  1. Thanks for the info, I am updating Edwin Romance currently. @DavidW What would the mod patch instead (in case that can be answered quickly)?
  2. @lmtr14 Content of the current version: in SoD, Imoen will remain in group only in the first dungeon. For the main campaign she will still stay behind in BG city. In BGII, she will return after the promenade fight. Both parts are installed in one go. I am working on a version where BGII and SoD parts can be installed separately. SoD full content is planned but so far no ETA.
  3. @Sam. You are aware of this thread here? Not sure whether it helps with your actual question, though.
  4. BWS is no longer supported. To have a modded game install with your chosen mods Project Infinity is your best choice.
  5. You are installing on BGT. Replace the attached 3 files with the existent in "bg1npc/phase2/dlg" and try installing again. bgtfix_v24.zip
  6. I am very sorry, I saw your requests also at BeamDog's but I don't know the answer and don't have time to dig through mod files currently.
  7. I'm sorry, that was as much as I know. Do you want me to edit the topics title to draw more attention to the current question?
  8. For original BGII, you either have to make it fit the NPCs stats and race and class (which is bound to fail eventually, with all the mods for adjusting NPCs and/or classes and kits around), or you need TobEx which gives the possibility to use such a Restrict Items effect iirc.
  9. Thanks for the info. Install tool is an interesting info. In case it's the EE Setup Tool, I do not feel responsible, and not only because there is nothing I can on this end.
  10. That's my problem, I can't reproduce it and also, I wouldn't know how it can happen in theory. I'm glad it's solved for you now, but just in case you run into this problem again, I'd be very interested in what eyactly you were installing and in what order when it occurred.
  11. I meant the quest is designed to be difgerent to what you see in game. Game: you get quest by talking to someone, see monsters or encounter evil villain and have to kill to solve quest Family Treasure quest: no monster, no evil villain, no killing, and also noone gives you a quest, and yet, it's still one.
  12. @AnibalPCR As I already wrote there is no easy fix for this. But you can help me identify the problem because I do not understand how this would happen. Please post the contents of the bg1npc.DEBUG and your weidu.log here. Which game are you on? Which version of bg1npc are you playing?
  13. SoD part is not finished, no. Hm, you could try something like evaluating MoveGlobalObject("IMOEN2",Player1) via cheat console and ctrl+q her into the party after she made her good-bye dialogue in the Duchal Palace, but I'm not sure this won't lead to problems at some point. Sorry.
  14. Also a note: upcoming v2 will have a new entry in GAME.tra (might become more):
  15. First off: thank you for translating the mod! Some useful hints for people not common with mod file structure (and I did the wrong way around while trying to be helpful): In the files string_set.tpa and string_set_ee.tpa (both in folder "tpa") you see lines that I changed from the existing ones. The string numbers are listed there are in GAME.tra. Example: in string_set.tpa there is the line: From this "48774" is the string number which in the game contains the string "I have paid out a huge amount of gold; tell me how I can find Imoen." You can look up those string numbers in your language with NI in BGII:EE (if the game as a version your language, of course). Looking into GAME.tra, you see that this line is changed to @1025 = ~I have paid out a huge amount of gold; tell me how I can find Irenicus.~
  16. Spellhold Studios Fade Fade is a shadow thief, under the employ of Aran Linvail. With her crimson hair, crimson eyes and lashing tail, she is definitely not your regular elf-on-the-street; she is a fey'ri, a part succubus with a temper to match. At first, her reasons for joining the party are unclear - is she a spy? Or something else... The mod is compatible with all BGII games: BGII, BGT, BGII:EE, and EET. Version 5.5 comes with a game-freezing fix for the EE games. Changes: -fixed a scrumbled symbol (no more freezing of game for EE) Forum Download
  17. Spellhold Studios Sarevok Romance Sarevok Anchev has been many things. Once a murderer, deceiver and despised enemy, he has become an unlikely ally to a PC facing an uncertain future. Though many facts about both his past and his former plans are common knowledge, little can be determined about his current motivations now that life has been returned to him. Has death shaken his perceptions, or merely hardened his resolve to ruthlessly seize whatever power he can take for himself? Is it possible for mortal foes to becoming something more than reluctant allies? The Sarevok Romance for Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal adds the chance for some PCs to delve deeper into the life of their former half-brother. The mod focuses on a relationship that is mostly in the hands of the PC, and can range anywhere from a friendship-like companionship, to one of mutual gain, or perhaps something more than either one expect. Sarevok remains true to his character throughout the romance, and though he is not the easiest man to get close to, it is up to the PC to determine if he is worth the effort. Sarevok can be romanced by human, half-elven and elven PCs with a CHA score higher than 11 and either an INT or a STR score higher than 13. Alignment plays no factor, and Sarevok can be romanced while the PC is in a relationship with another NPC. The mod features two romance paths, flirts, and PC initiated talks to further explore Sarevok's thoughts and past, and contains content for ToB and Watcher's Keep only. The mod is compatible with BGT, BGII, BGII:EE, and EET! Version v1.4 comes with a Russian translation by HelenAzura, Dajdre, Larite & Arcanecoast.ru! Changelog: - Added Russian translation - Updated to WeiDU v246 Forum Download
  18. True to your principles. I have to leave you that!
  19. Oh! Let me know if make money out of mods. I'm looking for a way to do so for years!
  20. Thank you very much for the feedback! Monster in Nashkel: now I have to check on the reply options. When you mentioned frustration with this component earlier I didn't realize it's not the story but the implementation. You could say the situation where the PC is accused is highly emotional so being very cautious is wise but I agree that the hostile response of the guards should be a last resort and not such a common reaction in this dialogue. Warm Place for Noober: If you look at Dudleyville (Link) you see Joseph's wife's house marked in the south. She's the one you can find the ring of her husband in the mines for. Brage's Sword: you need to pick up the letter from Borda. With this, you can talk to Oublek (reply option "about Brage...") Family Treasure: does it help if I say that this quest was supposed to be different to what is in the game otherwise? .. Thank you again for taking the time to play and give feedback to the quests!
  21. Only if you rename all files and variables to use a different prefix. Otherwise, it'll just be inofficial mirrors, how unoriginal. EDIT: I meant to quote Drakensang's post.
  22. Please do not delete any just because of what I said. The dialogues written in situations like these are usually the best.
  23. If you already wrote them I wouldn't force the number. In the end, you'll always have players who enjoy them and others who don't, no matter how many or how long. Thanks, same to you!
