Breagar NPC mod for BG1 and BGII (Kerzenburgforum)

I also noted that I was not getting this endless loop dialogue in BG2 with the many many NPCs I had added, but immediately started getting it again when I reached TOB. Also a quick  search suggests that "Why do you wish to waste my time with idle banter" might be a vanilla phrase from the game; see

SetDialogue ("Myself") doesn't help anything.

What I was able to figure out is that something/script changes Breagar override script and dialog file and this causes the endless loop issue. Not even manually changing the script and dialogue file for Breagar npc inside the save file will revert it because this unknown script keeps changing breagar dlg and script. Unless I identify this faulty script I am condemned to be Breagarless.

Minimal mod setup still the same bug occurs. I am literally pulling my hair out. I thought that if I started anew the glitch wouldn't sneak in. I even skipped Breagar's crossmod and PID content. I crossed out components that weren't present in the previous weidu log where the same bug occured so they are safe bet they don't cause it. Is my PC cursed?

EDIT: I installed the EET_END and Breagar dialogue fired correctly without endless loop. I guess something must have got broken in the previous install. At least this give me hope that Breagar will work correctly now! I even know which dialogue it was suppose to be that endless loop overridden.

Is it normal for Breagar and other modded added NPCs banters to go into endless loop when EET_End is not installed? Without EET_End installed it will do it on the minimal setup I posted above. I had not exactly same issue but something similar with Minsc in BG2. His dialogue for joining in Irenicus dungeon was broken and he wouldn't not be able to to join the party. After EET_END install everything worked.

Ascalon's Breagar updates to 12.1.0, with minor fixes and improvements. Thank you @CamDawg for the tweak that prevents two-handed weapons to be equipped on EE if it shouldn't be possible story wise.

Changelog:
    -EE: Breagar can't equip two-handed weapons where appropriate due to story reasons, by CamDawg
    -EET: Breagar should spawn in ID if he was in party in SoD
    -Fixed trigger for comment in SoD bd4300.
    -updated crossmod with Another fine Hell mod

Hi jastey! I have, kind of a weird request. I'm on a new computer with a new OS (Linux, yeah I know), and for the life of me, I can't get most mods to work. I've gone through all the tutorials and had a bunch of people help me troubleshoot, but something on my end breaks linux weidu. I've spent months on this and have kind of given up. But I have found a workaround.
So, my question. Would it be at all reasonable and not a pain in the butt to package Breagar with a self extracting installer? Like how SCS and Tweaks Anthology comes. I can't run weidu directly for some reason, but I CAN run the installer through wine. Breagar quickly became one of my favorite npcs, and I've missed having him in my games. Doesn't help that my last computer died before I could finish a full BG2 run with him.

According to the readme, I'm supposed to edit the .bat file to match the values of the breagar mod. The default values are here:

Aside from the readme, I'm not sure what to change these to. I assume I change "mod_folder" to match breagar's directory. But do any of the other vaules need to change?
