Avenger
I can play sound just fine. What OS you got? Vista or XP? There is a DLTCEP option which slightly alters how sound is played. Maybe check that too. Link to comment
Lord-Jyssev
Vista. I'll tinker in the settings to see if I can find a fix. Link to comment
Avenger
I've never tested it in Vista. Maybe you'll need to set a compatibility setting in Vista (if there is one). Link to comment
Lord-Jyssev
Afraid it's still not working. I've tried running as an administrator + compatibility with XP, then tried each separately with the same result of no voiceset sounds. If you don't have Vista, I imagine this probably won't get fixed. I wonder if other Vista users are having the same problems, or if it's just me. Link to comment
zefklop
I have win2k8 at home. Never tried to play sound though. I'll try if you want, but be patient, this won't be before september! You can send me a PM at this time if you want. Link to comment
Constantine
I must say that editing area overleys is the real pain in the butt. I'd like to see the feature of making overleys by drawing the polygon and filling it with overley, much like in IEEP (but IEEP itself cannot do it). Is it possible to do something about it? Avenger
I thought i have this already, maybe it works only in the aux map editor... It is possible to do. Link to comment
zefklop
Avenger: I don't know how you save DLTCEP configuration, but it would be nice if it did not require administrator priviliege. Hint: if this is with a file, the appdata variable is a direcory very suitabe for this kind of stuff, if it is from registry, you should use HKCU instead of HKLM. Link to comment
Avenger
It is a file, and normally goes to the same directory you installed DLTCEP in. At least on XP. Vista sux. I would test this on Windows 7 first, if that works, then lets forget Vista. Link to comment

Miloch
This is one of the oldest unfulfilled wishes I'd second it. I get around it by launching DLTCEP multiple times or using NI, but either alternative is annoying. Edit: while I'm here, I don't know if I've noted before but while editing search maps, the actual overlay can be off sometimes by 1 or even 2 squares on the grid. Makes a difficult task even more difficult . Link to comment
zefklop
Just some update on the sound problem. I can't get wavc files to play on w2008, but acm files are fine. Don't know the problem though. Link to comment

If you draw a polygon (as wallgroup) then click on 'make overlay' then it does this. It is in dltcep for a long long time. Link to comment
