  1. I couldn't find anything in the code that would shout at me so I think (and hope for us) it's a glitch on your install. I didn't notice similar reports until now, either, but all in all Dynaheir's quest was something that took a lot of work to make it work in a somewhat seamingless fashion (not mine, but I witnessed the procedure in the workroom) albeit it was more because Drizzt didn't really feel like participating and needed a lot of persuasion to show up at the right places at the appropriate times.
  2. The thing with reinstalling and continuing your game is: if we talk about that mod only, it would probably work. But if we talk about a modded game where the mod in question is somewhere in te middle of the install list, then it gets complicated. First, to reinstall the mod in question, weidu (or you) need to deinstall all mods that are installed after the mod in question. This is due to the backup info, because every mod makes a backup of the files it changes and thus, all mods need to be deinstalled in reverse order to set the game back to the state it was before mods were installed. Then you would remove the old mod version, install the new one, and then reinstall all your mods in the order (and with the choices) you had before. And here it not only comes down to what the new mod version has changed, but also whether there are interactions or compatibility things that might make your continued game choke. I would advise against updating a mod in that scenario, unless you have serious (game breaking) issues with it.

  4. And just to make sure this is not a misunderstanding: if for some reason you do want to install a new mod version, always deinstall the old one first, remove the old mod package and tp2 (if the latter is not inside the mod folder), before installing the new mod.
  5. @Kirussen This error message is because for some reason the detection of the correct dialogue state number for the Brilla-Skie interjection didn't work and the number returned by STATE_WHICH_SAYS is probably still "-1" which doesn't make sense for the installer. Which version are you playing? All I can offer is to attach a x#kagqst_ee.d which hopefully doesn't give this error message either by skiping this interjection or by making it more stable (albeit I have no idea how to do the latter currently). @Arvia Are you referring to the imp Ichthraa or is there another demon Winski conjurs? Which game are you on? I am confused, because: -either the mod uses game ressources (for the imp e.g. the imp01.cre from BGII -> is ENEMY upon spawn.) If not present, it takes qa mod-added cre -> is ENEMY upon spawn. For the quest/romance Winskie, the mod uses the existent winski.cre -> has class MAGE, not innocent. The ingame winski2.cre is the one for the original game encounters and is INNOCENT, so it would mean the scene you are describing is happening with the original cre.file. I'd need a bit more info on this. What is Winski's last line before he conjurs the demon?
  6. If your game runs fine, don't change it. If you update, i.e. make a new EET install, you need to start a new game.
  7. Global("B!KelQuest","GLOBAL",13) is at 13? The "he can lead us there" is quite literally, actually. You need to klick talk him at daylight, while you are in one of the city areas ( The Docks , Slums , Bridge District , Waukeen's Promenade , Graveyard , Temple District , Government District , City Gates .) Then there should be a reply option to ask him to lead you there.
  8. Despite the fact that I am maintaining the mod, I am not overly familiar with the exact quest progression. What was the last journal entry, and who are you supposed to meet in the government district?
  9. Hello, it was reported that for the peaceful solution to the werewolf island, the PC doesn't get the see charts back from Kaishas (?) and therefore the island cannot be left with the boat. (BGT game)

  13. This sounds very intriguing. "Being revealed" means people can ask "are we there yet" publicly or is it already available? And, since this a Baldur's Gate forum... Will there be space hamsters?
  14. Matter of taste, for one. And then, Keldorn is - what? - 43 or something. That might sound old for a 20-something, but all I can tell you is: wait until you reach that age - you will notice it doesn't feel as old as you imagined when you were half the age where you still thought every person over 30 is "old". You could also ask: why would a wise and ripe man of his age fall for such a young woman... (Because he is definitely not the "I'm in the midlife crisis and need a young woman at my side to prove my youthfulness" kind of man.)

  19. I'm sorry, but I can't help. I don't see any reason why three LTs should be skipped, they are just normally timer-triggered dialogues as far as I can see. Going after a German romance walkthrough (http://www.yiya.de/games/baldur2/index.htm ) the ambush of Ertof Dand after resting happened after LT "26" (~This is a dangerous life we seem to lead, it does seem. I wonder if you always think it will be so?~). After the LT the variable would be at Global("LoveTalk","LOCALS",27). But I can't recommend just setting it, because I have no idea how it is triggered (not by Global("LoveTalk","LOCALS",27) as far as I can see, so it's probably more complicated).
  20. @Cumag The attached cre is corrupted for me as well, but I can't reproduce it. I downloaded the current Windows v18, installed it to my EET game. Thanks for the report, I hope you can finish the quest. You do need one item that the slime would give you via dialogue: C#Q01002.itm in case you want to cheat it in.
  21. I have EET versions from k4thos for Kelsey and Keto on my computer but am delaying them because I wanted to add some bugfixes but am not working on them currently. Maybe I should just foreward the EET+ versions and deal with bugfixes later?!

  25. Gibberlings Three Angelo NPC for Baldur's Gate II Angelo Dosan is the fighter-turned-mage who served as your brother's henchman in Baldur's Gate. You may remember that he sentenced you to death and fought against you in the Undercity, and if you were lucky enough to mine the content, you may remember that he is Shar-Teel's father. Most likely he didn't survive your game, but people in this world seem to have a knack for not staying dead. In the Angelo NPC Mod, Angelo tracks you down in the Graveyard District to make you an offer you can't refuse (though perhaps you will). Version 7 fixes an oversight introduced in v6 that would make the Master Wraith encounter in ToB get stuck.
