December 22, 2013: G3 Welcomes Vynd NPC!

The Gibberlings Three would like to welcome Glam Vrock and their Vynd NPC mod! Vynd is a drow assassin who will join your party in Beregost! This mod is for BGTutu, BGT, and BG:EE! The mod is currently in beta so players who would like to help with testing, head on over to Vynd's forum.

Sword Coast Stratagems is a collection of interconnected mini-mods for Baldur's Gate (on the BGT/BGTUTU/BGEE versions) and Baldur's Gate II.

It is primarily a tactical and AI-enhancement mod: the idea is to make the game's combat more interesting, tactically challenging, and realistic by more effective use of, and choices of, creatures' abilities. It also contains a few rule tweaks and ease-of-use features. Version 28 fixes a collection of bugs mostly with the two Enhanced Editions, and also updates the French translation. Grab it direct here. It is primarily a tactical and AI-enhancement mod: the idea is to make the game's combat more interesting, tactically challenging, and realistic by more effective use of, and choices of, creatures' abilities. Enjoy nearly fifty brand-new romantic adventures by thirteen different authors with joinable and non-joinable, BioWare and custom characters. November 15, 2013: Version 5 of Angelo Released

Authored by Sister Vigilante and coded by Kulyok, Angelo Dosan is the fighter-turned-mage who served as your brother's henchman in Baldur's Gate. You may remember that he sentenced you to death and fought against you in the Undercity, and if you were lucky enough to mine the content, you may remember that he is Shar-Teel's father. Most likely he didn't survive your game, but people in this world seem to have a knack for not staying dead. Version 5 applies a few fixes and tweaks, and updates the mod to be compatible with Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. November 24, 2013: Version 3 of Wheels of Prophecy Released

Wheels of Prophecy aims to add a bit more nonlinearity and roleplaying opportunity to the Throne of Bhaal expansion, mostly but not entirely centered around chapter nine.It doesn't change the main events of Throne of Bhaal (not much, anyway), but it does let the player interact with them in a much more flexible way. Features include:

  • Engage with the three Bhaalspawn of chapter 9 in any order
  • Greatly expanded dialogue with Balthazar, Melissan, Sendai, and Abazigal.
  • Modifications to dialogue with Carras, Saemon, Faheed, Zahee, Elminster, and the Solar.
  • Extra encounters part-way through dealing with the Five (depending which route you take) and just before confronting Melissan.
  • An expanded conversation with the stone heads featuring voicing cut from the released version of Throne of Bhaal, but unearthed by K'aeloree of Spellhold Studios.

October 3, 2013: Version 4 of Amber Available

Amber is a tiefling rogue of a chaotic good alignment, possessed of a few special abilities. She can develop friendship with your character, and possibly romances with either Player1 or Player2, if you bring her on your adventures. The new version includes updates for BGII:EE compatibility. October 2, 2013: Version 9 of Auren Aseph Mod Released

Auren Aseph is a is a NPC mod for BG2, featuring a young and eager fighter from Beregost. She was born to a middle class merchant and his wife, and grew up a headstrong girl. Her father would tell her stories of adventurers he'd run into while on his caravan routes, and Auren became more and more interested at the thought of adventuring as she got older. She'd spend hours every week at the famous blacksmith Thunderhammer's shop, staring at all of the many types of weapons and armor, both magical and non-magical. Auren also features an original soundtrack, which is also available separately on the downloads page. Version 8 added translations in Russian and French as well as updates for BGII:EE compatibility and a Linux version, however, it contained a bug with the audio extraction routine which is now fixed in v9. September 30: Baldur's Gate II Tweak Pack v14 Available for Download

The BG2 Tweak Pack is a WeiDU compilation of fixes, cosmetic changes, and tweaks. Some of these were fan requests, others are needed fixes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. Each component can be installed separately so the player can pick and choose only which ones they wish to install. Version 14 is a collection of bug fixes, some compatibility updates for BG:EE and BGII:EE, and some new, EE-exclusive components. September 30, 2013: Mur'Neth v11 Now Available; Updated for BG:EE

Mur'Neth is an NPC mod for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition or either of the Baldur's Gate conversions, Tutu or BGT-WeiDU. He can be found inside the Nashkel Mines and is a Ghaunadan, a member of the race of ooze - like shapechangers who venerate Ghaunadaur, the evil deity of oozes, moulds and the like. Version 11 has undergone major updates to be compatible with BG:EE and also sports some minor bugfixes. September 30, 2013: G3 Anniversary v9 Released

