  1. I have discovered my error. Haiss' Chew toy is the one that is lacking the Droppable flag when it should. Jugue.itm. Edited the post above to correct my mistake.
  2. A possible bug with Haiass. @jasteyHaiass's Chew Toy (JUGUE.ITM) is flagged as a critical item (can't be dropped or sold), however it can't be moved in my character's inventory either because it does not have the droppable flag checked as well. This is a minor annoyance because your character may have a full or partially full inventory when you first get the whistle and it may end up stuck in an inventory slot that causes OCD irritation on the part of the player. Attached the fixed item that can be dropped into Haiass/ITM folder in the mod installer folder. jugue.itm
  3. I discovered which mod added T-Bone01. Haiass. @jastey
  4. I tried using generalized biffing of both the lightweight and heavy duty variants. The lightweight version didn't make any difference during character creation and the game would still momentarily hang each time the auto-roller rolled the dice. They heavy duty version actually did make a bit of a difference at reducing the initial pause when starting a new character creation, but did not eliminate the problems with the auto-roller. I'm running an i5-4690k and I'm guessing my computer isn't quite beefy enough to run the auto-roller with the number of mod files I have without problems.
  5. I started a playthrough with both Haiss and Grey installed. They actually work pretty well together and aren't just the same type of character. Haiss is presented as having a much closer bond with CHARNAME than Grey does by default, and this actually works with how quiet Haiss ends up being in character interactions whereas Grey is noticed and talked about by a lot more NPCs. A couple of ideas came to me from the hour or so I've spent with both in the same party. There's some interesting potential for "banter" content since they both are likely familiar with each other both having been raised in Candlekeep. One is a wolf that has been hand raised, the other is a warhound. They'll have similar, but different enough reactions to many things. If Haiss is in the party, it would be interesting if Grey was tied a bit more closely to being a companion for Imoen. All the hooks are there to make this connection a bit stronger and it would help differentiate Haiss and Grey if they were both in the party. Maybe even go as far making Grey go with Imoen by default if she is dropped from the party (only if Haiss is also in/following the party).
  6. Separate from that, I've noticed that leveling up thief characters I can still spend points in single increments. It appears as though Doesn't do anything. Is there any file I can check to see if it is installed correctly?
  7. Override version of HPWiz.2da gives the following 2DA V1.0 0 SIDES ROLLS MODIFIER 1 7 1 0 2 4 1 0 3 4 1 0 4 4 1 0 5 4 1 0 6 4 1 0 7 4 1 0 8 4 1 0 9 4 0 2 10 4 0 2 11 4 0 2 12 4 0 2 13 4 0 2 14 4 0 2 15 4 0 2 16 4 0 1 17 4 0 1 18 4 0 1 19 4 0 1 20 4 0 1 21 4 0 1 22 4 0 1 23 4 0 1 24 4 0 1 25 4 0 1 26 4 0 1 27 4 0 1 28 4 0 1 29 4 0 1 30 4 0 1 31 4 0 1 32 4 0 1 33 4 0 1 34 4 0 1 35 4 0 1 36 4 0 1 37 4 0 1 38 4 0 1 39 4 0 1 40 4 0 1 This also looks like it should be giving a lot more HP.
  8. Regarding the 1 hp Vienxay character after leveling up and likely the low HP Jaheira, here are the mods that modified Vienxay's .cre file So the HP weirdness may very well be a function of an interaction between SBO Hit Dice Overhaul and Improved NPC customization. For reference, Vienxay's original HP was 6 in her mod folder X3Vien.cre file. She has STR 15, Dex 17, Con 10, Int 18, Wis 10, Cha 11 The version in the Override folder has 10 hp, and the same stats. I did not have "max HP at first level" turned on in the options. She had more HP when I first met her, but after I leveled her up from 0 she went to 0/1 hp and even after raised at a temple only had 1 hp. Here is the same check for Jaheir.cre As CamDawg said, it doesn't appear as though ToB-Style NPCs has interacted directly with either .cre file
  9. Another thing related to the Vienxay only having 1 HP upon joining. Jaheira only had 4 hp when she joined the party (although Khalid had 17 I think.) With 17 constitution, I think what is happening is that some of the NPCs are not getting their level 1 HP and are instead only getting their bonus HP based on their constitution. I'm wondering if this is an interaction between Scales of Balance - Hit Dice Overhaul - Revised HP progression Closer to Average and Tweaks Anthology - ToB Style NPCs Strangely enough Helga, Montaron, and Xzar all had normal HP totals (Xzar actually had 7 HP which is higher than I remember)
  10. Another bug report: Vienxay in my game is fine when she joins my party, however I am using the ToB NPC option in the Tweaks Anthology and once I level her up so she is 1/1 thief/mage in her class levels she changes to have 0/1 HP. I'm guessing that there's an interaction that isn't working well between these mods. I'm thinking I might want to remove ToB NPCs since it seems to be involved in a lot of issues and I already have enough mods that are interacting with the leveling process.
  11. I just checked the readme of Scales of Balance and realize that this is because of It looks like I should probably choose one or the other. I think there may also be a conflict with the Tweaks Anthology ToB Style NPCs, which results in being allowed to choose a lot more weapon proficiencies than I should be allowed. On further consideration, I realize that ToB style NPCs is going to result in a lot of extra proficiencies, since it sets the NPC level to 0 and allows the player to level the character up, but WPO may not take this into account. My install order has ToB Style NPCs install first for what it is worth.
