Bri
For what it is worth, I consider it a sacriledge myself, though I only found out about it recently. Bri
Well, I only heard of this in the last day or two (hence me knowing about that clip)...at first I didn't think it would bother me. Then...I was surprised to find it rankled a little bit. Now, I admit I am a fan of the new Duck Dodgers show on the Cartoon Network...but that is in keeping with the old Looney Tunes parodies of Buck Rogers (I think they did 2-3 of them) But the feel of this superhero one...I don't think it really is going to be a parody. But, I could be mistaken. Link to comment
neriana
What paper was this in? Link to comment
NiGHTMARE
From the looks of it, the article is in Metro (the British railway system's newspaper). Link to comment
BigRob
Network executives strike again...... Extreme Loony Tunes..... ugh. As if being capable of surviving having an anvil dropped on you wasn't a superpower. Link to comment
Grim Squeaker
From the looks of it, the article is in Metro (the British railway system's newspaper). Tis indeed. Link to comment
SConrad
From the looks of it, the article is in Metro (the British railway system's newspaper). A bit OT, but Metro is actually the third largest newspaper in the world, only two Japanese ones are bigger. And it's not really the British railway system's newspaper, it does in fact have it's origin in Sweden. Link to comment
Andyr
It could be a different Metro... Link to comment
SConrad
*gasp* You're right. Metro doesn't exist in England. How do you survive? Link to comment
Moongaze
We have "Metro!" here in Holland, and it's a free paper that you can only get at subway stations. But aye...I grew up with the original Looney Tunes, and I find this to be quite disturbing when I first heard of it, several days ago. They really shouldn't... Link to comment