Version 9 of the G3 Anniversary mod is now available. The G3 Anniversary mod was created by the resident modders on the site's first anniversary as a way to thank our wonderful community. It features one long (and admittedly somewhat silly) quest that can be initiated by speaking a Drini, a half-elf in the Copper Coronet. The new version has been updated for BGII:EE compatibility. September 30, 2013: P&P Celestials Updated to v6

Caedwyr's classic P&P Celestials has been updated for compatibility with the forthcoming BGII:EE. In Pen and Paper AD&D the celestials are powerful and scary enemies if you get on their wrong sides. Caedwyr modifies the Devas and Planetars that are summoned by the player so they gain most of their Monster Manual abilities and stats. berelinde's Dragon Age: Origins Style Portraits and Amaurea's BG Portraits have been updated for compatibility with BG:EE and the forthcoming BGII:EE. September 6, 2013: Version 7 of Romantic Encounters Released

Auguest 18, 2013: Icewind Dale Fixpack v6 Now Available

The Icewind Dale Fixpack is designed to fix several bugs and errors that remain in the game after the official patches have been applied. Version 6 adds a handful of new fixes and corrects a bug that would produce invincible revenants. The Fixpack works with or without the expansions Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster installed. In fact, many issues quietly fixed by Heart of Winter or Trials of the Luremaster have been rolled back to every version of the game. July 24, 2013: G3 Announces IWDification; Beta 1 Available

IWDification is a mod to bring some of the elements of Icewind Dale into the Baldur's Gate series of games. A lot of this project is based upon the work of the IWD-in-BG2 conversion project. The mod adds various elements such as selectable bard songs, two-handed axes, and over 65 new spells into your BG2, Tutu, BGT, or BGEE game. July 9, 2013: Sorcerer's Place Collection v10 Released

This collection of kits and an item pack from Sorcerer's Place has a new Russian translation, thanks to subzero400, and an updated French translation courtesy of the d'Oghmatiques. A few more compatibility updates for BGEE round out the updates in v10. The mods in this collection were originally in an older, harder-to-install format until CamDawg converted them to use a WeiDU installer. Item restrictions are applied dynamically, meaning that the item restrictions for the Arcane Fist and Archer of Sylvanus kits will be implemented across all items in the game, including those added or altered by other mods. July 8, 2013: Version 4 of the Geomantic Sorcerer Now Available

The Geomantic Sorcerer Kit is strongly based on the Druidic Sorcerer Kit by Constant Gaw, and resurrected by hlidskialf and loosely based on the Geomancer presitige class from the AD&D 3rd Edition Masters of the Wild manual. The kit combines the sorcerer's spellcasting methods and spells with additional druidic spells and abilities and features its own unique tiered HLA progression and custom spells. Version 4 adds a French translation by Zooloo of the d'Oghmatiques. July 6, 2013: Version 7 of Every Mod and Dog Released

Every Mod and Dog (EMaD) is a WeiDU-based mod that adds a selection of small diversions and sidequests to Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. Its major aim is to recapture some of the more buoyant and adventurous spirit that was found in the original Baldur's Gate. Version 7 fixes some bugs with the Promise of a Troll quest. April 15, 2013: Version 10 of the Baldur's Gate II Fixpack Released

The BG2 Fixpack is a WeiDU compilation of fixes for Baldur's Gate II. This collaborative effort, including the work of modders from several different modding communities, has been the definitive compilation of fixes to supplement the official patches since its initial relase in 2006 and includes all of the fixes addressed by previous efforts such as Baldurdash (including the Game Text Update) plus several hundred more.

Version 10 is a major update, encompassing nearly three years of work since the v9 release, much of it thanks to the efforts of Wisp and aVENGER. Numerous fixes have been added, many fixes have passed their required field testing and moved from the BETA Fixes to the Core, and the documentation has been completely revamped. The Fixpack is available from the downloads page or you can browse the readme. You can learn more about the mod (including documentation of the bugs fixed) from the project page. April 14, 2013: BG Quests and Encounters v8.1 Released

This is a mini-mod for all BG games: "vanilla" BG (with or without the add-on Tales of the Sword Coast), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, and BGT. It adds several small quests and encounters to the game, including the "slime quest", jastey's former stand alone BG1 mini quest mod. Version 8.1 fixes a bug in vanilla BG, adds a Polish translation and an update to the French and English translations.
