  1. Hi Daxtreme, Your compatibility section suggests that Cowled Menace should be installed before EET_End but after SCS. SCS is currently advised to be installed after EET_End, making this impossible. Is it just cowledmenace:2100:Appropriate Items for High-Level Spellcasters that needs to be after SCS or should the whole mod be installed there? Can you help me understand why? Thanks!

  4. I actually meant MnG issues (Improved Rangers) though I have a bunch of (hopefully irrelevant) warnings on FnP. Are you sure? Could that be what is causing MnG problems? What part of FnP fixes it? FWIW, my suggestions for divine kits for canon companions would be: Aerie - Fastpaws of Baervan Wildwanderer Ajantis - Watcher of Helm Anomen - Watcher of Helm Branwen - Battleguard of Tempus Cernd - Totemic Druid Faldorn - Shadow Druid Glint - Hoodwinker of Baravar Cloakshadow Kivan - Elven Archer Mazzy - Truesword of Arvoreen Tiax - Strifeleader of Cyric Viconia - Nightcloak of Shar Yeslick - Hammer of Moradin Theoretically, Quayle could be a Hoodwinker too but he is already an Illusionist, could be an option to swap him? Minsc could have a real Rasheman Berserker Ranger kit, but the closest I've seen is NPC Kitpack just changing his class name. Maybe your Barbarian Ranger? Keldorn could be a Champion of Torm, but is already an Inquisitor.
  8. This is all great info, thanks! Install DR, before FnP. (See my weidu.log in your thread.) They will be compatible with all FnP systems. If I don't install DR, will I lose those kits? Do they exist independently in FnP? Both mods add clerics of the same deities; if you don't trim anything, you will get multiple cleric kits for Sune, Cyric, and one or two others. This is fine IMO; I think of them as different sects, whose adherents have different kit abilities. And that way I don't have to decide in advance, I can choose whichever kit seems fun in the moment while I'm playing the game. But if you don't want your kit menus bloated by multiple kits for each deity, you can disable installing them from one mod or the other. I specifically meant the remix components, without the kits. Does FnP cover these features in any way: The original three kits have their allowed alignments shifted to be their deity alignment plus one step out--e.g. Morninglords of Lathander (a neutral good deity) will now allow followers of lawful good, neutral good, chaotic good, and true neutral. Notably from the original alignment setup, chaotic neutral clerics only have an option for Talos, and lawful evil only for Helm. Kits have unique holy symbols for their deities, for ToB players. The original cleric kits now use their specialty names instead of generic priest, e.g. the kit names will change from Priest of Lathander to Morninglord of Lathander. The cleric maximum spell progression has been altered to match available 2e source material. Tthe most notable difference is that very high level clerics should see more 7th level spell slots. The clerical strongholds in Shadows of Amn have also been changed slightly, following along the lines of Oversight. Cleric-Rangers will now be offered a choice of stronghold, and the alignment requirements to assist one of the BG2 temples have been altered slightly--Helm no longer accepts Chaotic-aligned characters, for example. The kitted clerics will be offered a stronghold based on their deity, though some trueclass clerics, Painbearers, and Firewalkers will be offered a choice between two temples. Druids have looser bounds on their neutrality requirements--rather than being restricted to true neutral, druids are now allowed to have any alignment that contains neutrality: neutral good, neutral evil, lawful neutral, and chaotic neutral are now allowed in addition to true neutral. On the flipside, the druid's ethos is now enforced on their armor selection for multi- and dual-classes. Before fighter-druids were allowed armor (but not weapons) available to fighters; now both armor and weapons are restricted in the same way. He is, there might be, but he is already kitted as an inquisitor, so may not need changing. I'm actively trying to find out if I can get rid of DR without losing much, as I'm worried it may be causing my FnP issues!

