I am trying to install SoD2BG2 IU along with some other Item and spell content mods (Rogue Rebalancing, Item Revisions, Spell Revisions, IWD spells from SCS, and some orher item content mods...). I have hard time organising the loard order to minimize warnings... I have a lot of warnings when i install Sod2BG2 IU and i really don't know where to place this mod and to understand if those warnings need to be considered or not. If anyone could give a look ; i join a condensed debug file. Debug-test.txt
  2. Thanks for the repply. I am building my own EET install to fit my personal taste. I initialy put RR Item related components after IR Items because i read somewhere : "The Short Sword of Backstabbing will not be modified if IR is detected (to avoid duplication)" I obviously don't know if this assumption is still relevant or not... I will try to install the other way. By the way is there somewhere (even outdated) a file listing for each item, the vanilla, IR and IR Revisited stats ?

  4. Preparing my next EET install and planning to use either IR or your version IR Revisited. Would you summarize the main differences between those two ? Is it EET compatible ?
  5. Testing many mods to prepare my next EET install. I made some test with SR R along with Sod2BG2 UI, IWDification and LotLM. It seems that things are messy. I also did the same test with SR instead and it was better. I join the debug files. What are the main differences between SR and your SR Revisited ?   7. I am working at the item section and i have been looking at your load order as i include most of your item mods (and some more with in particular RR items). Any particular reason to put Item Upgrades (Weimer's) not in the item section and with quest mods ? I promise this is my last request for today. I am trying to arrange my item section before going futher. Would you also give a look at my item order below (and component choices) and let me know ? By the way this an EET install so it will include BGEE item mods too.   8. I am also working on a "big" EET install. Below is the beginning of my load order and notes. This part is pretty solid (from my point of view but i am not an experienced modder). I recommend almost all the BG1 mods included in the following list and i won't go without a GUI like LeUI.   9. For me SRR was refering to Bartimaeus' SRR Thanks for the load order. It completes what i have. In particular i wasn't sure about IR Store Revisions. I like the description from the readme but i was almost ready to remove it because it is also supposed to be Incompatible with mods that add new items into vanilla stores (from the readme???). Any confirmation about this ? I also put MSfM with other item mods including IR's main component.

When you extract a mod, you have to make sure that each extracted mod folder contains : - setup-"modname".exe -"modrname" folder - Inside the "modname" folder, you also have a "modrname".tp2 file. Nb: the key here is, this is the same "modname" for all 3. Nb : the mod folder can have any name. For example: You download Spell Revisions (.exe or .zip; it doesn't matter). After extracting with 7zip for example you should get a folder with a name (like Spell_Revisions-v4b18; you are free to change its name). Within that mod folder you should find : a modname folder (here it is spell_rev) and a file setup-spell_rev.exe. Within the spell_rev folder there is a .tp2 file called spell_rev.tp2 Master version of mods may come without this setup-modname.exe next to the "modname" folder. In that case you copy the last version of the weidu.exe (weidu installer) and you rename it. You will find the latest version of the wiedu installer here : https://github.com/WeiDUorg/weidu/releases/tag/v249.00 I download : WeiDU-Windows-249-x86.zip. You look for the weidu.exe. This is the weidu installer to use.
  11. Mix was refering to what you said above. Now i understand what you meant. You mainly installed v4b19. Does your mod "Subtledoctor’s Random Tweaks" is also included in this v4b19 ? If not i will definitely look at your tweak mod at one point. Thanks for the precision. I tend to forget about that. I just did an install with v4b19 (i guess the Docs folder within the master folder can be deleted; and i created the missing setup-spell_exe with the last version of weidu.exe). I am going to go with this v4b19 version. I will probably check Bart’s changes in the future (for now SRR seems to mess up with IWDification and TotLM as shown in the debug above). At the moment i still go with [SCS IWD spell pack + IWDification other components] but i will probably install the other components i want somewhere else in my load order (not in the spell section). My objective to build my own personal EET is really time consuming as i am almost ignorant about programming and modding, but i really can't just applied a load order from an experienced modder. I am keeping track of everything i am doing to share the whole process with the community. thanks for your extended patience and time. One last question : in my load order, should i put the Item section before or after the Spell section? I have seen both options implemented and i don't know which one is less "conflictual".

