Andyr
Those of you who do not have English as your first language, do you visit any other modding communities in your mother tongue? Link to comment
Domi
I was banned from one of the native-language communituies (for debating Solaufein's alignment from all things), but I do visit another once in a while - it's a slow one though. I also peek into La Couronne from time to time to see how Mathrim is faring Link to comment
Meira
I don't even know if there is any communities in my language. *blushes in shame* So... No, I don't. Link to comment
Mahault
That's a big no here too. As Domi said, foreign language communities are often slow and uneventful. Especially when you are one of only about 5 million speakers, 4.999.990 of which aren't interested in modding, well...sad thing yeah? Link to comment
Smoketest
Since I wasn't born in the UK, you might say I didn't learn proper English when growing up. However, I do visit forums that are based on the version of English that I did learn. Link to comment
jester
Sometimes Rosenranken and ClanDlan when I feel kinky. Link to comment
Andyr
So, what, we're not kinky enough for you? Link to comment
Echon
Nope. I have never heard of a Danish modding community. -Echon Link to comment
jester
Andyr: Always Echon: Yup it is right here with the Finnish one. Link to comment
Mahault
Bottom line, English is the language of preference for modding communities. Why? 'Cause all we can speakings it so much good! Link to comment
Domi
That reminds me waaay back when someone wanted to translate TS into Mandarin... I wondered for a long time if they did, but never could check... Link to comment
icelus
Someone mentioned that a Russian translation was in progress (at some point or another) at aerie.ru, but, with the cyrillic alphabet stuff, it's hard to really know what's going on. I wouldn't even begin to try to decipher a Chinese or Japanese site. Link to comment
Caedwyr
Speaking of translations, it'd be nice if some of the non-english language mods were translated into english. There are a couple that this has been done for, but there is a large majority that remain untranslated. Link to comment
Andyr
Yeh, I have been helping with Return to Trademeet but have been busy recently. FYI the guy's called Al17 and the site I think it rtt.liberto.it. Link to comment
icelus
There are a few German mods that look interesting, as well. I think Caswallon is too busy translating the stuff we're throwing at him, though. Link to comment
