Tutu State of the Modding Union

Hello,

Searching through several modding forums, there seems to be a lot of references to the unending update loop described by the guest. Basically, when it happens to me, it's solved by exiting the command prompt (not advisable, generally) and running the mod's WeiDU executable again, but depending on the user the solution may differ.

The most accepted cause for this problem seem to be the old auto update .bat files included in the mod's package, but I have also read about other possible causes and fixes in different threads.

I suggest reading this thread to get started into the problem, and then use google / search funcion as needed.

Since Rogue Rebalancing introduced a couple of new components in v4.0 I wanted to post a small update regarding Tutu compatibility. For quick reference, here's a list of RR components which are fully compatible with Tutu:

  • Proper dual-wielding implementation for Thieves and Bards
  • Thief kit revisions
  • Proper racial adjustments for thieving skills
  • Bard kit revisions
  • Additional equipment for Thieves and Bards
  • Revised Thievery

OTOH, these components are not suitable for Tutu and will be automatically skipped during the installation process if Tutu is detected:

  • Thief High Level Ability revisions
  • Bard High Level Ability revisions
  • Proper spell progression for Bards
  • Upgradeable equipment
  • Chosen of Cyric encounter
  • Shadow Thief improvements

Cheers! :)

Hi,

I think it's save to include Ajantis BG1 Expansion Modification onto the compatibility list. For install order I would suggest after BG1NPC project, although it should also work if it's installed before it. I guess after Xan and Coran friendship mods would be a good place.

Download is at Rosenranken (first download on the list). Currently it's version 2.1:

I'm having a problem with iiItems. I figured I'd ask here first since I've pretty much followed the whole tutu install order.

All the unique iiItems in the stores are basically cursed. I purchase them, they go to my inventory, and I can't move them at all. I can't even equip them. If no one has an idea, I guess it's time to start registering some on the other forums. =p

You have to give your WeiDu.log. I never experience troubles with iitems on easytutu.

Ok. I'm pretty much clueless as to what you need, though. Am I looking for something particular in this log, do you want the whole thing, or do I need to do something specific in game?

Well. One look at the actual file answers that question:

Hm. This isn't actually doing anything. No log except the WeiDU.log that is already there and I've already posted.
