod versions) Enable long-term maintenance (remove me as a single point of failure) Google Sheets is workable but long term maintenance will require multiple editors, which can get messy.   4. Got a few questions/bug reports: There is no description in game for Bladesinger's Bladesong (on right click). The Agent has the Herald ability text for Mind Blank. Should Bladesingers be able to dual wield? Mine cannot. I have SoB WPO installed as well.
  5. @Cahir For multiple kits you need the multikit builder or to spend some time wrestling with EEkeeper. Be ready to muck about with either to get the result you want.

FYI, a few of these errors (and some of my own) occur because Project Infinity presents a list of all components and does not differentiate by what games, other mods or previous components you have. This can lead to an impression that there are no dependancies and hide that elements would ordinarily be skipped unless you read the readme carefully. I've started manually installing anything that seems to cuase a problem, and in many cases it's because I'd failed to spot a component that shouldn't be there or was required. To summarise, PI is fantastic for quickly running a WELL TESTED install order, or sharing one with others. At present it is not a great tool for planning a new one.

  10. Hey @subtledoctor I've been waiting for component 240 to install for well over 3 hours. Can you think of any reason this would be the case. I have divine remix kits and faiths & powers ranger kits before it, but nothing else that I can imagine making a huge difference to the number of kits to patch. It is just continuously copying and patch or appending to files. The log file is enormous at this point. I am using PI.

  12. Just ran a new install from clean with current releases of the UI mods above, and it does now work! Music glitches while autorolling, probably my ancient processor struggling! Not sure I've ever tried it without A LOT of kits and some other stuff, so I'll finish this install and test a few time as I add stuff.
  13. Hi lefreut, thanks for dropping in. I have tried a few times, it always installs and look right but generally crashes my game. I most recently tried with this: Everything seemed fine, but more crashes when I tried rolling. Should I expect incompatibility with anything else? I'll admit to not having read all of the beamdog threads!
  14. PI will let you select whatever components you want, but I suspect some may skip if they do not detect the relevant mod already installed. Unless they have other conflicts, it is probably best to push any mod with crossmod content later in your order than the mods it has content for.
  15. Hi all, I've successfully installed and played Wheels a fair few times. I'm building a rather large install order for BG2EE and have just come across a failed install for wheels for the first time! I think the only things I have not used with Wheels before are EEex, Bubb's Spell Menu Extended and Skip Chateau Irenicus. This is on a clean copy of my Steam install and was done using Project Infinity. Debug: Any help appreciated. Thanks!
  16. What's the verdict on bringing in or duplicating tweaks from other mods to cdtweaks? I have a bunch that I use, many of which are from mods that duplicate tweaks in cdtweaks and have only a couple of unique features.

EEUITweaks:1070: Faydark's Abilities Auto-Roller/Grimlefourbe's BG2 UI has never worked for me. If you get it to work without regular crashes, please tell me exactly what you do. With Lighting Pack you may find that increased brightness + daylight is rather bright, I'd recommend lower K but it is a personal preference thing and what monitor/s you have and the lighting in the room you play in will make a huge difference. Maybe play around with these before installing or ensure it is veyr late in your install order so you can tweak. I'll give this another look tomorrow, but there's a start. I'd be worried about the number of tweaks and kits you have, those are the areas I have the most problems in my installs. Best of luck.
  21. This is something I am working on for my own install order. Occasionally with a large number of mods you end up with a situation where differnt people advise that a mod must be installed both before and after another mod, and breaking out the components to understand the real compatibility issues is the only way. Perhaps have a way to distinguish between a mod that is in direct conflict with your (edits the same resources differently, breakd functionality etc.) and one that may just result in a suboptimal play experience or missing story content. that would let the player choose.

  23. I've filled out the .tp2 names from my current PI order and a few others. I'm down to E on your BG2EE list and have tidied a load of other things. My focus will be on getting BG2EE mods in there, but I will include EET compatibility as I go along, so I suggest you focus on BG1, SoD & EET if you intend to use this sheet.