As i had some issues with SOD2BG2, SR or SRR, IWDification and LotLM, i am doing some tests focusing on those mods on a clean BG2EE. - I know that i want to include some Spell Revisions (SR or SRR or a "mix"). What is the main difference between those two ? I don't know which one to consider. - I also want to complete with IWD spells (without getting annoying doublons). At the moment i am going with IWDification over SCS IWD spell versions because i may be interested by some other components from IWDification. - I didn't install 55 - Spell Deflection blocks AoE spell form SR/SRR because i read that it is not compatible with IWDification. I did one install with SR and an other one with SRR for comparaison. They both show warnings or errors within the debug files and i don't know what to do next. It looks quite ok with SR (beside some warnings that could be harmelss) but i have major issues with the SRR install. Would you give a look at both if you have some time ?   14. Just to report and check if i my assumptions are relevant. I have been testing your mods and i had an "esthetic annoying issue" with the "Enable timer module" component of EEex. Playing a Paladin was making the timer to be permanent ? I guess there are some contingency interval routines on the background related to the paladin abilities ? We end up with a most probably permanent green vertical bar next to the NPC portrait going up and down in cycles of around 10s. In my case the temporary solution should be to remove this component.

With Project Infinity, i have a mod that seems to come from nowhere : kalah - Andyr's Kalah expansion component for Unfinished Business From PI this mod has been extracted from \ub-v28\ub I've found nothing about this UB "submod" in the UB readme. Within Kalah folder there is a kalah.tp2 (in the same folder with setup_kalah_what_he_was_promised.tpa). And PI treats this kalah.tp2 as a separate mod. Does anyone know what this mod do ? I installed both UB and this kalah mod with PI (there is no other way to install kalah). And we get an install error for Kalah! If you are using PI you should probably ignore this kalah mod.

  17. I was just checking my "work in progress" EET load order, and i found out that Ajantis BG1 Expansion is installed after Sir Ajantis NPC for BGII by Jastey. I moved Sir Ajantis NPC for BGII to be installed before Hidden Adventures (for the "Anomen's extended plot"), and also before BG1NPC Project (as the second optional component will install the BeamDog inventory BAM for Ajantis' family shield (green dragon on golden ground). If not installed, the BG1NPC Project shield graphic will be used) Ajantis BG1 Expansion, on the other hand should be installed after Endless BG1, Transitions and after BG1NPC Project (as indicated in the readme). I was wondering, as i usually try to install an NPC mod for BG1 before its "continuation" mod for BG2. To get to the point : is it a problem to install Ajantis for BG1 after Ajantis for BG2 ? Any issue with the continuity ? Both mods also propose alternative kits for Ajantis. Should i just eventually select an alternative for Ajantis BG1 and don't select any kit for Ajantis BG2 ?
  18. I usually do a "clean" installation before launching any mod installation. I avoid using the uninstall function from PI as i had some weird results in the past. I just delete both BGEE and BG2EE folders dedicated to EET and past saved copies of both already launch versions. I also do "multiple" install to get 3 games : BGEE, BG2EE and EET. By doing this i can easily test a BGEE or a BG2EE prior to any EET consideration. This time it seems that all compents have been installed without warnings. I did one more manipulation: i also delete the "Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition Trilogy" located in documents (which contains .lua file and the "save" folder. Thanks @Gwaihir for the precision. I do join the "full" debug just in case. I also take advantage of this post to ask for some "minor" advices or recommandations regarding the first part of my EET installation : 1/ "40 - Restored Bhaalspawn Powers" : there is also a version of this component in BG1 UB. Any reason to install one in particular ? And i guess the last installed is going to overwrite the one installed fiirst. 2/ Expanded Epilogues for Bioware NPCs. There are two options : "60 - David Gaider's expanded epilogues for Bioware NPCs" or "61 - Alternate epilogues by Shawne" I really don't know which one to choose. Considering that i haven't played ToB yet and that i am quite enjoying expanded content, which would you advice me to select ? (i know it is about personal taste but i am open to your feedbacks). 3/ The list below is the first part of my install order and i will complete it with a large number of mods (all my gratitude to @Caedwyr, @Cahir, @4udr4n , @subtledoctor, @Gwaihir for their threads).   24. I am preparing an EET install with Project Infinity Due to PI being very slow, i divide my installation preparation in few parts. For each part there is a corresponding Installsequence.csv Do i have to uninstall EET_end before installing the next part and then reapply EET_end ... Or can i keep my installation on top of EET_end and then reapply EET_end to do some tests before continuing.
