    If you manage to figure out if Storm Caller Shaman is the culprit, let me know. I have added this one to my list, but if there is compatibility issue, I can definitely live without it. 

  2. OK guys, here is the current incarnation of my install order. It may (and probably will) change a bit during my next test install. I removed some mods and tweaks and add a bunch (Will to Power, M&G feats and a bunch of @Ulb's shaman kits). Notice that SoD to BG2EE Item Upgrade is not the list, because I already installed it on BG2EE. At the moment I removed T&B's Improved Familiar, but if the missing icon bug will happen to be fixed, I'm gladly put it back on the list. If not I'll probably use MSFM version. It's a shame that the third familiar mod (I believe it's @Salk's is not EET compatible, because this looks really fun).

    As always feel free if you find something not right.

    Also can anyone confirm (or not) if EE version of Turnabout is in fact compatible also with EET?

    There are so many classes and kits to choose from, that it gives me a headache :) But the notion of playing dragon disciple of clan Morueme origin was growing in my head for a couple of years now. BUT, I also seriously consider playing Magus instead. If only the casting speed penalty wasn't that severe...

    What version of Wings are you using. I get errors all over with the official one, grudgingly tried Roxanne's and it installs without so much as a warning.

    BGSCRL1V.itm is *not* in my override folder.  So it is not added by IR4b10.  Or at least, not on plain BG2EE.  Just looking at the filename, I assume it is something to do with EET - maybe SCRL1V.itm are different between BGEE and BG2EE, so EET makes this one as the BG1 version?  Or, some other mod does something like that?  I haven't had time to look.  (Especially since the file doesn't exist for me... :laugh: )

    * Well, I've had one or two problems.  A couple mods didn't have .tp2 files, or not inside the mod folder where I expected them (questpack, alora, wings), and one or two lacked Mac-specific files (Saerileth and I think Isra).  And I had a hiccup where Faiths & Powers druids would not install.  I think that is only on my current workign version of FnP, not in the release; the bug was due to the work I have done fixing the Hivekeeper's spirit animal summon.  (In the current release it summons a spirit snake, a mix-up from the old 'Jungle Druid' kit; it should be a spirit spider.) If you guys want to wait til tonight, I can have a new version of FnP uploaded with the fixed Hivekeeper summon.

    I'll wait, no problem. Currently I'm browsing through my list again to see which tweaks can be cut. Probably will run next test install over the weekend. 

    I have installed both IR and IRR and only error I've had was on IRR. This was the one reported in IRR topic. But this has to be some incompatibility with one of the mods from my list, because installation on clean EET went smoothly.

    Probably an order of command in tp2. At some point it will be fixed, if that's the issue. Was already fixed (I think) in Foundling, however mod users didn't get back to me with an info... most often that means "fixed and I will just continue playing".

    @Lava the Foundling issue was fixed, at least installation error (didn't play Foundling yet). I've had the same error using 4.3 which was gone in 4.4.

    Hmm that's actually a very good question. I think this should be a core feature of EET, would be surprised if it didn't work as granted.

    @Cahir, I thought S9Soundsets would be fine as it has installed on BG2EE without issue, but I was wrong. I wonder whether it could install on BG2EE prior to EET?

    If you install it on BG2EE prior to EET I don't think you could select them to your PC when you start the EET game from BGEE. This should not be an issue for SoD to BG2EE Item Import because this is strictly BG2EE mod and it doesn't add anything to BGEE part.

    Do you remember which tweak let you set the cap you mentioned? I remember I saw such a tweak, but I can't find it anymore. AFAIK Tweaks Anthology allows only for unlimited capacity.

    I don't think the mod has an option to change him to fighter... but it can make him into a fighter/thief.  There is a bit of a roundabout way to make him into a Wizard Slayer if you like:

    1) Open NPC_EE.tp2 and go to lines 1181 and 1183.  Change ~d5thkit~ to ~d5fikit~ in both places.

    2) Install NPC_EE, make Valygar into a fighter/thief

    3) Have Valygar use the kit-switch ability and choose Wizard Slayer. 

    Now you have a Wizard Slayer multiclass fighter/thief.  (Note, he will receive basic F/T HLAs, not any HLAs specific to the Wizard Slayer kit.)

    I could probably add an option to make Valygar into a straight fighter, just need to find the time.  Maybe I can get to it before your install is settled.  Maybe...

    Dont worry I have beed waiting to do this fun for many years, I can wait a bit more if I can have an easy way to convert him to WS (especially since I don't think thief part fits him)

    Hmm, maybe give it a couple of different attacks to choose from. For instance you can switch from Chromatic orb to Magic Missile or to something more. In PnP Staff of the Magi is an artifact IIRC and it seems that it should be very versatile item, that a mage can use to defend himself in very different situations. So giving it a couple of 1st level spells to chose from as a range attack would be cool. But this could make it OP, so maybe not unlimited but a resonable amout of daily uses, not to much and not to few, so it can be useful.

