July 8th, 2012: Sword Coast Stratagems updated to version 21

Sword Coast Stratagems is primarily a tactical mod for Tutu and the Baldur's Gate I part of Baldur's Gate Trilogy. The idea is to make the game rather more tactically challenging, rather than just making it harder by brute-force methods like tripling all the damage rolls. It also contains a few rule tweaks and ease-of-use features. Version 21 is a maintenance update, with new French and Russian translations, a few minor tweaks, and a number of bugfixes. Grab it direct here. You can also visit the extensive project pages, readme, or SCS forum for more information.

July 8th, 2012: Sword Coast Stratagems II updated to version 21

Sword Coast Stratagems II is a collection of mini-mods for Baldur's Gate II, affecting both Shadows of Amn and the Throne of Bhaal extension. Like its Tutu predecessor, SCS II is mostly a tactics mod, intended to make the combats in the game more challenging and interesting. Overall, playing SCS II shouldn't exactly feel like a whole new game - it should feel like the old game, but with your foes acting much more intelligently and realistically. Version 21 is a maintenance update, with new French and Russian translations and a number of minor tweaks and bugfixes. Grab it direct here. You can also visit the extensive project pages, readme, or SCS II forum for more information.

January 28, 2012: Tyris Flare, v6 Now Available!

Meet Tyris Flare, a red-haired amazon who can kick ass and hurl fire! Sound familiar? That's because she used be in Golden Axe! But now she's lost in the Umar Hills and looking for the love of a good (or bad) Bhaalspawn. This latest version of Tyris has a couple of miscellaneous fixes, however the major change is that Tyris will now dual-class at level 7 giving her the extra killing power that people asked for. Enjoy. Please visit the mod's Project Page or Forum for more information or download the mod directly from the download center.

January 15, 2012: Spell Revisions, v3.1 Now Available!

Spell Revisions aims to fix, tweak, and enhance arcane and divine spells in Baldur's Gate II, Tutu, and Baldur's Gate Trilogy. This originally started as a project to make the spell system more balanced by improving weaker spells and nerfing overpowered ones, but has evolved to also include changes to spells designed to make them more fun and interesting and fixes for spell-related bugs found in the original game. Version 3.1 adds French, Spanish, and Russian translations and includes all fixes for v3. Please visit the mod's Project Page or Forum for more information or download the mod directly from the download center.

Item Randomiser is a large-scale random treasure mod for Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II. Version 6.3 is a minor release which fixes some bugs and makes some tweaks to the workings of the mod. It also introduces an optional component which was previously part of the main component (i.e. not optional). Please note that some of these changes make it inadvisable to upgrade from an older version. You can view Item Randomiser's readme or spoilers, download it from the downloads page, or discuss the mod on its forum.