  12. I don't get the message every time I load the game either. It seems harmless, though it'd be nice to track down the cause.
  13. More issues. When I got Grey, I tried out the SCS added innate that lets me change the kit/class of an NPC. However, I ended up cancelling out without selecting any new kit. After saving, exiting, and reloading I do no longer have the kit selection innate available on Grey or on any of the other NPCs I have gotten since (Imoen, Xzar, Montaron). They all have had two innates that let them select a weapon/style proficiency and the thief characters (Imoen, Montaron) both have several innates that let them add +5% to one or more thief skills. I'm not sure how many of these selections are because I have the "Use ToB style NPCs" option from the Tweaks Anthology and how many are related to SCS. @CamDawg, @DavidW. Party AI is turned on (SCS Ease of Use).
  14. Does/can SharTeel also check the race field? I guess the other question is if the "other" is a default gender string or if it is something you add. Right now it stands out slightly because it is all lower case while all the other gender fields on characters start with a capital letter. If you added the text "other", then you could change that field so it says "Male dog" or just "Dog". Separate from all that, there's some potential for some cross-mod banter between Grey and Haiss. I'm expecting a lot from their discussions!
  15. Next thing to comment on: Grey ( @jastey) has his gender listed as "other" on the character screen. Also, his level up screen allows me to put points into all the various weapon styles. I suspect that this is an interaction with @subtledoctor's scale of balance component and the Grey companion mod. It may be related somewhat to how the Wolfhound Kit is set up. Also for Grey, a few typo and phrasing corrections from the dialogue I've seen so far.
  16. I did the small fedex quest in Candlekeep for Recorder (fetched the paladin, went back to Recorder, they walked away together), however while I was given the potion as a reward my journal was not updated and no xp reward was given. A minor thing. Hull, the guard in Candlekeep is presented as being only a couple of years older than CHARNAME in BG1 Romantic Encounters, however the Portraits Portraits Everywhere mod uses a picture that looks older than Keldorn. @jastey @smeagolheart Not game-breaking, but a minor inconsistency. The install order I've used places PPE after BG1 Romantic Encounters based on the recommendations in the readmes.
  17. Loading my game, I was greeted by the random message I suspect that this was due to @subtledoctor's Might & Guile ~MIGHT_AND_GUILE/MIGHT_AND_GUILE.TP2~ #0 #245 // Revised Movement Bonuses (Quickstride): 4.8 This is not expected behaviour since I still haven't left Candlekeep.
  18. I've got SCS and aTweaks both installed on a Enhanced Edition Trilogy game. After EET end I have the following mods installed This is working fine and it all installed correctly. SCS actually requires most components to be installed after EET_End and aTweaks is one of the few exceptions in that it should mostly be installed after SCS. Note that the Smarter Mages in SCS and the aTweaks PnP Fiends components may not work well together due to some changes in the last couple of versions of SCS (to make the mod better) and because aTweaks is no longer actively maintained. For general reference, my optimized install order is attached below. BG EET Final.txt
  19. Things to report so far. Faydark's Autoroller hangs briefly each time the game rolls the dice for me during character creation. When I didn't have as many mods installed it ran smoothly. My override folder is 2.75 GB in size with >73,000 files so this could be a part. I wonder if biffing my override would help at all. It might just be better for me to not use it/remove it from my install the next time around due to the large number of mods. So far, walking around and talking to people in Candlekeep has worked fine. I've run into Haiss, Grey, BG1Romantic Encounters, Recorder, and BG1Banter Pack content (I think) and it all has worked properly. I now realize that Dark Sun mode means everyone gets a wild talent, and not just a % chance of that happening. Another thing to tweak on my next playthrough. Alec, the childhood friend from the BG1 Romantic Encounters component Immediately gulps a potion upon you starting a new game. I think this is an interaction with SCS and Romantic Encounters. Not game breaking, but a bit odd immersionwise. @DavidW @jastey.
  20. My install is complete with no errors or non-harmless warnings. BG1 pre-EET Weidu-BGEE.log BG2 Install Weidu.log Tomorrow I get to start in-game troubleshooting. The character creation should mostly work since I've already done a bunch of testing there. I've had to shave off a bunch of mods I wanted to use as well as some components just because they weren't stable, had a conceptual or technical incompatibility or were a little too janky in presentation for what I'm trying to do with this install base. WeiDU.log BG EET Final.txt WeiDU-BGEE.log
  21. That said, reports about what works and what doesn't always helps.
  22. Here is the IESDP page for the music format and it has some of the filenames you could try checking. https://gibberlings3.github.io/iesdp/file_formats/ie_formats/mus.htm
  23. Is the music a specific area music that isn't working? Another way to figure out what is affecting it is to look up the music file name and then running the changelog tool to see which mods have modified that file.
  24. It might also be worthwhile checking to see if music has been turned off in the options. As for EET-End, it is possible to uninstall and then make changes followed by a reinstall without too many problems. I used this a lot when sorting out my kit mods and making sure they looked good in character creation as well as not having conceptual overlaps. I find that if I have to go more than halfway back, I end up nuking the whole install and starting over.
  25. I'm wondering if it is caused by the order you've installed the mods. There's a number of optimizations I can see that you can make. One big one though, would be installing LEUI right after EET and not after EET-End. I've attached my current install order in case it helps. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but the LEUI one may be a cause somehow. BG EET Final.txt