    Those are the four routes to becoming a psion.

    For the Chaos Sorcerer, you will need to make Neera into a normal sorcerer, then NPC_EE should be able to change into a Chaos Sorcerer.  Now that you mention it, I think I will make this same change!  Although, I don't think NPC_EE has a component to change Neera into a sorcerer... does it?  I think it will have to be done manually.  She will have the kit-switch ability anyway, so this can be done manually after you are done with the mod installs, but before you enter the area where you meet Neera.

    EDIT -  looking at the Chaos Sorcerer kit, I actually don't love it.  Too-harsh penalties to STR and CON, weird bonuses to DEX and saves... eh, I think I will probably just make Neera a sorcerer but have her keep the Wild Mage wizard kit.

    Erm, I see on my list that I've chosen Neera as a Sorcerer from... your very own NPC_EE (component 621). So it seems you've already thought about that 😛

    Personally, I think sorcerer fits her story way more than mage, and Chaos Sorcerer is just perfect. There is a component from Artemius House Rules that bumps up a bit stats of EE NPC's (Neera gets +2 CON and +1 INT), so at least CON decrease will be nullified. Besides, I'm not so accustomed to all that mechanical nuances, so I couldn't teel if DEX bonuses are weird or not 😛

    Btw is there a chance to convince you adding two more options in NPC_EE for Valygar: one option Wizard Slayer, second option Mage Hunter from one of your mods (FnP or MnG I think)? I think both fit him well more than plain ranger.

    First: you choose a psion kit in the single-class thief, fighter, ranger, or wizard class.  The psion kits are strictly multiclasses (multiclass clerics, to be precise), but I didn't want them to be lost among a hundred multiclass cleric kits added by Faiths & Powers, plus it just seems weird looking in the clerics section to be a psion.

    (Wow, I just realized, this would be an amazing option for Valygar - psionics being self-powered and kind of the antithesis of magic.  And he's already a single-class ranger, so it would probably be pretty easy to set him up as a Psypher...)

    Ok but do I need to start as fighter to convert NPC to Soulblade or Thief to covnert him to Psypher, ot can I start from any other single class? Or if I want to change Neera from current Wild mage to Chaos sorcerer from @argent77's mod, can I change it directly from wild mage or can I need to set her up as a sorcerer first and then change it to Wild Sorcerer using NPC_EE magic?

    BTW. I think Cerebremancer is missing from EET_NPC readme. Otherwise I would probably instantly thought about it as a one of options for Neera 😀

    On the other hand, maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe it would work fine!  It's really hard to say.  Just keep in mind, you can only ever have one kit.  Taking a kit on your dual-class would remove the first kit (wild mage, in this case).  I don't know what that would do to her Wild Mage characteristics, like chance of wild surge or casting level variations. I also don't know how you would do it.  I guess there are a couple ways:

    1) Have Neera dual-class to cleric, then advance to get her mage class back, then give her the d5_mckt.spl NPC_EE ability, and use it to get the Cerebremancer psion kit.  I'm not sure if this would actually work.

    2) Since Neera is already a mage, and the Cerebremancer kit starts as a mage kit (then it automatically turns you into a cleric/mage), you could simply have Neera use NPC_EE to change to a Cerebremancer, and then use the "activate psionics" ability.  This would be a lot like dualling her into a psion, so you could simply play as a wild mage as long as you want, and wait to use the NPC_EE ability when you want to dual.  Note, her wizard class will continue advancing after doing this, unlike a real dual-class. BUT, I don't know if any aspect of her wild mage class would remain.  This could be bad - if you get to keep NRD but you're not a wild mage...

    If you're not going to have anyone else use the Cerebremancer kit, you could go into kitlist.2da and add the wild mage usability bit to the cerebremancer.  Basically, find the cerebremancer kit in the list, and in the column that looks like "0x000040__" change it to "0x800040__"

    No guarantees on any of this, but if you want to mess around, you might end up having fun.

    IIRC, proficiency strings are controlled by the string references in the NAME_REF and DESC_REF columns in WEAPPROF.2da.  You can edit those manually with any decent text editor... but you have to input the number of a valid string in DIALOG.tlk.  If you want to define the strings yourself, it might require adding new strings to DIALOG.tlk.  The best way to do that is with Weidu.  But, with Weidu, it is pretty damn simple.  You sound like you're still a few days or so away from having your installation settled and complete; in the intervening time, I'll see if I can whip up a little mod that will let you define the strings yourself.

    Yeah, that part with Neera sounds commplicated :p I think I'll change her to something simpler. Question: to be able to change her kit via NPC_EE last component to class-specific Psion kit, do I need to change her kit via some other mod to a kit from the same class or I can change her kit from any other kit? For example if I want to change her to a Soulblade do I need to change her class to fighter or a fighter kit first or not?

    As for the second topic, you're my man! Yes I'm definitely days before I complete my set up Especially that I have limited amount of time during the week for this. So I'll be doing my next test over the weekend.
