Hello @morpheus562,

New possible issue with the component @300 = ~Update Weapon Fighting Styles~, "Loupgris" the same player as earlier found that the fighting style -SINGLE-WEAPON- double the THAC0 for any weapon.

(For example, by equipping a non-magical longsword with 2 slots (Specialized) in "SINGLE-WEAPON", the character got a +4 THAC0 bonus...
+2 via the proficiency and +2 on a normal and non-magical sword. )

Without the component it seems that the thac0 returns to normal... So maybe something goes wrong !

New possible issue with the component @300 = ~Update Weapon Fighting Styles~, "Loupgris" the same player as earlier found that the fighting style -SINGLE-WEAPON- double the THAC0 for any weapon.

(For example, by equipping a non-magical longsword with 2 slots (Specialized) in "SINGLE-WEAPON", the character got a +4 THAC0 bonus...
+2 via the proficiency and +2 on a normal and non-magical sword. )

Without the component it seems that the thac0 returns to normal... So maybe something goes wrong !

It is hard to say without seeing it, but this component doesn't do anything funky to alter this weapon style. What race is the character? If elf, is the elven bonus calculated in? Are the strength bonuses calculated in? What about long sword/large sword proficiency bonus?

@JohnBobAs a follow up, I checked and am seeing:

  • Base Thac0: 20
  • Strength Modification: -1
  • Proficiencies: -1
  • Long Sword: -2
  • Single-Weapon Style: -2

With all that, I am only showing a Thac0 of 16 which is the correct Thac0 the character should have. So it appears to be a printing error with my UI double showing a bonus (drangonspear UI++); however, the calculations are correct. Please verify that the numbers are adding up correctly for the other player.

Loupgris seems pretty sure about this, he did several tests and here is his answer...
(No Dragonspear UI or other UI)
 



Base Thac0: 16
Strength Modification: 0
Proficiencies: -1
Katana: -2 (katana +2)
Single-Weapon Style: 0

With two stars it becomes:
Base Thac0: 16
Strength Modification: 0
Proficiencies: -1
Katana: -4 (katana +2)
Single-Weapon Style: -2

So, single weapon style add -2 on the weapon and -2 on single weapon style // total -4 Thac0 it should be only -2

 


I do not know well this rules of the game so I can't help or test myself...

What does his final Thac0 come out to? If I am looking at it correctly, it should come out to 11 with two stars in Single-Weapon Style.

Allow Inquisitors to Cast Divine Spells: What should be the install order of this component and other mods which change Paladin caster level and spell progression?

For Detect Illusions 100, what say you to making that number 250 to gain the extra benefits from Epic Thieving?

At what level and how often can a Paladin use the revised Turn Undead?  How is Rebuke Undead affected?

Does the Archery skill apply to thrown weapons like throwing axes?  If so, pweath list that!

As @subtledoctor suspected, there is a difference between the inventory display and the real effects....

But... It seems that some bonus are not implemented, If Base Thac0: 14 ... -2 single weapon, -2 large sword, -1 strenght, should become thac0: 9, no?

All that looks right to me and. The -2 longsword is a duplicate from the single weapon style, so the 11 thac0 you're seeing in the character screen is correct. Additionally, the combat logs is showing the correct numbers. I think it is just how the game displays the numbers behind the thac0 that is off, but all the calculations look correct.