  11. IRR then? I had problems with it on BG2EE, no issues in EET. All I know is that it ends up in those locations, and caused problems with TnB for a while. I am now stuck in a loop with might_and_guile:240:Improved Rangers again as before though (forgot to edit the code/thought things might be different this time!), and I don't know how to end it without force aborting which will probably wreck my install. @AL|EN or anyone else who may know, is there a safe way to stop PI/WeiDU mid-component and repair to before that component to avoid losing many hours of install time? What version of Wings are you using. I get errors all over with the official one, grudgingly tried Roxanne's and it installs without so much as a warning.
  12. Woohoo @subtledoctor I have no idea what fixed it, but I left the offending bgscrl1v.itm alone and TnB isntalled with no errors! It did skip indelible familiars, is that normal?
  13. OK, I'm up to just before Tome & Blood, and can report the following: S9SoundsetsVol2 fails in EET, even with the sugegsted .2da override. This installs fine without the fix on BG2. Unless everything else goes without a hitch, I may try installing it on BG2EE pre-EET next run. YoshimoRomance:0:Yoshimo Romance and additional friendship talks for BG2 / BG2EE irritatingly requires manual intervention to choose romance availability, forcing a pause in the install order. @Lava if I get on with your proofreading, could you look into the feasibility of turning this choice into a component to allow seamless PI installation?   14. Hi @subtledoctor, do you know how FnP giving Anomen the Watcher of Helm kit will interact with NPC Kitpack giving him the Helm kit after his quest or giving him the Berserker kit? Specifically: Does Faiths_and_Powers:85:Apply FnP kits to NPCs give him the Watcher of Helm kit as standard, before his quest line? When npckit:400:Anomen Gains Helm Kit on Passing Knighthood Test tries to give him the Helm kit, will it find the FnP kit or the vanilla one? Does FnP patch or replace the old priest kits? What if I have used divine_remix:51:Remove All Kits to delete the vanilla priest kits? Will npckit:410:Anomen Gains Berserker Kit on Failing Knighthood Test replace the Watcher of Helm kit if he already has it? Also, while I'm here, if I want the Divine Remix kits, do I need to install them with Divine Remix, or are they also included in FnP? What overlap is there between divine_remix:200:Druid Remix and divine_remix:100:Cleric Remix with FnP? Do you have a list of all of the kits that Faiths_and_Powers:85:Apply FnP kits to NPCs and Faiths_and_Powers_Multiclass:99:Apply FnP multiclass kits to NPCs apply to companions?

  16. I wasn't sure if the picture standard was EET ready, but I'll add it and already have PPE. What I'm looking for is the ability to set companion portraits consistently throughout EET, using a custom set of portraits (mostly from eportraits, collected over the years). I can just dump them into override as I used to on BG2, but don't know how they will interact with all the mods or whether EET itself does anything. Happy to share if anyone wants these. I've used NPCEE and have house rules (though I don't feel that the EE companions need stat boosts much. maybe Rasaad but I'll see how he is with monk remix etc.). I guess NPCEE may be the simplest way to do it, as otherwise I'll have to find a set of mods that allow tweaks through all of EET. Ideally though, I want to set these up at the start and not have to break to respec each NPC as I pick them up.
  17. Nope, I got it on just BG2EE. I'll look out for it again this time and dig into what it is. Thanks for all of the other tips. @Cahir, I thought S9Soundsets would be fine as it has installed on BG2EE without issue, but I was wrong. I wonder whether it could install on BG2EE prior to EET? The .2da fix does not work for me applied after EET start.
  18. First error already, make sure you select the right game, DLC merger will not install on BG2EE!
  19. Inspired by @Cahir's valiant efforts, I too am embarking on an EET adventure. Here's a starting point for my install list, I am aiming for canon + all the bells and whistles, so limiting to mods that expand upon existing storylines and NPCs rather than adding new ones. The only exceptions for completely new content I'm making are @Lava's Will of the Wisps, and DSotSC and NTotSC as I've never played either. I fully expect to have to make cuts to get this to work. *Note: The below is not current, see recent comments or here.* I need to put some work into removing duplicate tweaks, and checking some specific compatibility issues but that's about the shape of it. All comments welcome. Also, in putting this together I've figured out what Mod I would build if I had the skill: A comprehensive NPC portrait, appearance. stats and class fixer for EET! Figuring out the exact set of mods to install to get my desired outcome has been particularly difficult, and I suspect I'm still not there. I have all of the portraits, a spreadsheet with the desired profiles and a list of the current mods that partially achieve it if anyone fancies a project!   23. Some of the proficiencies stuff seems to be Scales of Balance related for me. It looks like SoB resets proficiencies but some companions have them added back. What are the messed up classes and options? What else is broken? I'm 1/2 way through install, we can get a stable setup going together!
