  5. Maybe start with posting your weidu.log. If so many descriptions and damages weren't updated, it could also mean the mod/component didn't install properly in the first place.

I wouldn't call it the best source, not to belittle the effort Leonardo Watson puts into creating BWP, but because there is some mod updates that come with a shift in install order that might not be considered in BWP yet. There is no list for best install order you can just follow blindly, there is a pinned topic in this subforum that is trying to establish an install order (for EET, but it should also work for BGT as long as you consider that BG2Fixapck and BGT would be the first mods here).

For own journal entries, you just take the exact same text you used for adding it to the journal: EraseJournalEntry(~Text of the journal entry~) Or, if you work with tra files (which is recommended in this case, so the text is the exact same: EraseJournalEntry(@12345) The text need to match 100% with what the added journal entry was, or the journal entry will not be removed. The RESOLVE_STR_REF is for original game journal entries. There is also another way to fetch these: the func_fetch_journal_entries.tph fetches them from a dialogue state directly. It is used in the bg1re mod, for example.

  11. Hi Riordan, that's a known bug: you need to fetch feathers - again - the cook(s apprentice?) should give them to you (again), then the fletcher will coat the barrel.

  14. A belated follow-up: the "bsDoppelgangerQuest" variable is only at "19" if the quest finished without the PC (timer run out or PC didn't volunteer to help with the doppelgangers). The variable is between 15 and 18 if the PC cleared the tower and talked to the captain, depending on some other conditions. The commander only gives the thank you speech if he sees the PC. Could this be the reason why it didn't trigger for you? In next version, the commander will ask for the PC in this case.

  21. In other words: the name of the d-file is irrelevant, like I already wrote earlier. But inside, you need to define the dlg before you can add lines with CHAIN, i.e. you need to write BEGIN dlgname. This creates the dlg named dlgname, not the d-file itself. And after the CHAIN, you need to tell the installer which dlg the following states go to, so you need to wrap dialogue states into APPEND dlgname ... END to do so.
